[6.0] "Good show, especially considering that earlier in the night Tony Khan announced the release of CM Punk. I'm a huge fan of Punk and I'm sad that he got released but, honestly, TK made the right choice, he was causing too many problems and his brawl with Jack Perry even overshadowed AEW's biggest Pay-Per-View ever. He was a problem and TK got rid of it and it was the right choice. This episode of Collision featured a couple of good moments that helped me forgot all of Punk's controversies, especially Bryan Danielson's unexpected return at the beginning. Acclaimed vs. 2point0 & Garcia wasn't anything special as well as Outcasts vs. Shida, Baker & Statlander. Aussie Open vs. Komander & Wayne was good with another great promo by Christian Cage in the post-match. There were also a couple of very good backstage segments, esepcially Moxley and Cassidy's promos, that were really good. Dennis Rodman stuff was bad, I don't even like basketball so I didn't care at all. Hobbs & Miro brawl was lazy, not hyped at all to see their match. White vs. Harwood was a strong main event, a bit dissapoiting but still very solid. Happy to see White win. The Young Bucks even showed up to Ftr from a post-match beatdown. Overall: it was a good show despite all the news regarding Cm Punk. I was also very surprised by the crowd, I thought they were going to hijack the show but instead there weren't many CM Punk chants. Unfortunately the show had such a bad energy, the crowd was dead/apathetic and some people didn't perform like they usually do, especially Starks and Harwood who were both off. I really hope that Danielson will be the new leader in Collision's locker room and the face of the show on-screen because he is such cool dude and I think that he would a wholesome presence to have in the back. I also hope for a big Jay White push now, I would love to see him as one of the faces of the show. I hope to him to takeover the show and dominate alongside his fellow Bullet Club Gold members."

[8.0] "The opening promo was great with Ricky Starks and Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat and with the return of Bryan Danielson was surprising to see, and put pen to paper with the Strap Match with Ricky Starks. The Jon Moxley promo was good as well with him talking about the International Title match with Orange Cassidy. The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn vs Angelo Parker, Daniel Garcia & Matt Menard: Decent trios title match, some good evenly matched in ring action, Jake Hager trying to get involved was unnecessary [**3/4]. Aussie Open vs Komander & Nick Wayne: Good tag team match, Nick Wayne continues to impress with his high flying ability and Aussie Open looked strong as well and Komander looked good as well [**3/4]. The Outcasts vs Dr. Britt Baker DMD, Hikaru Shida & Kris Statlander: Nothing special with some good action to be honest, Ruby Soho picking up the win for the Outcasts was not the right choice as how she did pick up the win using underhanded tactics [**3/4]. Powerhouse Hobbs vs GPA: Just a squash match to give Hobbs some momentum heading into All Out [DUD]. Dax Harwood vs Jay White: Another great match in the rivalry of FTR and BC Gold, this time with Jay White and Dax Harwood putting up a 20 minutes good back and forth encounter, with some close near falls and could not have had a better match close out Collision [****1/4]"

[8.0] "Had to be a very hard show for the performers being in Chicago right after Punk was fired. Started out with a great segment involving Starks, Steamboat and Danielson. Cassidy and Mox also had great promos. Christian Cage has lived up to the hype Tony Khan put around his signing with great father dissing promos. The Main Event was a great match and while the rest of the matches on the card were average to a little above average it made Collision a good watch."

[7.0] "Best collision since the one with FTR vs Bullet club gold 2. Unlike most collision episodes this one was not just a succession of squash matches, there was a lot of guys on the show not just the same 10 guys we see every week, and there was a lot of great promos (Moxley, Ricky Starks, Christian...). I would even say that it was a good go home show because the build to All out has been almost non-existent but this show actually gave me some hype for the PPV"

[7.0] "Good show just prior to the PPV, it helped to put the storylines together, as it should. Starks / Steamboat segment was really good, and the return of Bryan was amazing, so good to see him again. Mox always delivers good promos; the Trios Title Match was fun, and so was Aussie Open vs Nick and Komander; the segment with Darby and Christian was solid, and so was Eddie Kingston and Castagnoli. Good to see Rodman again. The 6-Women Tag Team match was nice, and the Main Event was really good."

[7.0] "This was a very fun episode, and despite the traditionally long main event, the pacing felt better overall. We open with the Acclaimed and Daddy Ass defending their Trios Titles against Cool Hand Ang, Daddy Magic, and Daniel Garcia. This was a good match, but unfortunately Daddy Ass is to old to have great matches anymore. Next, we got Aussie Open getting their momentum back against the team of Kommander and Nick Wayne. This was a fun match and Wayne is proving to work remarkably well with luchadors. We then got the Outcasts defeating the team of Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, and Kris Statlander. This match was pretty fun, although I had hoped for some progress on the Outcasts storyline that really didn't come. Powerhouse Hobbs then squashed a Jobber, taking us to our main event between Dax Harwood and Jay White. This was an excellent match, and really ended the show on a high note."

[8.0] "Collision has been a very consistently solid show compared to the wild highs and lows of Dynamite, and I would say the first post-Punk episode of Collision stayed the course. There was enough here for the crowd to bite onto and prevent constant Punk chants, with the Starks/Steamboat/Danielson segment being the best way to kick things off on that front (though it makes it really unclear where Danielson stands since he was face vs MJF while BCC were heel, went 100% full heel, got injured in a match where he didn't do anything heelish, and is coming back to work face against Ricky). Solid matches and segments across the board, nothing incredible but nothing bad. Even the women's match did a good job since Stat & Toni were excellent and Ruby pinning Britt was the ideal finish. You can tell FTR are pissed off about Punk's firing during the main, but I'd like to think that in the long term they're professional enough to move past it. Good wrestling TV that sent a pretty clear message of "we don't need Punk to put on a good show"."

[8.0] "Very good Collision where things are finally happening in the middle of the card now that Punk's blacklist is no more, a show that concludes a very clean build week for All Out, all the matches have at least the minimum hype needed to feature in the PPV, Cm Punk is gone but Collision's specialness is still there, I felt the same vibe as the first and last weeks, the aew is going to do just fine."

[5.0] "Well, respect to Chicago for only booing TK, and not taking over the show. The Collision before All Out felt like an Elevation taping, or even WWE's Main Event. This week felt more like a Dynamite. I hope it's just me feeling off after the latest Punk news. I really liked how different Collision felt, and was presented compared to Dynamite, and hopefully they keep it that way. Ricky gave a great show opening promo, giving himself, and Big Bill a pep talk, and hopefully boosting morale all around, and if Bryan is truly cleared to wrestle for All In, then it's great seeing back. Moxley's promo was good, but a tad bit too long. I think a soft split would be good for BCC. Have Jon, and Bryan do their own thing, while Claudio continues pushing Yuta. 5/10 show, but Starks, and the main event gives it a +1"

[9.0] "For me this was one of thr strongest Collisions Shows. We got some build up to All Out, a suprise return from the American Dragon Bryan Danielson, a lot of wrestlers we usually dont't see at Collision, a great an evil Christian Cage promo and on top a hilarious Jeff Jarrett and Dennis Rodman interaction. Plus some good matches. I hope this is the direction for Collision, since Punk is gone"

[7.0] "Not a great in ring episode, but memorable for happening on the day the decision was taken by Tony Khan and AEW to terminate CM Punk's contract with cause for his actions backstage at Wembley Stadium, on top of other incidents in the two years he was associated with the promotion. The highlights here were the swerve leading to the unexpected return of Bryan Danielson to face Ricky Starks at All Out, and the promos from Orange Cassidy and Jon Moxley. And the idea that Toni Storm hangs around car parks in her underwear throwing shoes at pigeons."

[7.0] "Enjoyed the show. Yes, the vibe was obviously weird, but I couldn't care less about the firing of Punk, so I was happy to watch and hopefully the company can finally get back to normal. Some great segments tonight. Claudio beating the shit out of Yuta was a personal highlight, good god that was savagely hilarious. Mox and Orange both put each other over huge in the buildup. A good hype package for Take/Kenny. Bryan returned. The matches were good to very good, a ton of building towards All Out. The ending of the roster split is good news to me, I'm far more interested now that they'll be more than ten people hogging 2 hours every week, especially with Punk gone. Give me more Hobbs!"

[6.0] "Tough one. Mixed reactions the whole show, very weird vibe... I hope AEW moves on soon, maybe at All Out, or maybe not, because it's in Chicago as well... anyway, Tony Khan speech before the show is embarrassing, it made me cringe for Tony there really, I think he doesn't deserve it, but the things he said... are they true? I have my doubts... I hope Punk speaks too, he's been quiet at every beef, but now he is fired, I would like to know what he thinks. Now let's talk about the most important thing, the show... I think it was a mix of Dynamite and Rampage here, a poor one, but clearly there's new vibes here. The opening segment was formidable, it saved the whole thing, Bryan coming back so soon is awesome, the segment was incredibly well booked. I really liked Mox and OC stuff too. Let's see what's next for Collision, a show that was made for Punk, now he's out."

"Sort of a hard episode to judge given the circumstances, but the matches were generally solid with the main event being the standout. Great to see Danielson back, I hope he hasn't rushed back too quickly. I felt the women's trio was fun if a bit short."

[7.0] "Is it not tiring to commit to the pro-Punk propaganda war? The TEXT is the TEXT and the TEXT is that this was an episode of televised pro wrestling. The show was the show. Considering the circumstances this felt pretty normal, but I'm docking a point for Dax not being able to keep up with Jay. The PNW Darby/Swerve/Wayne/Fox stuff is actually clicking pretty well. Women's match and segments felt above par."

[3.0] "(LIVE) It's impressive that a show with DENNIS RODMAN'S RETURN TO WRESTLING (thank you Jarrett btw, AEW's third or 4th most important wrestler now that Punk is gone) could possibly have such bad vibes. No match was good enough to overcome the atmosphere and died a slow death in front of a half apathetic half vindictive crowd that mostly went through the motions and didn't have any fire outside of Tony Khan's preshow promo, Danielson's return, and the Young Bucks dropping dick and running their victory lap to end the show. The best things on the show were by far Moxley and Cassidy's pretapes, two guys who show a lot of people still in the company how to take pride in your work and not rest on your laurels. An important episode but one I didn't really get anything out of as a fan."

[7.0] "An enjoyable episode of Collision, a much better flow of the show having one specific squash match, would like this to be the ideal thing moving forward on both Dynamite and Collision, as trying to squeeze in 6 matches + promos in one show can be very difficult, fun trios title opener, great showcase for aussie open, fun trios womens match, great squash, and a fantastic main event, Jay White is a fantastic TV wrestler, crowd was very iffy and the Jarrett/Rodman stuff was weird but not terrible, a good show."

[0.0] "Honestly really disappointing show primarily because it feels like with Punk gone that Collision is going to morph into been closer to the other AEW programs which i don't enjoy. I liked that Collision was different to the other AEW shows. It felt more serious, Better laid out with a greater focus on the wrestling in the ring. It was more geared towards what i enjoy with less of the stuff i don't. I've never seen Chicago subdued before. Even when the Bucks came out at the end, the boos and Punk chants weren't thunderous like I'd have guessed. I wasn't going to watch this episode, but I decided to tune in once the Punk news broke because I figured it'd be a torrid atmosphere. Instead, they just seemed kind of numbed. That vibe extended to the performers, too. Particularly felt for Ricky Starks, who clearly was a bit off his game tonight. Feel for the guy. This was supposed to be his moment, and instead he's kind scrambling in the eleventh hour through no fault of his own. Hope All Out has some more energy behind it. This was a bad show all around"

[7.0] "First rating on here and he's calling AEW... a company that just sold 80, 000, has a tv deal on a major network.... impact wrestling.. lmao. This guy must of been the ultimate CM Punk fan. But to be honest about Collision, I think people are overreacting calling it dynamite 2.0... its been one week where TK had to hotshot book the show because of the cm punk dilemma. But can anyone tell me the last time Dynamite had a 20 minute main event wrestled in that slow paced, psychological sound style. Nope. Other than the rodman stuff that was rotten, the show was honestly average, but the main event was a legit 4 star match for me. So go out of your way to watch it."
