[8.0] "It wasn't the best pay per view I've ever seen, but it was a very good Impact show. Good to see MCMG claim the gold."

[7.0] "Mostly solid, with some good matches in Shelley vs. Maclin, the oVe vs. Design harcore six-man and Sabin vs. Miguel as particular highlights. The 8-4-1 match was an interesting format with solid work as well. Kaz vs. Edwards, ABC vs. Good Hands and, on the pre-show, Hendry vs. Dango were solid as well. Somewhat surprisingly, the usually strong women's division had something of an off night; Kelly and Slamovich didn't click with their dog collar stipulation, while the women's tag came off as an average filler match and the King vs. Nevaeh pre-show bout was rather weak. The title booking is certainly interesting; while I'm not sure I'd have made the call to take the belt off Maclin already, it's cool to see Shelley get his well-deserved World Title (Goldylocks' Baby Bear finally won the big one! ), and with Sabin winning the X-Division belt, there's the interesting possibility - assuming Shelley retains against Aldis - of Sabin cashing in Option C for an MCMG World Title bout (I'd also have Shelley win there, and then maybe drop the belt back to Maclin in time for Josh Alexander to return to do him vs. Maclin)."

[9.0] "Pleasant first match, it could have been a little better but perhaps because of their age, they no longer give the same performance as before; beautiful match from Good Hands, Bey and Austin, an example of a starting match in pairs; The dog collar match with Slamovich and Killer Kelly could have been better, even if I liked that ending as they are considering being a Tag-Team, it wasn't a purely Wrestling match, but it's not a despicable match to watch either, it's entertaining , but it leaves something to be desired in terms of Wrestling; Fabulous and excellent match for the X Division Championship from Trey Miguel and Chris Sabin, totally recommendable; I found the 8-4-1 match fabulous, fun, memorable, entertaining and with its due touch of realism and also added the corresponding rivalries, there were also beautiful references, a totally recommendable match for any fan; The match between Trinity, Purrazzo, Evans and Shaw was a waste of time, let's hope this changes soon, even when the match is over, people seemed very dull, it's really a shame; excellent hardcore match from OVE and Design; a great moment for MCMG, excellent stellar match, very good PPV, I just think the pre-show and the match with Purrazzo, Evans, Shaw and Trinity failed, hence all the matches were very good and well founded."

[8.0] "The only reason it's not one of the Great shows for them lately is they've had such great shows so this one was just Very good overall with an excellent main event. Build up a lot like Under Siege: opens with 2 veterans putting on a good match and closed with a great main event except this was a great wrestling match and not the bloody, chaotic brawl like US."

[8.0] "I've seen a few people question why IMPACT soured on Maclin; they didn't sour on the guy. Maclin's story is intertwined with Josh, while Shelley is almost universally acclaimed as an underrated and influential wrestler who deserves a World Title run. Sabin winning the X-Division Title earlier in the night really made me think they'd do the Shelley title change, and they did. Aldis and Shelley is a much more attractive main event than Aldis and Maclin, and seeing both Machine Guns put on classic singles title defences for the summer definitely has my interest. Maclin can go even more psycho and get inserted back into the title mix when Josh is back. This was a great move, and shows that in America at least, IMPACT has the best booking overall. Watch both Machine Gun matches if you're crunched for time."

[6.0] "The show was good. Nothing extraordinary except the main event with the unexpected winner. Favorite match was the tag title match between The Good Hands and ABC. The dog collar match was interesting at the end. I wanna see if Masha and Kelly become a tag team now since the women's tag division is lacking."

[8.0] "(LIVE) Ever since Alexander's reign started Impact has been a company with consistently good to great main events and Against All Odds is no different with one of the best wrestlers of the last 20+ years earning a career moment in an exceptional match. This card had a pretty good mix of fun bulllshit and good wrestling (the crowd popped were split about 60% for being from Ohio, 30% for fun bullshit, and 10% for good wrestling) and most matches overdelivered with the exception of the dog-collar match. Not a great venue, I'd rather they come back to their usual spots in Louisville or Cincinnati if they work the area again."

[8.0] "This year's Against All Odds will be remembered for Alex Shelley finally becoming the Impact World Champion after nearly two decades with the promotion, with Chris Sabin also winning a title. The rest was simply a better Impact than usual, mostly setup for Slammiversary next month."

[8.0] "Not the best special show for Impact Wrestling, we have to say it. But the main event itself is able to make you remember this AOO forever. 7.5. overall."
