[3.0] "First edition that I miss and I do not regret. A show without flavor with 3/4 of the matches to throw. Tsuji vs Jacobs deserved more time. We have to wait for the last two matches to have real content. Very disappointed with this show which is not worth any of the first two editions."

[6.0] "Very much structured like a house show, get everyone on the card, and bring in some of the bigger guys in Britwres. It's always nice for bigger promotions to come over to the UK. The singles matches in the first half of the show were good, but needed more time to reach their full potential, whereas the big multi-man matches really killed the pacing of the show. Probably should have had the singles matches in-between the big multi-man stuff, or just count the matches down. The arena had tons of empty seats which was depressing. For anyone wanting to watch the show but doesn't have all the time in the world, the only good matches were the IWGP Junior tag match, and the two top singles matches."

[8.0] "Was not hot on most of the undercard, nothing on it was bad necessarily, just wasnt wowed by it. But the last two matches raise the overall score. Ishii and Shingo had a singles match an even higher quality than their G1 this year and the main event was phenomenal. But what do you expect from two of the best wrestlers alive?"

[7.0] "Really good event but only like, three matches that were not fillers or lazy booked. The two main events were great, classic matches, and I loved Yota vs Jacobs too... the rest felt like under-card random stuff, only to fill a blank, not the ideal thing to have in a ppv."

[8.0] "Robbie X vs Taiji Ishimori: Fun but short match to start the show, they could have had more time but they were still able to put on a good fast paced match, Ishimori looked good in his first match back from injury back in May [***]. El Desperado vs Trent Seven: Decent enough match but the weapon usage and the referee bump were not necessary and the low blow as well from Seven was not needed, El Desperado winning with the roll up was not the right decision [**]. Luke Jacobs vs Yota Tsuji: A good back and forth match, another match that could have been given more time, but both did a great job, enjoyed it [***1/4]. Clark Connors & Drilla Moloney vs Cameron Khai & Leon Slater: A great Jr Heavyweight tag title match, Leon Slater and Cameron Khai worked well together and they nearly dethroned the champions Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney which was surprising, but kept fighting until the end, with Connors and Moloney showing their team experience triumphed Khai and Slater [***3/4]. BC War Dogs vs Guerillas Of Destiny: A decent match with some good in ring work for some of the time, but BC War Dogs had to try and use underhanded tactics to get one over GOD, which failed [**3/4]. Francesco Akira & Great O-Khan vs Ren Narita & Shota Umino: I enjoyed this match, Narita and Umino worked well despite their recent wanting to tear each other apart in Japan, United Empire losing was both a surprise and the right choice [***1/2]. BUSHI & Tetsuya Naito vs DOUKI & SANADA: Good start to the build up to Naito vs SANADA at Wrestle Kingdom 18, DOUKI and BUSHI respectively served their purpose and it resulted in a decent match [***]. Eddie Kingston, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Michael Oku vs HENARE, Jeff Cobb & TJP: Great six man tag team match, all six did really well, great preview of Kingston and HENARE, Oku picking up the win against a veteran in TJP was good to see [***3/4]. Shingo Takagi vs Tomohiro Ishii: Another hard-hitting war between these two, they continue to have awesome match after awesome match [*****]. Will Ospreay vs Zack Sabre Jr: A awesome way to close out Royal Quest III with one of the best title defenses for Ospreay, ZSJ really proved to be a potential threat to the reign of Ospreay, hard-hitting and some great submission attempts, would not have expected anything less from these two [*****1/2]"

[4.0] "This show would be total rubbish if not for the Semi-Main & the Main Event. Because these two matches totally elevated the show to another level that was not delivered by all of the undercard. To think that some of these wrestlers travelled across the globe to wrestle the way they did on the undercard is honestly surprising. The quality of combatants is here, just not the execution. Overall, a show I will never watch again, but shout-out Ospreay, Sabre, Takagi, & Ishii for them delivering in great matches."

[8.0] "This show is all about the semi and main event. Both matches are essential viewing. Everything on the undercard is good at minimum and flies by but was honestly a bit worrying that the show was going to under deliver until the Ishii v Shingo match. If you have the time Tsuji v Jacobs is a a very good, albeit too short battle and the Jr tag title match showcases some great raw talent."

[7.0] "The first three matches were unique encounters and they were also good; unfortunately after the BC WD's match everything collapsed in a Road to - Show until the last two matches that luckly were awesome; especially the main - event was something else. ***1/2"

[6.0] "The top two matches are excellent even if neither of them are the best matches they have had between them. The rest of the card was an absolute slog with nothing worth watching if you are going back to the show at a later date. I enjoyed commentary and RevPro production is slowly but surely getting better."

[8.0] "I find difficult to rate the show as a whole. It would actually be necessary to distinguish two notes. The first for the entire card, and the second for the last two matches only. In other words, the show as a whole was rather mediocre: a lot of Japanese stars had come to London to greet the public - and that's very nice of them -, but not to deliver a memorable athletic performance, because we are at the end of the year and they're tired. On the other hand, the last two matches were wonderful, and the clash between Will Ospreay and ZSJ is simply a legendary match. (I would still point out that the first match and the match for the IWGP Junior belts are pretty good too, but a little short.)"

[7.0] "The last two matches saved the event really In a big big way. Up til that point it was more or less a house show, given NJPWs publicised financial challenges since the pandemic era its sort of baffling that they spent the money to fly these guys out and put them in hotels for the sake of 8, 9, 10 min matches. It would be nice for Royal Quest to feel a bit more like an actual NJPW big event. If RQ4 was to happen next year I think they would maybe want to look at a smaller venue, I was here for Rev pro anniversary which had a reported attendance of 4, 000 (reported by Rev pro) and there looked to be much less than that here for this, baring in mind copper box can hold (I think) up to 7, 000."
