[6.0] "Pretty good show: Starks, Christian and Joe delivered some great promos and elevated the quality of the show. The Acclaimed vs. Iron Savages was alright as well as the women's tag match. Luchasaurus had a very bad match with Brock Anderson and Hobbs challenged Miro to a match at All Out which was fine but I'm not a huge fan of Hobbs so I really don't care. Miro should be used better. HOB vs. CMFTR was the classic Collision's long main event and it was great, the middle part was too slow and dragged down the match a bit but the closing stretch was excellent. Joe attacking and costing Punk the match was great. Overall: some solid stuff and some filler stuff but overall it was a good show."
[7.0] "In my opinion this was a pretty solid episode with a solid Ricky Starks promo, a little progression in the Billy Gunn retirement storyline with the Acclaimed, you can tell they are so over with the crowd right now and yes they can be repetitive at times but this recent storyline has me interested.. Kris Statlander finally having a worthy opponent that is testing her in Mercedes Martinez and they continue their feud building up with a solid tag match, also Toni Storm was the best female promo as usual made me laugh her heel work is so good FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TONY KHAN USE HER MORE and make Ruby and Toni turn on Saraya... Anyway Samoa Joe picked up a easy squash win as he should every week, and built up his storyline with CM Punk really well and I enjoyed seeing him make an appearance and choke CM Punk out to cost CMFTR at the end it was a nice touch to the ending of this Collision. House of Black picks up a huge win and FTR still looks strong at the end of this long brawl of a match, if FTR matches are your thing you know this wasn't nearly as good as some of the tag matches they've had the past few weeks... Still a real solid match though. Personally would of gave this a 7 or so if I could, Collision could use some more star power and personally wouldn't mind seeing Punk talk more and wrestle a little less so we could get some different talent in the main event, Collision being the CM punk only show is going to get old (especially for the AEW fans who really dislike him personally I'm neutral on him used to be a big fan but think he's been physically washed since his 2 UFC losses, still a hell of a promo though..) Good show just needs better booking in some matches. Luchasaurous vs Anderson was a instant skip for anyone watching on DVR"
[6.0] "The two opening tag matches were nothing to write home about but at least we got the right winners, even if the matches themselves didn't serve to directly enhance either team. Toni Storm is a million times better on Collision without her cronies and is actually a good promo. Every crowd loves Joe so building him for Punk with squashes is good booking because nothing more is needed. The Luchasaurus match was a bit of nothing but ended up with some good hype from Darby so no harm done. I'm not sure I've seen Hobbs do a live promo before and it was really decent; he's clearly ready for a push and I'm hyped to see him go toe to toe with Miro. The main event was excellent as we got a really good match whilst teasing or outright setting up a good half dozen matches. Not the greatest wrestling action but very good TV booking."
[5.0] "This was a just a mediocre episode overall. The great production that is usually found in this show wasn't there tn, but I still liked the way it was paced. The promos and angles were excellent; setting up plenty of buids going forward. There was some decent wrestling to be found on the mid card, especially in the women's match, which was better than I expected imo, but the main event and angles took away a little too much time from the mid card. The main event was also my favorite of this CMFTR trios tags thus far, but again; I don't need these things grazing 30 minutes eveytime, especially when the other matches are not long enough."
[6.0] "Good show, with some ups and downs. For the matches, both tag matches were nice, Samoa Joe did his thing (always good), Luchasaurus vs Anderson was the lowest point of the show, and the Main Event was really good. For the promos, Ricky Starks were fantastic, so good as a heel that the crowd still cheer him; BCG promos are always fantastic; Toni Storm "grieving" is hilarious; Christian with the mic is always gold; and Hobbs segmente, even though it was a little weird, can lead to a good rivalry with Miro. Excited for next week."
[8.0] "An decent saturday night of collision i just think that giving samoa joe 3 minutes matches is not doing much for anyone why bother to highlight people for 3 minutes, i really enjoyed the rest of the show, and specially the main event the main event payed off the whole show so far, there wasnt great promos besides the christian cage one, and that match against brock shouldve been longer to help both talents, still was decent."
[6.0] "This was a disappointing episode. We opened with the Acclaimed beating the Iron Savages because they needed to beat someone, I guess. Then we got a woman's tag team to have a woman's match I guess. I assume they're building to Martinez and Statlander, but this match didn't help. Samoa Joe mauling Andrew Everett worked well for what it was. Luchasaurus and Brock Anderson was terrible. I'm fairly sure Anderson only works there because of his dad. The main event was good, but not great."
"The Opening segment with Ricky was really good, kind of weird he is not on Wembley but he seems to be going in the right direction. The Main Event was Very Good but the rest of the show was only OK. They need more people on the show. Rush should make his return soon and i would like to see stronger feuds/stories on the lower card of the show. Toni Storms and Christians character work on Collision have been fantastic but please for the love of God stop putting JR on commentary he is so beyond washed its not funny. The whole main event he was so grumpy that he had to say Trios instead of six man tag 6/10"
[10.0] "I am a little suprised by the overall rating of this episode, I loved this episode. An awesome promo by Ricky Starks, a fun tag team match ( glad to see the iron savages ), a really good women tag team bout. Good promo by Christian as usual, the match afterwards was inherently bad but it was to build Luchasaurus before All out. Fun squash match and promo by Samoa Joe. Really good main event with some seeds planted for the Joe vs Punk match."
[3.0] "This show was pretty horrible in all regards. Collision needs to be better booked. The only match that was decent was the main event. And I know this wasnt shown on tv but Punk really needs to let it go past him. The main events are way too long and most of them arent even that great for the time they have. Disappointing all around."
[5.0] "This was a show that happened that had wrestling on it. No great matches, a lot of stuff that shouldn't be on TV and in the middle some good promos. These 25-30 minute main events need to stop. It's not sustainable in a TV format, this is not a Pay Per View."
[8.0] "The main event elevated this episode, even if they missed the start of Samoa Joe's attack on CM Punk and the finish. The other highlights were Ricky Starks' promo as he's been suspended but has a manager's license, and Toni "Norma Desmond" Storm. The rest was average or below par, especially Luchasaurus vs. Brock Anderson, and we didn't get any additional matches for All In."
[5.0] "Pretty mid episode. Some decent promo stuff, particularly from the various villians this week, but honestly just too much filler. Most of the matches are predictable extended squashes, with the exception of the ladies match and the main event being pretty good. I'm not fan of whatever Punk's character is doing right now, but I'll give it a few more weeks and see what happens around All Out."
[8.0] "Decent episode of Collision, with a great main event match and the other matches were okay/decent. The Acclaimed vs The Iron Savages: Decent opener, enjoyed it and The Iron Savages looked impressive and The Acclaimed winning was good to see [**3/4]. Kris Statlander & Willow Nightingale vs Diamante & Mercedes Martinez: Good tag team match within the women's division, both teams showed great teamwork, the ending kinda ruined the match when Diamante helped Mercedes Martinez pin Willow Nightingale [**3/4]. Samoa Joe vs Andrew Everett: A squash match that made Samoa Joe look dominant as hell and adding more momentum to Samoa Joe [*]. Luchasaurus vs Brock Anderson: An okay match, Brock was able to get some offense into Luchasaurus until Luchasaurus was able to pull off the victory [*3/4]. CMFTR vs The House Of Black: An absolute banger of a main event match, not a 5 * match but it should be really close to that, all men involved gave what they had and the ending sequence was cool when they took each other out, and Samoa Joe getting involved with CM Punk made for a compelling watch as they have a rivalry going on so it was compelling to see that rivalry coming into this match [****3/4]"
[8.0] "I can understand why this show is being underrated. It had some weak matches, maybe some people didn't like the outcome of the main event, the TNT title match I think was just unnecessary, the Samoa Joe match I also think was unnecessary. But the damn main event just stole the show. For me, it was on par with the tag team title match against BCG. The tag team matches in the beginning were pretty good, seven or six points, they weren't bad"
[6.0] "Despite everything, show was fine. Think always slotting 2 quarters for the main event seems egregious since Punk has difficultly working good matches that long, but it sort of worked this week. Womens tag also rocked as well as the Acclaimed one being a welcome surprise since the Iron Savages showed up. Also was happy to see Andrew Everett. Really enjoyed the Bang Bang Gang taking shots at the Elite. Promos this week not necessarily a fan of. Not sure what Ricky is doing but I became largely uninterested. Hobbs feels like hes gone back SEVERAL steps back and I have lost so much interest in Miro since Full Gear 2021. That Christian TNT segment with Brock just well at least it hinted at the potential Adam Copeland may be on his way, but this kind of thing just doesnt excite me. The Toni and Joe promos were actually nice too. Not sure what to end this on other than this show still doesnt need to revolve around one guy and hope future ones emphasize him way less."
[9.0] "Very good episode of Collision, especially when you make comparisons within-AEW. There is a sense of week-to-week developments, with the same cast of characters evolving, not random people popping in and out (in the main roles, not the jobbers). One thing I enjoy especially is the use of jobbers in squashes: use people that look ok physically to enhance the credibility of the main guys. No need for the stars to go toe-to-toe with "jabronis", like it happens on WWE sometimes or Dynamite often. Ricky is great, and it shows how people can develop characters once they get TIME on tv. The main event was great, love the new HoB, which is more fight and brawl than cheap cosplay. More Collision please, and more Joe! ."
[5.0] "Yeah, I'm still a Dynamite guy. Mostly mediocre nonsense squash matches except for the main event and the women's tag match, accompanied by a lot of talking. Ricky's promo was good. That's about it for promos. Forgettable and mediocre. Dynamite >>>>>>>> Collision."
[4.0] "The last episode of Collision I plan to watch until the featured roster expands and the show drags less. Way too much talking in this episode, and way too little wrestling. Most of the matches were Rampage level booking, although the ladies match was better than expected. Nice to see they're finally doing something with Hobbs. Brock Anderson is the blandest wrestler on the AEW roster, I don't need to see him at all. Once again the main event is nearly half an hour and features CM Punk. Bored of Punk riding the line of heel/face/whatever, I'm tapping out for now."
[8.0] "I attended this show in Greensboro and I thought it was an excellent edition of Collision. For a show to be promo-heavy yet the crowd be invested throughout is a testament to the shows quality in my opinion. The show starting out with Starks cutting a career best promo, he had the crowd pretty much in the palm of his hands. At the get go I wasnt sold on Acclaimed vs Iron Savages. However, I was quite invested by the conclusion of the match, much better than I thought it would be. Christian Cage singling out Darby was great, setting up the match between him and Darby next week and for the title at All Out. I wasnt a huge fan of the Anderson antics and the proceeding match which was probably the low point of the show for me. Hobbs cut a great promo. It was nice to see him have some solo time on the mic and let him shine a bit, not to mention it set up him snd Miro. The womens tag was also great. Both Willow and Statlander came across as stars even with the L. The main event was fantastic, crescendoing to a fantastic final stretch with the incorporation of the Joe storyline. I thought this was a great week of TV and another great episode of Collision."
[8.0] "Thought the show was enjoyable. The promos were all good. Enjoyed the things they're setting up for the future like Punk-Joe and Miro-Hobbs. The main event was great and got a lot of time as is usual for Collision. I'm looking forward to Darby vs. Christian next week as well."
[3.0] "This was the worst Collision Episode yet. The show kicked off hot with Ricky Starks cutting a great promo and now he's suspended for 30 days but he has a manager license so we see what he does next. The Acclaim vs The Iron Savages it was cool to see The Iron Savages they mostly on Ring of Honor but it was a competitive match and at the end Max Caster talked about Billy Gunn. Martinez and Diamante beat Willow and the TBS Champion Kris Statlander when Martinez got a little help from Diamante when she used her legs to help out Martinez secure the win. The rest of the matches on the show beside the main event wasn't anything special no offense to Brock Anderson but why was he on the show? The Main Event was solid it went on for 20+ minutes with The House of Black's retaining which was the right decision. Overall not a good show hopefully this is just a fluke episode and they can get back to producing good episodes like they usually do for Collision."
[4.0] "A largely very forgettable show if not for the main event match which had an unsatisfactory ending. The Willow tag was also solid. Some decent set up for All In and future shows but so many things in this company feel very cold to me right now going into their biggest show they have ever done. Im not sure what it is that people see in t Collision compared to Dynamite either but both feel very similar to me complete with distraction finishes, an AEW favorite trope throughout much of their run over the years."
[3.0] "Zzzzzzzzz.... What an absolute boring ass show, I gave this week's Dynamite the same rating (I was honestly probably being a bit generous there...), but Collision was bad for different reasons. The primary problem was there was soooooo much talking. Usually when I watch AEW television, I look at the clock and am amazed at how time has flown by. Tonight, I looked at the clock and was shocked at how slow time was moving. I like competitive, good wrestling on my wrestling show - how about that? All the matches before the main event were PITIFUL. Complete garbage, waste of time wrestling. The women's match STUNK and everything else were squashes. The main event had fun moments, but I was a bit let down. Also, the production missed the finish... again. I have no clue what AEW have been doing lately, but they have to change things QUICK....Did I mention this show was boring?"
