[2.0] "NWA Samhain was a disaster of a show and a disaster for NWA in general. The CW was looking to pick up a show and NWA had a chance to be on television / cable and they messed it up. Bad matches, bad endings, bad segments. They had The Sinister Minister do fucking COCAINE during the SHOW? WHAT? Why did they think that was going to fly by the CW? ! Genuinely baffling show from Billy Corgan here. [*1/4]"

[2.0] "I feel bad for the following talent for appearing on this show; Judais, Max the Impaler, Father James Mitchell, Gaagz the Gimp, Sal the Pal, Dak Draper, Mims, Brady Pierce, Colby Corino, The Mortons, The Head Bangers, Jax Dane, Pretty Empowered, Natalia Markova, Silas Mason, Chris Adonis, The Brothers Of Funstruction, Violent J, Vampiro, La Rebelion, Kenzie Paige, Trevor Murdoch, Mike Knox, Blunt Force Trauma, Aron Stevens, EC3, Thom Latimer, Kamille, and especially Matt Cardona. Anyway, there were a few funny moments, and Colby Corino and Kenzie Paige's matches were decent, but this was a WWE ECW level show without the budget or big venue. But they did have passible talent. This is like if Vince Russo booked December to Dismember, TOO MANY NONSENSICAL GIMMICK MATCHES. The talent I listed above need to take their talents elsewhere (preferably TNA), because it is being wasted here."

[3.0] "A sort of an "extreme rules"-themed show, with all of the men's matches having some sort of special stipulation attached, most of which amounted to minor variations of the no-DQ match. It comes out to a bit of a mixed bag, with some solid bouts such as the main event, Corino vs Alonzo, both women's matches and Mason vs Adonis, some that had enough chaotic fun to keep them entertaining (Brothers of FunStruction & Violent J vs Rebelion & Vampiro, Taylor & Morton vs Headbangers), and some stuff that was just on the weak side, such as the Tag Title match and Dane vs Troop. Cardona's return was welcome and his challenge to EC3 is interesting. Not as strong as one would hope for from the "new era" the NWA started with the 75th anniversary show, but not a total loss. Whatever one may think of EC3, at least you're going to get a better main event out of him as champ than we got with Tyrus. Of course this show also featured the infamous coke angle that caused a lot of trouble for an NWA that really can't afford it."

[5.0] "I think it's a bit of a stretch to call this show good or even solid but it does have a distinct almost bizzaro world vibe to it that I mostly enjoyed, enhanced by a lively crowd that really contrasted with the usual dark, soulless void most NWA shows that I've seen take place in front of. If you're here for the wrestling the constant barrage of gimmick after gimmick might get on your nerves but I honestly thought they were mostly well employed with nothing outstaying it's welcome (aside from the opener) and a lot of subpar workers being able to lean on shenanigans to make their matches halfway watchable. If you're only looking for the highlights I would stick with the James Mitchell segments, the Corgan/Cardona faceoff, the Corino/Alonzo match (a nice little heated brawl), and the Knight of the Round Table Match which is some of the most enjoyable crap I've seen all year.I"

[4.0] "Okay event, with a few matches being any good, with the rest not delivering, matches that sounded good on paper did not deliver. Alex Misery, Cody James, Jake Dumas, Judais & Max The Impaler vs Dak Draper, Gaagz The Gymp, Koa Laxamana, Mims & Sal The Pal: Although the stipulation was a bit confusing at first, it actually turned into a decent match with some surprising moments and eliminations [***1/4]. Brady Pierce vs Rush Freeman: Started off okay but then turned into chaos when Rolando Freeman lowblowed Brady Pierce then Matt Cardona came down and started hitting a steel chair around [DUD]. Colby Corino vs Joe Alonzo: Pretty good match with some crazy spots, they took advantage of the falls count anywhere stipulation as the ring would not have been able to contain these two [***1/4]. Alex Taylor & Kerry Morton vs Mosh & Thrasher: While there was some okay wrestling, the stipulation where if a pin attempt fails then they had to take a shot was ridiculous, due to the fact the wrestlers involved were obviously feeling it after some time and I don't know why they had the stipulation on in the first place [DUD]. Jax Dane vs Blake Troop: I could not see any chemistry between these two, the pace of the match was off at times and Silvio getting involved was ridiculous as well [DUD]. Ella Envy & Kylie Paige vs Natalia Markova & Taylor Rising: There were a few problems with this match, ranging from the referee being biased to the action at times being a bit chaotic to the ending falling flat, match is totally skippable [DUD]. Silas Mason vs Chris Adonis: I did enjoy this match, there were times the action was good, especially on the outside of the ring, Silas Mason beating Chris Adonis was shocking [**1/4]. Ruffo The Clown, Violent J & Yabo The Clown vs Bestia 666, Mecha Wolf & Vampiro: Good match, quite a few comedic moments made for a great watch, a match that had unique and different weapons within the boxes [***1/2]. Kenzie Paige vs Ruthie Jay: Decent match, Ruthie Jay brought her best but it wasn't enough [**3/4]. Mike Knox & Trevor Murdoch vs Carnage & Damage: Good tables match with the unusual stipulation of having to go through a round table, thought it was funny how Kyle Davis (ring announcer) had to keep announcing when someone went through a rectangle table that it did not count [***1/2]. EC3 vs Thom Latimer: An interesting main event as it was decent for the most part but then towards the end when Matt Cardona interfered and tried to attack Kamille but Thom Latimer made the save and which allowed EC3 to retain the title was not good [**3/4]"

[6.0] "A solid show. There were some bad patches and the angle at the end of the Loser Leaves Town match just about lost me altogether. However, there was a lot to like. They had a good variety of styles on display. The Junior Heavyweight match was particularly fun, although they brawled around the arena. (Diehard fans of the American Junior style are going to be enraged by not seeing their One True Wrestling on this show.) And, of course, there was a main event that felt like a credible NWA title bout again. They still have a lot of ground to win back but the arrow is pointing up."
