[7.0] "One of the best TV shows of the year in WWE, at least when it comes to strictly wrestling. Stories and segments didn't stand out, but all matches were either solid or nearly great. Gunther vs Woods was the match of the night, and another incredible defense of Gunther's legendary title reign (that's a real legendary reign, not like Roman's). Women's Tag Title match was short but incredibly solid, the opener was so much fun, Raiders vs Ricochet and Strowman was slightly above average and the Main Event was a great No DQ match for TV standards. Good matches and just two hours of show make SmackDown so much confortable and enjoyable to watch than 3 hours of RAW."

[7.0] "I think this was a good Smackdown. I was happy to see both Solo Sikoa and Gunther win their matches, with Shinsuke also getting a win in the undercard. Gunther vs Woods was an 8/10 for me, same with Matt Riddle vs Solo Sikoa. I think Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville look really good as a tag team, I would like to see them be champs down the line for sure. Rodriguez looks like she could become a star, so much star power and potential. It is hard to book Judgement Day vs LWO, as both stables need to pick up W's to seem legit, Judgement Day were taking L's at the beginning and not looking strong, now that is the role LWO are playing. I think the big tag matches need to be won by the heels and then the singles won by the babyfaces, so both stables pick up momentum, LWO can't just keep losing. I guess Rey has picked up a couple of wins recently, which is the right choice. It is also good to see Zelina get a chance too, even though she will 100% lose, it is nice to see a fresh face/challenge and ties into the rivalry too (good booking). On another note, why is LA Knight not picking up wins? Fans love him. Have him beat all the under carders to build him up fast."

[6.0] "Like Roman said in his promo against Cena : "it's the same thing over and over, it's like missionnary position every single night", or in this case every single friday. Gunther vs Woods was the only fresh match and the best thing on the show by miles ------- If you take this episode out of context it's very good but if you watch every week it feels like watching a rerun. At least there was more wrestling than usual so it's a + and it made the show an easy watch so I can't rate it badly"

[7.0] "The show started well with two good tag matches. The women's tag was pretty mediocre and this feud doesn't do much to make it interesting. The match between Gunther and Woods was good but lacked a little suspense to make it a great match. The main event was predictable and I'm bored with this kind of match despite the fact that it was decent. I didn't understand the announcement of the Rollins vs Omos match but I guess Rollins didn't either and that's what we'll build the match on."

[5.0] "This was a fine show with most of the wrestling being decent or borderline good, but most of it is stuff we've seen in the past. Gunther/Woods could've been great but it only got like 10 minutes, and the ending to Smackdown/Raw is starting to get replayed at this point because it's the same shit every week."

[4.0] "Pretty boring show this time around, with Gunther vs Xavier being the only highlight for me. Why is Seth Rollins feuding with Omos? Another Solo win in main event via Interference, for how many weeks now? It's getting stale."

[7.0] "This is an episode of smackdown with more wrestling than usual which is great. Not all the matches were great but Woods v Gunther was great and LWO v Judgement Day was very good. Liked the Nakamura and Kross segments. Vega just being given the title shot made no sense. She could at least have earned it in a match with a more established star."

[7.0] "i was very tired when i started this show and ended up forwarding through the second half but what i saw was good, the two tag matches served a purpose and a acceptable womens tag titles match, I really hope we do get Rhea Vs Zelina."

[3.0] "Boring show with matches and segments that we've seen like 4328740 times during the last four months. The only highlight was Gunther sending Xavier Woods to sleep (and maybe, the build up for Nakamura vs Kross)."

[6.0] "Very in ring wrestling heavy episode of SmackDown but yet I don't think any of the matches were great besides the WWE Intercontinental Championship match, lots of people have been saying WWE feels like they're spinning there wheels ever since WrestleMania and there's not been much storyline progression but I didn't really feel like this until this episode of SmackDown, every Raw and SmackDown since WrestleMania (besides the Raw after WrestleMania) I've enjoyed especially the last Raw and the first couple SmackDown's. Been saying it since it was announced in all of these reviews I can't wait for the draft and backlash those events should hopefully change things up but for now I'm just along for the ride. Judgment Day vs LWo was a solid match with quick action and I love that hall of famer Rey Mysterio has been kicking off most of these shows but man can't they just give Santos 1 win man? Tag matches were fineee not much to say about that except I'm pretty sure both of the winning teams are getting split up during the draft. Xavier Woods vs Gunther was a great match, I hope Xavier's single push still stays strong after losing here and Gunther's reign to continue even longer. Usos promo was good but I really really hope they wont actually win the tag tities back that would make 0 sense. Also main event was fun mostly due to the stip, Riddle looked like he was gonna win but ofc interference from the Usos, mostly same old same old but it was an alright time. Also very random match they announced during this show Seth Rollins vs Omos?"

[5.0] "It was boring, there were some good matches but nothing really new and the same Main Event as last week. The Bloodline story is not that good without Roman Reigns."
UceyJuicey wrote on 22.04.2023:
"6.5/10: Fun, enjoyable and watchable, as is the case with most Smackdowns, BUT this really did feel like a Pre-draft placeholder episode with a LOT of the same stuff we have seen recently. The matches themselves were really fun - especially Gunther v Xavier - but yeah as others have said the draft can't come soon enough. If I were to play devils advocate, I'd consider it a successful episode considering how many Smackdown superstars are either injured, resting or unavailable right now (Bray, Drew, Sheamus, Alexa, and of course our part time chief Roman)"

Jaydon Wrestling wrote on 22.04.2023:
[4.0] "Reading through some of these comments has got me baffled, this show was boring and it has felt like smackdown has been the same show since mania with SO MANY INTERFERENCES! The draft cannot come sooner for WWE."
Fleszownik wrote on 22.04.2023:
[5.0] "Mid episode of smackdown. The best parts was Gunther vs Woods but it could be better and the Usos promo. The main event doesnt make any sense, why Solo is beating everybody and why he always gets the main event. If Riddle would beat Solo tonight he would be perfect opponent for Roman."
Rocky7 wrote on 22.04.2023:

Vuko wrote on 22.04.2023:
[6.0] "The matches are cool but the end of the show that looks like the same since 5 shows in a row becomes very annoying. Rollins fighting Omos... for no reason? Zelina who will try to shine against Rhea while we know that the first one will be massacred in 5 minutes. A decent show but it starts to be heavy ends"

[8.0] "Was a relatively good show considering there seems to be some stalling for the draft which effected last week but this was better than last week. Gunther continues to be the most consistent wrestler in the world with his match, hot opener and a strong main event. The match quality in WWE continues to be alot higher than last year and the only weak part of the show was Zelina Vega asking for a match at Backlash on the basis she's "Puerto Rican""
