[9.0] "Very fun show. Eliminators have a good match with the Pitbulls as they get settled with the company. Rey and Psicosis tear the house down. 2 Cold does some cool stuff, we get a ridiculously fun fight between Fonzie and Tod Gordon which ends with Taz turning heel and aligning with Fonzie. Austin ambushes Sandman in a famous shot and has a great short match with Mikey. Sabu returns and has a really good match with Hack, of all people. And the crazy bloody main event... yeah, this has tons of good stuff."

[4.0] "There was the beginnings of one Buh Buh Ray Dudley, Konnan appeared shortly and Steve Austin actually had a match here. So there absolutely was some solid stuff on this show but also lots of uninspiring things. All in all this event was nothing special."

[6.0] "The show starts with a series of pointless squashes and a pretty dull brawl, but from the Mexican Death Match onwards starts to get pretty good, with a variety of brawling, great wrestling, comedy, surprises and storyline advancement. And, of course, Taz exposing the business by talking about Paul Heyman! This isn't the best show you'll ever see, but the second half is genuinely exciting and shows what could be done with hardcore wrestling at this point."
