[9.0] "Great Smackdown. Bunch of really fun short matches, that opening tag was such a fun spring and I have endless love for the weirdo low card team of Taz and Raven. Main event is well built and great Rock promo about Rikishi, although LOL they've got him out there saying the WWF has never been racist ever. Great segment with Foley and Austin as well, and Regal punched Al Snow in the back of the head. Damn fine episode."

[8.0] "A top tier SmackDown with strong matches, sharp storytelling, and a focused Austin/Rikishi feud. Everything clicked without filler."

[9.0] "This was an excellent episode of SmackDown with a welcome absence of long 20 minute plus promos and the seriously overdone 'can they coexist' tag team matches and instead we got a really good wrestling show and some excellent story beats throughout the night. There was multiple moments with a terrifying looking Austin now he knows Rikishi ran him down and there was a few good moments with JR trying to reason with him and he has another strong in ring segment with Foley where he gives him a No Holds Barred match with Rikishi at No Mercy. Angle was great in this show as well where he was looking a much bigger threat to the title not only because of his new partnership with Stephanie, but also the way he manipulated the entire situation with the RTC challenging an off his game Rock to a title match in order to try and give himself an easier opponent for No Mercy. It's just brilliantly set up and the Rock vs Val Venis main event it set up was a great match as well and perfectly laid out. There was also a solid Dudleys vs Lo Down Table Match with hilarious commentary from E&C cosplaying the Los Conquistadores. Triple H/Road Dogg vs Benoit/Saturn was solid too and there's been a run of shows where Regal has been on commentary trashing Al Snow's European Title defences and thats been quite enjoyable as well. There was nothing bad here at all to be honest."

[7.0] "This was a good show seeing Stone Cold being obsessed with getting back after Rikishi was fun. There's also some solid wrestling to backup up the segments."

[8.0] "Great episode this week. Very good from an in-ring perspective and with the talking segments mainly confined to the Austin/Rikishi angle they are a lot easier to sit through."

[7.0] "Enjoyable show. Of course everything was about Stone Cold but I must that admit that midcard storylines were nice too. And yeah. Al Snow is such a good comedian."
