16.09.2023 | Pertinax | 7.0 | The final two matches on this card carried the show hard, as the rest was either decent filler or a disgraceful slog (looking at the QQ/OT & friends match). I felt the main event had a tough act to follow after the 3v3 semi-main between Cosmic Angels and Hazuki, Kandori, and Takako amazed me - but then Momoe Nakanishi decides to turn the clock back to 2002 and put on an all-time performance. Seriously, she looks like she has another full-time run in her and I hope she actually pursues it if possible. To those who haven't seen this show, go out of your way to see the semi-main and main event - you can skip the rest.

24.08.2023 | Thenwoagedbadly | 6.0 | Apart from the highly enjoyable main event, nothing really came to life and the 'filler' tag matches lower on the card were the definition of average. Also, whilst it was somewhat cool to see people such as Kandori and Dump in a Stardom ring the lethargy of their performances made far more of an impression than their charisma. Other points of contention would be Hazuki taking the pin in the co-main (which was just ridiculous considering that if Stardom are trying to protect Shinobu for a match down the line someone could've pinned Takako). Also, whilst Miyu was excellent in selling for the OT/Dump team, QQ once again showed that as a team they frequently suck at creating a dynamic that engenders actual audience participation (where were the pained cries at Miyu's plight to help create audience sympathy...). Ultimately this was a slight misfire for Stardom because only one match truly capitalised on this rare opportunity.
21.08.2023 | Suzukigun | 9.0 | A great show that felt special and different. This is the kind of show Stardom should be doing when they do cash grab PPVs during their own Grand Prix, not the ones with unearned title matches like the last one where Tam faced a debuting Megan Bayne earlier in the month. The legends were all great, the main matches all delivered and it was a blast to witness. Momoe and Jaguar wrestled like they were half their age, as did some of the others. The nostalgia was at full tilt, everyone seemed to be having fun (except Miyu for obvious reasons) and it was such a surreal experience. I hope Stardom revisits this type of show again in the future because this was fantastic.
21.08.2023 | Rossg17 | 8.0 | Really good event, there was only one match that wasn't to my liking but the rest were good and the main event was one of the best matches i've seen from STARDOM in recent memory. Mariah May & Mina Shirakawa vs Megan Bayne & Thekla: Good match to start the event, Mariah May and Mina Shirakawa picking up the win was good, Megan Bayne continued to look impressive even though her and Thekla lost [***]. Ami Sourei & Saya Iida vs Maika & Suzu Suzuki: Decent match, the spear that Iida took looked cool and all four involved did a decent effort [***]. STARS vs God's Eye: Good match, the submission at the end looked kinda brutal and Mayu Iwatani getting the win for her team was cool to see [***1/4]. Dump Matsumoto, Natsuko Tora, Ruaka & Zap vs Queen's Quest & Kyoko Inoue: This match was okay at times but the use of the kendo sticks should not have happened even when the referee saw, and when the referee went down towards the end the weapons and the mist used did spoil it, this match should have been better but it wasn't terrible [*3/4]. Cosmic Angels vs Hazuki, Shinobu Kandori & Takako Inoue: Quite a good semi main event, I liked the fact that Hazuki was teamed with two japanese women's wrestling veterans and that they looked like they had teamed for a long time and Cosmic Angels getting the win was good to see [****1/4]. Jaguar Yokota & NanaMomo vs Momo Watanabe, Starlight Kid & Yuu: Perfect way to close out the STARDOM Midsummer Festival, with one of the best if not the best multi women matches of 2023 and recent memory, a passing of the torch match if you would call it that, a fantastic past vs present and future match [*****1/4].
