[7.0] "Very fun show, and if not for the main even which I found a little lackluster it could have been great. The Jr tag was top notch stuff. 7.5/10"

[7.0] "Good show, with some lows, but lots of highs. The Women Tag match were nice. Both Tag Titles match were really good, especially the second one. And the Main Event brought out the violence these four men love."

[8.0] "Great show all around with everything aside from the preshow match being really good or at least really entertaining. Most of the matches on the show were meant to build to the show on the following night but, it didn't make this event feel like filler. Korakuen hall did a great job elevating the atmosphere for the entirety of the show unlike any other venue. I love the random match combination that are always on STRONG show that are great to put onto shows but don't fit into the regular tour schedule of NJPW"

[6.0] "A mostly solid show that largely served as setup for night 2. The two BC War Dogs teams respectively claiming the STRONG Openweight and IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Titles represented the best of it, with Lawlor vs. Fujita being the best of the remaining undercard and the rest being fine but mostly unremarkable bouts that in many cases, such as the women's tag or King/Rocky vs. KENTA/Gedo largely existing to continue setting up for the participants' matches the following night. The much-talked-about main event will certainly hold appeal for many, but didn't really do it for me - since it was once again largely meant to set up for Mox vs. Despy the next night, the stakes here were IMO not really high enough to justify the level of violence, and a lot of the structure came down to just trading sick spots. I guess I'm just not the right audience for it. Overall the show was an OK effort."

[8.0] "A very nice showing for NJPW Strong in Japan here, and a telling demonstration of how much poor production can bring down an event. With New Japan proper's camera work and production, Strong feels far more important and is much more engaging. Jun Kasai's NJPW debut was a great moment and the crowd (who had already been into most of the card) really came alive. Hearing "holy shit" and "this is awesome" chants in a Japanese arena was a nice touch. Outside of the last few matches there was nothing spectacular yet nothing terrible. A lot of this card's purpose was to build up energy for the following day and it did that very well."

[9.0] "Fantastic show, most matches were great, there was only one match on the whole show that I did not think was that good. Pre-Show Six Man Tag Team Match: Really good match for the pre-show, YOH was the MVP of the match, Oskar Leube proved that he can hang with anyone in the ring despite only being a young lion, some good comedy moments as well to make a well all rounded match (***1/4). Bad Dude Tito vs The DKC: Great back and forth match, despite Bad Dude Tito having a separated shoulder, he still looked good and also made The DKC look like a strong compelling opponent (***). Team Filthy vs Alex Zayne, Lance Archer and Ryohei Oiwa: An enjoyable six man tag team match with some cool moments, Lance Archer and Kratos's moments in the ring together made for an interesting watch and maybe hopefully they get a singles match down the road, Kratos also spilling blood in the match was interesting and made for a compelling match (***1/2). Kosei Fujita vs Tom Lawlor: Enjoyable back and forth match, Kosei Fujita looked great against a tough fighter in Lawlor. The knee strikes to end the match were brutal looking (**3/4). Eddie Kingston and Rocky Romero vs Gedo and KENTA: A decent preview tag team match for the Eddie Kingston vs KENTA match, Eddie Kingston picking up the win for his team and gaining momentum for his title match was great to see (***1/4). Thekla and Giulia vs Momo Kohgo and Willow Nightingale: A fun preview match for Giulia vs Willow Nightingale, all four women within the match looked great and Willow picking up the win was cool (***1/4). BULLET CLUB War Dogs vs Bishamon: Was the only match on the show that I did not enjoy that much, as the shenanigans in the first half of the match made it not that compelling as BC War Dogs as potential new champions, and the result was not the right choice (**). Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney vs Catch 22: The first part where they brawled through the crowd was okay but once the bell rang, the action was intense and great, enjoyed it, towards the end had me on the edge of my seat (****1/4). Doomsday No DQ Tag Match: MOTN in the my opinion, while there were times I had to look away because of the brutal moments, other brutal moments had me loving this match, cant wait for the Final Death Match between Jon Moxley and El Desperado (****1/2)"

[8.0] "Enjoyable and fun show with a great crowd. It was nice seeing some of the NJPW Strong talents get a chance to showcase themselves in Japan. This show also did a good job at putting over Bullet Club and their new members. It ended with a very good main event."

[9.0] "A very fun show where the crowd helped create a fantastic atmosphere. The final three matches were great and the undercard helped set a bunch up for tomorrow. The Doomsday No DQ match was exactly what I hoped and Im glad Desperado/Kasai got the win. The Jr Tag and STRONG Tag title matches were a blast and each offered something different. BULLET CLUB War Dogs have become a must-see group."
