[5.0] "Hands on the table I have to admit I've never been a huge fan of Stardom's Cinderella tournament. In my opinion, the 10 minute time limit has never really worked and this year's event further proved that it just isn't for me. Also, 18 matches is undoubtedly far too many for one card and there can only be so many results that protect the performers so you get serious overkill (5 draws on one card is a joke). Of course, this being Stardom there's still quite a bit to enjoy with Momo, Maika, Nanae, Utami, Thekla and Koguma providing good value. Everything about the Giulia/Mai match is great too. It probs should also be mentioned that this event was seriously overshadowed by the far superior NB Premium; Stardom is always at its best when it doesn't try to do too much and keeps it simple."

[4.0] "The wrestling was solid and the show was entertaining throughout, but, as said by other people, the way this tournament is organized and the booking was pretty awful. First of all, the tournament format doesn't make much sense. You have 36 competitors, so some matches here were one round after the other and they were all billed as 1st Round matches. I understand what they want to do with the 10-minute time limit, but it is too short as you can't have many of your stars losing in this time in a convincing way. Maybe 15 would be nice. The over the top rule is original but should be executed differently. 18 matches is too much, even if they are short. I think 12 might be the acceptable limit if most matches are short. In conclusion, most matches were inconsequential and worse than what they'd be if it was a normal match, which I think it makes the wrestlers not look great. Some of the eliminations also made zero sense (AZM vs Hazuki for instance). I still enjoyed Giulia vs Mai Sakurai, Mina vs Poi and Tam vs Himeka. Mayu vs Saya would definitely be MOTN, if it wasn't for the finish."

Iwatani/Kamitani lasting <4 minutes was certainly a choice, just like a bunch of finishes were pretty bizarre. Not a very inspiring show."

I know there usually are a few draws in this tournament, but it did eventually start to take the piss. Especially the manner in which they occurred. Regardless the action was still enjoyable."

I have no idea who's winning and that's a good and a bad thing at the same time. Tora vs Ruaka was probably my favorite match, they killed it."

Also, that Violent Screwdriver that Himeka took at the end of her match with Tam was surely devastating, it looked like DEATH on impact, and it hurt my neck to see it happen."

No match overstays it's welcome, only 1 below average match and the main event was MOTN. Plenty of stories all around such as Waka's first singles victory!"

[8.0] "It's always fun seeing how newer Stardom fans react to the opening night of the Cinderella Tournament. Every year, you get your fair share of draws, double eliminations and upsets. Also every year, you get fans getting upset because wrestlers get caught up in ongoing feuds that cost them their opening round matches, or some matches end too quickly for their liking, or their favorites get eliminated. This year was no different. I wish some matches were longer than they were, and a few of the results did irk me, but that's par for the course for Cinderella Tournaments. Just like Showcase shows, the opening round of the Cinderella Tournament is an acquired taste that can take time to get used to. I enjoyed this show, the chaos of it all, and loved that almost every match was a sprint. There was good storytelling sprinkled throughout, almost every match was entertaining and the chaos was fitting. There's still elite competitors remaining in three of the four portions of the bracket, with the other one still having some high-quality participants left standing. The more I think about it, the more I liked this show. 7.5/10"

[8.0] "What a very good show. Pretending draws is the worst thing in pro wrestling is hilarious and dumb. MOTN is easily AZM vs Hazuki, having a draw that makes complete sense. Ruaka looked like a star, too, against her BMI2000 partner. Who wins this tournament? Probably Tam or Waka."

[2.0] "Good lord what an absolute dud of a show. STARDOM is my favorite promotion by far, but this show encapsulated all of its worst qualities. STARDOM uses draws to the point of parody, but having FIVE in one show is completely asinine even for them, tournament or not. Plus, a lot of said draws and eliminations were done terribly: AZM eliminated herself for no reason just to get a draw with Hazuki (even if it did look cool, it was still illogical), Giulia essentially just jumped over the rope for Mai, Starlight Kid got eliminated in the same way she did last year only Haruka fell with her, Natsupoi rolling off the apron to "escape" the Figure 4 made both her and Mina look like idiots, Utami went to a 10 minute draw for the second year in a row, and Saya vs Mayu was just a complete waste of time. Xena was also less than impressive and her attempt at doing the the Club Venus dance was awful to put it lightly, which raises the question of where Rossy keeps finding these mediocre gaijins when TJPW continues to bring in significantly more talented ones like Billie Starkz, Alex Windsor, Millie McKenzie, Janai Kai, etc. The only thing keeping this show from being rated any lower is the fact that all of the younger talent (Inaba, Ruaka, Hanan, Rina, etc) all had great performances. All-around just a shockingly bad show for STARDOM's standards."
