He and all the main eventers put on a violent spectacle that you're only going to see in REVOLVER. Even if everything doesn't hit, Shelley, Crist, and Mox have such great acts now that you'll always get a legitimate high point on any of these shows."

The parts of the main event that made the broadcast were a hell of a lot of fun and Alex Colon put his uninspired return to wrestling at XPW behind him with a show stealing match against Crazy King. There wasn't too much new in the MCMG vs. Austin/Bey match but the work was really solid. Jake Crist winning the world title in his best friends promotion after losing pretty much every match he's had there in the last year felt pretty hollow but I still enjoyed Maclin's performance in the match. Everything else is pretty skippable."
"Show was good in itself, solid wrestling from top to bottom, no complaints. The massive problem with this show, and unfortunately almost every other indie show in America, is that the production values were absolutely terrible. I don't understand why the bar is so low for stuff like this in general. At times the announcers sounded so loud I thought my speakers would burst, and when they weren't speaking the obviously rabid crowd sounded like a church potluck. And god help you if you want to understand anything anyone is saying on a microphone. Match graphics and chyrons kept popping up at the wrong time, one match graphic read "Robert Martyr vs. Alan Angles". ALAN ANGLES. They had a pre-taped Crazy King promo that was so quiet I thought it was muted promoting his match with Alex Colon.... after his match with Alex Colon had already happened. It's honestly embarrassing. This is easily a top-ten promotion in the United States right now but it has worse production than my one of local feds that's literally in the promoter/wrestler's backyard. Maybe Sami Callihan could not book one of his friends for a show and hire a sound engineer instead? Or maybe I'm just crazy?"
