[8.0] "Another fun show from ECW at peak chaotic fun. Taz massacres someone, Raven and Dreamer have another bloody fight, Foley wants to wrestle under "Olympic Rules" and is just amazing at trolling these fans, then Sabu smashes all over him."

[5.0] "Holiday Hell is a really mixed bag in matches. Majority of them are under 5 minutes in length and there was a lot of time used that involved Raven's Nest shenanigans. The only matches worth watching is Whipwreck vs. Scorpio and Cactus vs. Sabu. Everything else is either bad or subpar."

[4.0] "Overall this show just wasn't anything special, it felt really average and skippable. There were some pretty solid things here so this event wasn't completely terrible, though most of the stuff was just lackluster. None of the matches were must-see."

[5.0] "The usual mixed bag from ECW, with the added issue that Steve Austin and the Heavenly Bodies were booked to appear but signed to WWF before the show, meaning that two potentially interesting matches turned into mindless brawls. For the most part the stories and promos are at least as good as the wrestling, but there's little here that's awful. It's about as average an ECW show as I can think of."
