[2.0] "WCW proved that you can put on a great free outdoor show with events like Bash at the Beach or Hog Wild - but you actually need to invest effort and star power. Instead, here we got a crowd that, from the very start, was chanting that the show sucked or putting over ECW. It's even more baffling that this fiasco lasted as long as it did and wasn't canceled until 1999. An absolutely horrible show overall, dominated by The Godwinns and The Nation of Domination, with Crush looking like he was having the worst day of his life. The only real highlight was Taker vs Triple H and the Tombstone on the escalator - that should have been the actual main event."
[3.0] "The final episode of the original run of Shotgun Saturday Night and the only major moment from this episode was the Undertaker tombstoning Hunter Hearst Helmsley onto the escalator."
[3.0] "Sometimes, simpler is better. This was one of those times. Imagine you're a fan at this show and some suit comes off a train. He asks "what's going on? ". What's easier for the fan to explain? "Those three guys are on a team against the Nation of Domination" or "well, those two guys lost a tag match from cheating and then the guys that cheated came back out to help their friend cheat so the two cheated guys came back out and everyone made a ruckus so now those three guys are on a team against the Nation of Domination". Needless to say, that stereotypical 90s stockbroker character is not standing there listening to you explain this. He is already on the other side of a smash cut, snidely explaining that time is money to a never seen assistant through a brick cellphone just before a chance collision with fate, destiny, and the love of their life."
[7.0] "WWE Valut hat wieder den Tresor geöffnet und man bekommt eine komplette WWF Shotgun Saturday Night Folge diesmal #6. Lasst euch die Folge nicht madig machen die war nicht schlecht. Die Matches waren auch nicht schlecht. Ich gebe hier 7 gute Punkte. Zu alle mehr in den Guides. Location interessant, sogar mit Treppe und Rolltreppe. Sunny als eine der Kommentatoren, einen seltenen Tombstone vom Taker an Hunter. Leider wird es wohl nie ein Comeback von Shotgun Saturday Night geben."
[3.0] "This was a terrible way to end the original run of Shotgun. There's only one good moment with the Tombstone on the escalator, and you can get just as much enjoyment out of seeing that as a gif or clip on YouTube as you can from actually watching the match in its entirety."
[2.0] "Die Nation of Domination gegen die Godwinns ist natürlich ein Stinker. Hunter gegen The Undertaker ist in der Ansetzung stark in der Umsetzung leider nicht wirklich, aber geht klar. Also Montoya ist ein zu lang geratener Squash dachte ich. Sie holen aber nochmal die Jungs aus dem Opener, wird da auch nicht besser."
