[6.0] "Apart from the opener and main event, the rest of this show was very very average. I expected alot more from the Thorpe and Dijak but with the conclusion of the match i assume thats why it wasn't as good as it could of been. Corbin vs Briggs was ok for a squash match. I did enjoy the little packages the all the tag teams out for tea with Tony D and Stacks"

[9.0] "Solid Episode, I'm very happy that Pete "BUTCH" Dunne is gonna face Norm Dar at NXT: No Mercy I'm hoping he wins. Trick Williams won twice tonight and now gonna face Dominik Mysterio at NXT: No Mercy for the WWE NXT North American Championship. The Main Event Segment rocked with Carmelo Hayes & Ilja Dragunov."

[6.0] "I thought today's show had 2 good matches and a banger in the main event, but I thought they should have given Thea vs Dani more time. the show had 3 forgettable matches in OTM vs HankTank, Corbin vs Briggs and Gacy vs Trick, I thought they should have cut all three matches"

[8.0] "Another really fun episode of NXT. NXT has been consistently great over the past month. Butch vs. Joe Coffey was a fun opener to start the show and thank God Butch won this match. I have no interest in seeing Joe Coffey wrestle Noam Dar at No Mercy. Eddy Thorpe vs. DIJAK was a decent strap match that allowed DIJAK to taunt Thorpe's family which got good heat. This can't compare to the Danielson/Starks strap match from the last AEW PPV but it was a solid effort nonetheless. Main event 4 way was really fucking good and I like the story of Trick Williams trying to win his own gold to step out of Carmelo Hayes' shadow. Carmelo and Ilja had a good contract signing that surprisingly didn't end in violence but they both did a good job selling me on their main event at No Mercy. The final angle to end the show was very reminiscent of something you'd see on a 1998-1999 episode of WWF Raw, and I mean in a good way. Bron and Corbin battled all across the parking lot before they made it inside and somehow they broke through the wall of HBK's office. I thought it was a neat way to end the show. I hope NXT keeps up this momentum because they are doing really good right now."

With a great fatal four way an awesome opening match for the finals for the heritage cup and a good strap match. In my opinion one of the best go home shows they have put on lately."

[8.0] "A very easy to watch show that provided enough good content while setting the stage for the likes of No Mercy and beyond. A good opener and a good main event with an enjoyable feud ender in between. A fair amount of short matches some of which worked for me more than others such as Baron/Briggs being a quick hoss fight with an impressive ending. Names such as Ilja and Trick feel ready to take the next step and Ilja feels like the pending NXT champion after a strong closing segment. No Mercy overall looks to be a good show and this did well in educating anyone that might be unfamiliar with the NXT product on what to expect there. NXT continues to be overall the most consistent week to week TV for me personally of the main American companies television programs and if anything I feel it is somewhat slept on."
