[6.0] "Collision bleibt die CM Punk Show und man umrahmt hier das Event schön mit einer Promo am Anfang und dem Tag Team Match später. Der Main Event war dann gut, mit einem starken Storytelling aller Beteiligten. Jedoch einige Minuten zu lang."
[6.0] "Wie schon in der Woche zuvor, werden die wichtigen Matches mit kurzen Skits vorgestellt, was mir sehr gut gefällt. Collision beginnt mit einem richtig guten In-Ring Segment mit Ricky Starks, der zeigt, wie fantastisch er am Mikro sein kann. Natürlich kommt Punk dazu und ist noch nicht fertig mit Starks, das war alles sehr unterhaltsam. Natürlich muss Christian Cage auf herrliche Art und weise seinen Senf dazu geben, was Darby auf den Plan ruft. Nach einem passablen Segment mit Andrade gibt es den Opener der Show. BCG besiegen Darius Martin und Andretti in einem sehr ordentlichen Match. Auch wenn Juice und Jay White 2 Gänge zurückgeschaltet haben im Vergleich zu ihrem Match mit FTR, waren sie hier immer noch das bessere Team. Miro bekommt noch vor dem Match von Comoroto eins auf die Mütze, macht dann aber trotzdem sehr kurzen Prozess im Ring mit ihm. Das HoB kann dann The Acclaimed überraschend schnell besiegen, was aber absolut in Ordnung ist, da das offensichtlich große Storyrelevanz haben wird, beginnend mit Billy Gunn's vermeintlichem Karriereende. Im Anschluss gibt es eine okaye In-Ring Promo von FTR, das haben sie in der Vergangenheit schon mal besser abgeliefert. Auf dem schlechtesten Spot der Show gibt es natürlich das Damenmatch. Valkyrie vs. Skye Blue war passabel. Skye gibt sich wirklich Mühe, Valkyrie kommt weiterhin nicht bei mir an. Tayas In-Ring Promo an sich war auch sehr schwach. Der Main Event hätte richtig stark sein können, war mir aber dann doch etwas zu lange, für das was es sein sollte. Gut war das Match am Ende trotzdem."
"This was the first show i ever attended after being a wrestling fan my whole life and let me tell you, the crowd in this arena made it all worth it. The main event in particular was a fantastic demonstration of a classic wrestling match, with fantastic heel work from Christian as he would get us sitting ringside riled up to get the crowd involved."
[6.0] "Diese Show fühlte sich an wie eine unwichtigere Ausgabe von SmackDown. Die größten Stars werden am Anfang und am Ende eingesetzt und legen in einem Gesprächssegment zu Beginn das Main Event Tag Match fest. Das Match war dann auch einigermaßen in Ordnung, wobei Punk, der mit den ihn ausbuhenden Fans herumalbert, sehr unterhaltsam war. Drumherum war nichts wirklich denkwürdig."
[5.0] "Die Collision Folge hat mich persönlich leider so gar nicht abgeholt. Mir gefällt die Dynamik der Show einfach überhaupt nicht. Der Opener war dann ein solides Tag Team Match zwischen beiden Teams. Da kann man nicht viel meckern. War in Ordnung. Miro gegen Comoroto war dann halt da, brachte jetzt keinen weiter. Mein MOTN war dann tatsächlich das Trios Titel Match. Die Matchstory war gut auf den Punkt gebracht. Die Champions waren präsent, haben ihre Gegner straight umgehauen. Das passte einfach sehr gut. Mir hat das Storytelling hier gefallen. Valkyrie gegen Blue war ganz in Ordnung. Solides Match der beiden. Der Main Event hat mich gar nicht abgeholt. Viel zu lang, Punk überhaupt nicht in Form und wirkt wie ein Fremdkörper. Die Matchstory gefällt mir nicht. Einfach alles an dem Match hat das wiedergespiegelt was bei Collision für mich falsch läuft. Im Grunde war das Match sicherlich ganz ok aber mir hat es halt überhaupt nicht gefallen."
"This was solid story-telling episode with the Billy Gunn retirement angle, as well as the impromptu main event which continued the Starks/Punk feud. There was also some solid ringwork in both of the tag matches (especially from Jay White and Darby Allin). Unfortunately, the matches and promos never really delivered in meeting the crowd's energy (which was a big crowd by Collision standards). The women's match, in particular, felt rote and over-rehearsed. The lone exceptions to the low-energy vibe were Starks' huge, theatrical entrance and Christian's comic delivery of lines like, "What kind of man carries around a championship he didn't win? ""
[5.0] "Eine komplett Solide AEW Collision Ausgabe wie Ich finde. Opener war ein Gutes Tag Team Match. Action Andretti und Darius Martin, arbeiten wirklich gut zusammen in momentaner Konstellation. Das hier natürlich der Bullet Club Gold gewinnt und weiter gepusht wird, war zu erwarten. Andretti und Martin tut die Niederlage jetzt auch nicht so besonders weh (***1/2). Miro wird danach weiterhin aufgebaut und Das House Of Black hat ein kurzes Match gegen The Acclaimed und Daddy Ass. Billy Gunn zieht am Ende seine Stiefel aus was auf ein Karriere Ende hindeuten mag. Taya Valkyrie vs. Skye Blue war Schwach. Uninteressantes Match leider. Der Main Event war das beste Match dieser Collision Ausgabe. Schönes intensives Tag Team Match, was Starks und Christian am Ende für sich entscheiden können, weil Starks wiedermal Cheated. Bin gespannt wie das weitergehen wird (***3/4). Insgesamt waren es dann noch Solide Prmos gewesen, die die Show noch etwas aufwertet. 5 Punkte."
[8.0] "Excellent show, everything was interesting... the pace was good, it had great builds and developments. One of the best-booked shows I've had the privilege to watch in recent history, people only hated this because it looked like an phenomenal early 2010's WWE weekly show, it's a shame."
[7.0] "Good booking to open with Ricky Starks to capitalise on his win last week and he started off with a very good promo. Punk getting involved might not have seemed needed at first but it foreshadowed a future title match and I'd like that. Then Christian and Darby got involved and we got a tag team match playa in one of the most WWE segments we've seen from AEW but it sets up a main event with four guys that are all interesting so I'll live with it. BCG then get a win to get back on the horse but they give way too much shine to the babyfaces. Miro then takes on the biggest jobber I've ever seen and a cute jump to make it a bit more interesting, but Miro wins quick nevertheless and this is a good way to build him as the crowd lap it up. HoB are starting to finally look impressive but not sure why they had to bury The Acclaimed in the process. Unless they think this Billy Gunn boots angle is a way to fire them back up again? Good promo from Cash to put over the match and opponents next week, and Dax doubles down on FTR's toughness to put themselves over so the segment did a great job without any fluff. The women's match was fairly forgettable and didn't serve to get Taya over as much as it should have. Her promo was ok. And the main event was a great match with great babyface and heel work. Another good episode of Collision that just flies past despite a couple of lower points this week compared to last."
[6.0] "Fühlte mich im Eröffnungssegment etwas an die WWE Weeklys erinnert mit dem Labersegment, welches den Main Event aufbaut. Hat hier gepasst durch das follow-up von Punk und Starks, Segment war auch an sich ganz ordentlich, jede Woche brauche ich das aber nicht. Das erste Match fand ich sehr unterhaltsam und den Main Event ganz nett aber zu lang. Bei Miro würde ich mir wünschen, dass er noch eine Story bekommt, da er definitiv over ist. Taya vs. Sky Blue war auch ganz nett. Allgemein etwas kürzere Matches aber die Ausgabe hatte einen guten Flow, wie ich finde und ging gut weg."
[7.0] "Action Andretti & Darius Martin vs. Jay White & Juice Robinson war insgesamt ein gutes Tag Team Match. Ich finde die beiden Teams hatten Chemie und es war ein guter Mix aus Schnelligkeit und dem Bulletclub der das Tempo was rausgenommen hat (*** 1/2). Skye Blue vs. Taya Valkyrie war das klassische Weekly Frauen Match. Hauptsächlich komplett irrelevant und langweilig. Blue hat mir ganz gut gefallen, Taya eher weniger (** 1/2). Christian Cage & Ricky Starks vs. CM Punk & Darby Allin war ein gutes Main Event. Vor allem die Schlussphase war sehr stark und hatte gute near falls. das Finish trägt gut zur Story bei (****)."
[6.0] "Definitely the weakest episode of Collision so far. I struggled to make it through the whole episode, kept nearly falling asleep but in ring was solid as ever"
[5.0] "This was an alright show that was hurt quite a bit by the almost dead silent. They must've flown a lot of people from Corpus Christi, because they absolutely sucked the energy out of that room."
[7.0] "A okay to pretty good show up until the main event, although it wasnt as good as FTR/BC Gold, but this match was fantastic, really good action, storytelling, and a great finish, Ricky Starks and Darby are money in the ring together, Christian is still gold on the mic and here he showed he still great in the ring. And Punk is great with one of the most intriguing crowd reactions, a really good main event, even though Im clearly only interested in the main event the show flew by and was paced well as Collision has been compared to Dynamite."
[4.0] "This is the most nothing-burger I've seen out of AEW thus far in my year of watching. The matches all felt like chores to get through, and the promos didn't help either. This just felt like an episode of RAW smack-dab in the middle of the PG era."
[8.0] "Thought it was a solid episode. Solidified Starks as a major player thanks to those pyros. Won a very good main event which pushed this storyline forward with Punk. Other major highlight was Daddy Ass hanging his boots. A very emotional moment if you grew up during the Attitude Era. Looking forward to where The Acclaimed are heading next."
[5.0] "Crowd made parts of this nearly unwatchable. Collision needs a bigger roster. Collision has allowed Dynamite some relief from the roster bloat, but Collision is noticeably light on featured performers. The handful of promo and match segments each episode are unnecessarily padded for time causing drag, while guys like Hobbs work dark matches and Miro gets yet another squash. Not every main event needs half an hour. The promos were a mixed bag. Ricky and Christian were highlights, but the opening promo train was too much. The FTR promo was fine from Cash, but cringe from Dax. He seems genuinely afraid that the crowd may ever boo them again, and so his promo waffled between trying to build heat between FTR and MJF/Cole, but walking back anything too negative and going No no! We like them too! anytime he started getting booed. Just weird stuff. Matches were all satisfactory, if too long in the main."
[6.0] "Wasnt expecting this one to be that great considering the past couple weeks have been insane. Still a solid show but storylines building. Doesnt compare to Blood and Guts though. Dynamite 4 Collision 2"
[8.0] "Besides both Tag Team Matches, The Other Cards Also Seems Amazing But wasn't that I want, Overall I Enjoy The Main Event Match and because of that I rate this Episode Good."
[4.0] "I guess Collision is for people who loved 2011 WWE and then never evolved with the rest of wrestling world. Opening 20 min promo, an overlong random tag match main event. Punk. Im taking it off the dvr schedule, its now in parachute status going forward."
[8.0] "Matches were solid. Nothing special but solid. But certainly the lowest quality of wrestling out of all the Collision episodes thus far. I didn't like Acclaimed essentially getting squashed and the post match stuff with Bully Gunn was weird. Really enjoyed the opening segment and Christian saying "what kind of mean carries a belt he didn't win" had me rolling.Good bit of storyline advancement, which is something that's often lacking on Dynamite."
[9.0] "I Expected so much less of this show, it overdelivered a sensational program the BCG & Miro were great, i just wish comoroto and miro would got like 20 minutes to show off, but it was good and watchable, the main event was on the spot as well everything was interesting."
[7.0] "Good show, matches were fine save for a quite good main event and story lines were built on and advanced. Starks getting a bigger platform is nice to see, and the heel turn taps more into his charisma so Im fine with it if it means more mic and screen time for him."
[5.0] "This was an average show at best this show was very lackluster and was really boring the only good thing was the main event which was a pretty good match the rest is very forgettable."
[5.0] "Ian being there makes things a little easier but damn I dont think this is promising for a show. Not a huge fan of booker makes the main event out of what was said in the opening promo thing. Fine when its announced for a week or two later or the PPV but day off will always feel weird. Crowd despite its size also sucked. Many were uninterested, tried to get themselves over, wanted to irritate the wrestlers and a whole bunch of other stuff. Also still not a big fan of the FTR promo or the Andrade stuff or the Miro stuff. Doesnt interest me. What I did like was the womens match (good not great and sluggish at times) , the tag match and the result of the trios being Billy Gunn contemplating retirement. There was also good elements in the main event but I am disliking how much time the main event gets. Two whole quarters pretty regularly and it had as many questionable moments in there as good, regardless of the crowd being very odd at that time. I was waiting to see how Collision would feel after the Canada tour and if this is how it will be I may just drop watching it at some point. The format isnt for me and even if the matches are decent or sometimes even great like the 2/3 falls, it just feels less enjoyable as compared to Dynamite as well as of other shows/promotions I enjoy."
[7.0] "Decent episode, not close to the level of last week, though. I continue to enjoy the Nigel/Riccaboni pairing, which brings freshness and an air of excitement even to the less exciting matches. Speaking of which, outside of the good main event there was nothing particularly worth watching for the match quality, but there were some promising storyline developments and groundwork being laid for future stories."

[5.0] "Not sure what went wrong here after the last few Collisions, but this was an underwhelming episode, with only 3 full length matches and none of them being great. There's no need to open the show with long promos - it was 20 minutes before the first wrestlers started coming to the ring - and there should have been more actual wrestling. CM Punk still isn't the one to carry a show, and doesn't need to open and close it."
[6.0] "The weakest Collision so far but overall a decent show: the opening segment was pretty cool, Wwe style of segment that led a match later in the night. Bullet Club Gold vs. Andretti & Martin was fine. Miro's squashes are always pretty entertaining but I hope they can start making him really do something. HOB vs. Acclaimed was alright, loved the post-match with Billy Gunn's retirement, very heartwarming moment although I think he hasn't really retired. Blue vs. Valkyrie was just there. Starks & Christian vs. Punk & Allin didn't have to be 25 minutes long but overall it was a nice match, well wrestled and with a couple of great exchanges near the end between Starks and Allin."
[7.0] "A bit of a cool down episode after last week's excellent episode, with a lot of build to next week. Solid opening promo segment to build up the main event, and some good support stuff throughout. Is Billy Gunn really retiring, or is this a ploy from the House of Black? Cash Wheeler did a good promo for next week's main event, Dax Harwood less so."
[6.0] "The worst Collision so far. Low points, for me, were the trios title match and FTR's garbage promo. Neither of those guys have shown, to me, that they can be compelling on the mic without mentioning a family member. Not to mention the basis of the promo was stupid. Bald was mad that Adam Cole and MJF have fun and are extremely charismatic? Basically pointing out his weaknesses as a pro wrestler. Main event was really good and the women's match was solid."

Der Main Event war ganz gut mit einem guten Finish, um Ricky weiter als Heel zu positionieren, was beim Anfangssequenz nach der letzten Woche nicht geklappt hat, da Punk nicht als Face anerkannt wurde und seinerseits die Heel Reaktionen auf sich zog. Das kann noch zu einem Problem für den Heel Turn von Ricky werden, weshalb es letzte Woche vllt. besser gewesen wäre, wenn man den beiden die umgedrehten Rollen gegeben hätte. Mal sehen, ob es nächste Woche nun klappen wird. Taya gegen Skye Blue fand ich solide. Das Tag Team Match war auch solide. FTR ganz gut. Interessant war das Aftermath nach dem Trios Championship Match, welches leider kurz war. Aber nun ist Spannung bei The Acclaimed und Billy Gunn drinnen. Miro durfte auch ran und kurzen Prozess mit Nick Comoroto machen. Miro braucht eine Fehde, ansonsten brauch man ihn so nicht weiter in den Shows. Im Endeffekt merkte man, dass es eine Übergangsfolge war, um neue Fehden und Storys zu beginnen."
[6.0] "this show was fine. thought the opening segment was pretty cool, ricky comes off like a big deal, and im glad hes making a name for himself. the opening tag was fine, i still dislike andretti, but white and juice have continued to be top players, they really should be the next tag champs. miro squash was cool, hes a good squash wrestler, would like to see him actually do something tho. the billy gunn retirement match was weirdly heartwarming, but i really doubt he actually retires so idk why he would do it. womens match was whatever, ive kinda realized they just love taya for no reason and are gonna keep giving her wins, lose the title shot, rinse and repeat. main event didnt really need to go 25 imo, but it was still definitely motn and a very good match. darby had a great performance as always, and they seem to really like starks as the face of collision. decent enough show ig, nothing really earth shattering, next week looks really good tho."
[4.0] "Ein ewig langes Eröffnungssegment das den Main Event festsetzt, wie man es von WWE kennt, nur das hier fast jeder ausgebuht wird. AEW merkwürdige Entscheidung Punk Face zu lassen und Starks Heel zu turnen schadet der Show massiv. Starks Heel Turn von letzter Woche wird komplett untergraben und selbst ein Team mit Christian. Der Mittelteil der Show überzeugt leider auch nicht. BCG vs. Action Andretti & Darius Martin war noch das beste Match der Show. Ich hoffe das hier war nur ein Durchhänger und nicht der Standard für Collision."
[9.0] "Great episode. Someone below said this did not feel like AEW, like Dynamite. That is precisely why some of us are watching, because we want a real alternative to WWE (which is great right now, but not really wrestling). I do not want to see PWG with a budget. Punk , Christian, Starks, Miro, Hobbs, Juice, White, people that look like real men, not children, having real fights, not blood and furniture extravaganzas. Sure, the word describe Collision is not "dope", it's serious. The setup for the main event was great, the main event was a perfectly fine TV match. FTR are great promos, but probably some feel bad that they do not explode their shoes too often. The Acclaimed are in a good story, and I like the tamed-down presentation of HoB on Collision. Keep on the good pace."
