Cage also endlich mit seinem Titel. Tolle Geschichte. Tolle Collision Ausgabe insgesamt. |

16 | 12.10.2023 | Michael Morbius | 9.0 | One of the Collisions so far: the opening three way was awesome, my match of the night. Having Christian winning the title was the right choice as he is the best heel in the company. Rvd & Hook vs. 2point0 was satisfacotry, it was cool to see Van Dam again. The crowd loved him and he looked in great shape. Don Callis' backstage promo was great. Andrade vs. White was really good, alotugh it was a bit dissapointing. The dirty finish leaves space for a rematch. Hogan vs. Hart was the worst match of the night. Hart's character work is awesome but her in-ring work doesn't excite me at all, maybe with a more expierenced opponent like Statlander she can deliver a better perfomance. Ftr vs. Workhorsemen was short but solid. Post-match promo by Aussie Open was cool. Starks vs. Danielson wasn't as good as their first match but it was still a great, hard-hitting and intense battle. The final minutes were perfect. Overall: there were three great match and the rest of the card delivered as well. The pacing and the structure of the show were awesome and the build-up towards WrestleDream was great. |

21 | 08.10.2023 | jaytodadee | 9.0 | Starke Episode! |
22 | 06.10.2023 | arrancar | 5.0 | These supposed "all time" episodes of AEW TV continue to be mostly very mediocre, with there being only one match/segment here that I'd give a good recommendation for. Saurus vs Christian vs Darby was alright. Saurus was once again a good monster with his genuinely monstrous offence, though I could do without his monster-like character work. Christian's sneaky and cheap tactics and character-work moments were pretty entertaining, too. Darby was the real star here with his crazy daredevil attacks and insanely risky bumps. I did lose some interest in Darby's later 1-v-2 hope spots just because they felt a bit too convenient, but Christian pinning Saurus to officially become TNT champ was cool. ***. Parker & Menard vs Hook & RVD was pretty pointless. Hook remains a mostly spot-based wrestler and thus quite limited, but his unique judo style and power moves are at least interesting. RVD just did all his signature spots for cheap nostalgia pops, at least doing so with okay technique. Parker and Menard were as boring and worthless as ever, both as characters and as in-ring workers. **1/4. Dark Order's backstage vignette was pretty lame. Even if their dorkiness' is intentional, it's still really off-putting. The Kingdom's backstage promo was technically well-delivered but I still struggle caring at all about them. Kiera vs Julia was an alright squash. I still find Julia's "dark witch" character rather try-hard, especially when she plays emotionless and 'cold' when in control, but her beatdown work was actually alright, and she didn't look too sloppy. Kiera had generic offence but at least decent energy. TS;NR (too short; no rating). The Righteous' vignette had good production values, but their characters feel far too hokey and NXT-like. Andrade vs Jay was pretty good and easily MOTN. I really enjoyed how physical and how skilled with their selling both men were, with Jay's arrogant displays, heavy beatdown work, and cheap tactics placing him firmly as the heel, while Andrade's confident displays and his flashy and athletic offence solidified him as the babyface. They had some really good big-move trades and big spots in the final 1/3rd, but BC Gold's constant interference was pretty egregious and definitely detracted from the match. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Ortiz's vignette calling out Santana was short but effective, as was Taylor's backstage promo calling out Lee. FTR vs WorkHorsemen was surprisingly quite exciting despite how short it was, with both Henry and Drake delivering some pretty impressive attacks and getting some fun hope spots, while FTR were all around very solid and impressed as they gained control and took the win. TS;NR. Aussie Open were pretty dire on commentary, though their post-match callout promo was better, even if FTR immediately showed them up with their response. CJ and Miro's backstage confrontation continued their odd new relationship, which I'm still not sure if I'm a fan of. Danielson vs Starks was clearly inferior to their Strap match, and I have no clue why it was booked. I did enjoy both men's selling and character work, and Danielson's aggressive and gritty technical work will never not be impressive, but aside from that this featured some very generic and occasionally even quite weak weapon attacks and brawling exchanges. Also, having Danielson beat Starks AGAIN felt stupid. We don't even have the "at least Starks looked strong and compelling in defeat" silver lining this time, either. This really just solidified that Starks is a mid-carder and not a top guy, which is asinine. But I'm at least sure a win over... uh... Wheeler Yuta at WrestleDream... will help propel Starks to the top. *** |

No not really, it felt sub AEW Dark levels honestly and had no place on weekly tv. 1 womens match and its less than 5 mins..cool. A random RVD tag match for some reason? I just dont get the booking sometimes because there is good stuff here, but when theres so much wrestling media I really don't need my time wasted with filler like this. The triple threat, Andrade vs White & Danielson vs Starks were all really good and if this episode was just that then it's easy to give this a 9, but unfortunately it wasnt. |

The promos and segments, for the most part, enjoyable and enjoyable, I think they are doing a great job with this show on Saturdays and although there are still nuances that make it look like a simple copy of Dynamite but in another color it's getting that red color it should have, I quite liked this week's show. |

49 | 27.09.2023 | GoldLiger | 9.0 | Really good show and all both for matches and promos, but I'm commenting so I can give FTR/Workhorsemen a rating because it barely missed 5 minutes. Workhorsemen have been underrated since EVOLVE put them together, and they really excel in that "southern indie strong style" style that FTR definitely sit close to; they really brought it in a great sprint that let Drake show what he could do after a while doing jobber stuff with The Wingmen. ***1/2 for that. |
50 | 27.09.2023 | Le Main Event | 10.0 | Wasnt an easy feat to match the massive Grand Slam but they actually surpassed it in my humble opinion. If Grand Slam was their All In, this Collision was their All Out. From Christian finally winning the TNT belt, the excellent Jay White/Andrade, FTR/WorkHorsemen, main event and even the showcase of Julia Hart, this episode is up there with the all-time greats. |

The opener was a good match, and a great advancement in the Christian Luchasaurus storyline. RVD match was the perfect usage of him, and the FTR tag was a great sprint. Andrade vs Jay White was very good, and Bryan/Starks delivered another amazing match. |

They also rapid fired the build towards WrestleDream, which certainly needed it with about a week to go before the show. They might want to work on that in the future, but I have no reason to believe they actually will. For now though, rather strong Collision here, though Im not sure theyre going to be able to have this strong of a card every week. |

100 | 24.09.2023 | Nevermore42 | 9.0 | This was easily the best episode of Collision ever and one of the best episodes of AEW television. We opened with a three-way for the TNT Title between Darby Allin, Christian Cage, and Luchasaurus. This was an excellent match, although the feud has seemed extremely rushed. I think we may be on the Edge of big things for Cage. We then got Hook and Rob Van Dam teaming up against Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang. This was a largely forgettable match, although RVD looked great for his age. Julia Hart then had a quick match against Kiera Hogan to set up her TBS Title challenge. We then got Jay White vs. Andrade El Idolo in a fantastic match. After that, FTR defended their Tag Team Titles against the WorkHorsemen in a decent short match. Finally, we got the Match of the Night as Bryan Danielson took on Ricky Starks in a Texas Death Match. This was excellent, but their match at the PPV was still better. I'm guessing Bryan just wanted a match where they didn't have to use smoke and mirrors to hide how injured he was. |
