[6.0] "The fact this was pre-taped makes this go-home show so weak (but even if it was live, I'm sure it would still be weak). The worst thing of the show were the fake crowd reactions, and I'm so bad at caughting them, so imagine how noticeable they were. LA Knight entering with cheers and, all of a sudden, a whole chorus of boos. So bad edited. Best match of the night was the US Title Match, which should've happened at the PPV. Some random matches in between and the Women's Tag Match that were nothing remarkable. And the true highlight of the night, the KO Show. The Bloodline story regains the importance and the quality level it was missing after WrestleMania. Amazing segment to end the show and sell the actual Main Event of the PPV."
[5.0] "We had a pretty blah show heading into Night of Champions. The fake crowd noise was incredibly noticeable (which always hurts the show's quality) and a lot of the show felt unnecessary. Do we really need a Grimes/Corbin feud? Why does Karrion Kross keep making nonsense backstage promos that lead to nothing? He's turning into pre-Fiend Bray Wyatt: all bark and no bite. The women's tag match had a terrible finish and the Knight/Boogs match needed some more time, but I enjoyed the opening contest. As for the Bloodline, they continue to easily be the best part of Smackdown."
[8.0] "A good pre-PLE SmackDown. Brawlings Brutes vs Pretty Deadly may well accompany the rivalry to build a Sheamus vs Austin rematch. I didn't quite understand the women's tag finish and the match is anecdotal. Kross did Kross and allows Styles to win before his PLE match. Little impact. But we finish on a high note with this good Bloodline segment, which will have magnified a show that also gave momentum to Cameron Grimes and LA Knight. Too bad for Boogs, who deserves better for his comeback in my opinion. 7.5/10"
[5.0] "I was wondering when bookers stop working on stories that have been going on for months before WrestleMania and start writing new ones. Maybe building the feud between Shemus and Theory I don't know, this situation is starting to tire me. This episode, apart from the last amazing segment, was boring and I don't have much more to say."
[6.0] "For almost the entire issue, I thought that this was another weak passer. But still, the final segment made me change my mind, because it was very good. I really liked the finale, but everything else in the issue was rather controversial and specific, I hope new and interesting stories will begin next week."
[5.0] "Decent show, Sheamus vs Theory was a good opener, Women's tag match was alright but had a bad ending, Grimes vs Adonis was just a squash match, LA Knight vs Boogs was way too short, Styles vs Kross was a somewhat good match but not that exciting. Overall just a meh show."
[5.0] "Same thing as the last few weeks : good opener, great main event segment, but everything in between is very mid. And since it was a pretaped episode they went absolutely crazy with the fake crowd noises it was just ridiculous and it dragged the show down. Almost felt like the thunderdome era"
[7.0] "Great show before a massive ppv, there wasnt much great wrestling but there was a great build up to clash of champions and the show made me hype up for some of the matches."
[7.0] "Not a great show -- But LA KNIGHT was on it so that keeps it out of the unsatisfactory category. Screwjob finish in the Theory vs. Sheamus match when there was interference from Pretty Deadly and Theory won with a rollup. We have seen a lot of such endings and they either need to think of some other way for these matches to end or just have one of the wrestlers lose cleaner. I am not sure why Shotzi and Raquel are teaming -- or why they are being presented as faces. Grimes vs.Adonis was a throwaway. LA Knight seemingly has a story that is continuing from week to week which is good to see -- last week he tagged with Boogs and turned on him. This week they fight. It was quick but Knight hit his finish and cut a great promo on the Street Profits who were on commentary. Karrion Kross looked like a badass initially, but I am not sure what is going on with him. Styles got a win to build momentum for his match at the PLE on Saturday. A lot of build up for the World Tag Team Championship match between Sammy/KO and Reigns/Solo Sikoa. A promo for that match headlined the show. This is a 2 hour show -- which if you take out 40 mins for commercials leaves 80 minutes of programming. I would like to see more than 30 mins of wrestling out of those 80 minutes. 7 / 10"
