[6.0] "This wasn't any sort of truly great show but it was mostly really solid, with at least a handful of pretty enjoyable matches and the others mostly being alright or at least inoffensive. Vaquer & Zeus vs Jarochita & Lluvia had some decent ideas but mostly rather sloppy and over-choreographed execution. Their various 50/50 mirror spots looked pretty stupid, and even their more complex spots were never impressive. Vaquer, the clear standout here, had a few okay spots, at least. **1/4. Esfinge vs Rugido was much more of the lucha I was hoping for compared to that sloppy opener, featuring some nice aerial stunts, decent fundamentals, and some actual character work. There was still some obvious cooperation and somewhat goofy selling at points, but never any excessively bad, and that was made up for by all the twists as they constantly traded control and pins. ***1/4. Atlantis, Panther & Octagon vs Satanico, Fuerza & Virus, the 'old-man match' on the show, was never going to be super smooth or exciting, but I still enjoyed their respective rudo/technico work, their competent fundamentals, and the few times they briefly picked up their pace. A charming match despite its technical failings. **1/2. Dorado & Samuray vs Soberano & Titan was pretty good, even if it highlighted the usual issues I have with lucha booking. There was good arrogance and aggression from the rudos and impressively flashy stunts form the technicos, and although their spots/sequences became over-choreographed and -cooperative, they were still athletically impressive enough to remain exciting. They picked up their pace quite a lot when going for the 3rd fall, too, resulting in some quite creative and slick spots. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Atlantis Jr, Dorada & Mistico vs Rocky, Knight & TJP was alright but succumbed to the usual lucha issues. TJP was the clear standout with all his slick and flashy offence and movements at the very start, but he ended up mostly just doing generic beatdown work with Knight and Rocky. That rudo team at least had a few cool team sequences, but nothing special. The technicos likewise had some fun individual spots and team sequences, but a lot of those were also really overly cooperative and thus difficult to take too seriously. The technicos also lost momentum the longer their control period at the end went on. ***. Averno & Ultimo vs Oro & Volador was alright. Oro and Volador had some cool aerial/flippy spots, while Averno and Ultimo had some slower, less flashy, but more impactful attacks, which wasn't especially impressive but at least made for a nice contrast in styles. The friendly-fire story between Averno and Ultimo added extra interest, though it followed typically stupid wrestling logic where Averno was needlessly angered over clear accidents. **3/4. Volador vs Oro was really good and my clear MOTN. It was nonsensical booking that the winner of the last tag match were then forced into a hair-vs-hair match, but the match itself was really impressive. Oro was really entertaining with his aggressive beatdown work and unapologetically arrogant displays, while Volador was great with is sympathetic, exhausted real-time selling and his incredibly consistent shoulder-selling (to the point where I'm actually pretty sure he was IRL-injured). I really enjoyed the story of Violator's brief successes always being cut off as a result of that shoulder injury, thus always giving Oro the chance to come back. I would love to see these guys go at it again. ***1/2. Rojo vs Templario wasn't super memorable but was still quite good. Rojo showed good aggression early on, and I enjoyed the story of Templario's flashy stunts that followed always being countered by Dojo's continued aggression and power advantage. They lost some steam with their 50/50 trades, but their good timing and strong chemistry remained impressive, and basically all their big spots in the final 1/3rd was pretty cool. ***1/4"

[10.0] "The attendance number for this show is wrong, it was sold out which means 16000-17000, not 6087. It was a very good and entertaining show from the first match to the last one, even the legends match. This year CMLL was easily the best Mexican promotion. I hope the next shows with RevPro will be successful too."

[8.0] "A great show, with a few minor gripes. The legends match was so-so, but admittedly, I probably would have found it more appealing if I was more than a casual fan. The final tag match was too brief to be much (understandably, given the following match). Besides those two matches, everything else was good to great. I particularly enjoyed Templario's selling in the last match! I've been out of the loop with Lucha for a while, and this was a great, breezy show to dive back into it."

[10.0] "One of the best shows of the year, and my personal favorite. Every match delivered or overdelivered, from bottom to the top of the card, the crowd loved every single match and it improved the experience. Thi was perfect for lucha libre, a 90th aniversary worth event. (Fuck the guy that rated it 7 btw)"

[10.0] "Top to bottom, one of the best shows of the year. CMLL continues to prove why they are the hottest promotion in the world by delivering a show of the year contender at the most important event of the year for the promotion. The legends match, Mistico/Mascara Dorada/Atlantis Jr vs Romero/Knight/TJP, and the semi-main/main event were the key highlights for me, with the women's tag team match being very good as well."

[7.0] "A very good show with a great crowd. You'll find it even better if the main and semi hit for you. For me, neither quite reached a peak, which took what was looking like a great show down a notch. Nothing on the show is bad and the four hour run time can be cut down quite a lot by skipping between matches. If you are going to skip matches, I'd recommend starting on match three or four but, if you have time, it's honestly worth watching the whole show."

[9.0] "Very good show. I'm a very casual watcher of CMLL and most of the guys I know and like weren't on the card, and yet it still flew by. Nothing t slow or bad and the big time matches all delivered. There's nothing in wrestling quite like a good show at Arena Mexico."

[10.0] "SHOW OF THE YEAR CONTENDER! I don't even know where to begin, honestly. I loved every single match, (even the one with Octagón), which is in gret form btw. Loved the crowd from Arena Mexico. Loved the Cabellera vs. Cabellera between Volador and Angel. Absolutely love the classic that Templário and Dragon Rojo putted together. Anyways, don't waste your time, and watch this show immediatly."
