[7.0] "Solid SmackDown show, that keeps up with the freshness of the Draft that RAW also had. The Dream Triple Threat between legends was so weak due to Edge. He is not made for the type of matches with complex workrate he is doing lately, he is rather more effective with the psychological and methodical style. The second Triple Threat was a bit better and all three men did a good job, specially Sheamus. Women's Tag Titles match was better than I expected and brought some interest to Damage CTRL with the tensions between Io and Bayley. The Main Event was ok, but unexciting. The Bloodline segment regained the level the storyline lost after WrestleMania, Roman mic work as a heel is amazing. It was nice to see the new NXT call ups, Pretty Deadly are so funny, Grayson Waller is a star in the making and Cameron Grimes was just there to keep dragging Baron Corbin to the deepest of depths and Alba and Isla, well, just there to watch the Tag Titles Match."

[7.0] "This was an overall solid bridge from Backlash to Night of Champions. The Bloodline's in-ring segment was excellent (what else is new? ) while all six wrestlers in the World Heavyweight title tournament delivered. The tag match was chugging along nicely until that disaster of a finish torpedoed the entire thing. While I am looking forward to a Bianca/Asuka rematch, the two segments we saw here were not good at all. Bianca's acting was a little too OOT for me, and it felt like we just saw her scream for 20 minutes straight. I also enjoyed them spotlighting some of the new NXT call-ups such as Pretty Deadly & Grayson Waller."

[6.0] "Decent show. Introduced a lot of the new talent coming from NXT to Friday Nights and the main roster audience. The two three ways were really good and the bloodline segment was good and I am excited to see Bianca and Asuka have an actual buildup to a match. Other than that, the show is kind of skippable."

"Decent show that moved story lines along for the WHC and the Bloodline. Everything else just was kind of meh."

[7.0] "Great compared to most Smackdown shows, but the WHC tournament was a lot less interesting here compared to Raw. How great is it to not see the Viking Raiders?"

[9.0] "Incredible show. The first hour and some change were practically flawless in my opinion with two great triple threat matches, a perfect Grimes debut, and a dope Bloodline segment. The rest didn't quite match up but did well enough to advance a couple storylines."

[7.0] "The opening 3 way was great, but the other matches on the show were just there for me though. Beating Corbin doesn't really mean anything, but Grimes squashing him was the perfect debut for him. Roman/Solo going for the tag titles is interesting, plus it's better than him beating someone off of like a 2-week build. Bianca's segment was short, but running back her and Asuka is a good idea, I thought overall this was a good show in terms of building things."
GimliJr wrote on 15.05.2023:
[8.0] "A good episode, which started with two very good fights despite a messy ending to an otherwise excellent opener. The introduction of NXT wrestlers and the brief interaction between Asuka and Bianca brings interest for the weeks to come and the Bloodline promo was top notch. The main event was a bit disappointing and without much chemistry. And I don't really understand this willingness to include SD Superstars when the whole point of the title was to make SD a sort of Roman Reigns chase, away from the WHC title."
longcaT wrote on 14.05.2023:
"[7.0] Pretty solid show. Tournament matches were great but predictable. A lot of new faces from NXT were introduced to SD which is great for the future of this brand. The only thing I didn't like about the episode was Bianca's promo."
alemolina wrote on 13.05.2023:
[5.0] "It was not a memorable show. I liked AJ Styles winning the SmackDown tournament for the WHC, but I really don't understand why Smackdown superstars are competing for it instead of chasing Roman and keeping the new title exclusive for Raw Superstars. I also liked the Bloodline's segment. Besides that, everything was simply boring or senseless."
Garmonbozia wrote on 13.05.2023:

[6.0] "The show started well with The Triple Threat and then had ups and downs, I didn't like Roman and Solo challenging the tag title, but I loved Grimes destroying Boring Corbin in 10 seconds, I really hope Bianca loses her title"

[5.0] "Do the users in this site watch the show without sound or believe the piped-in sound? What a dead show, my goodness. It was hilarious seeing the moment where the crowd was supposed to pop and them giving them nothing. The show slowly lost steam in everything: the matches, energy, creativity. The first thee way was good although very clunky and with a major botched finish (Edge looked concussed here). The next three way was less good, Sheamus was the highlight here. Bobby got busted open badly here. Grimes won like a 5 seconds squash. Roman continued to belittle his cousins and funnily enough, he will challenge for the tag titles with Solo (Roman was really good in this segment). The women's tag match had no energy and was very mediocre. Glad Waller and Pretty Deadly are getting the spotlight. The main event was shockingly bad. Bobby's cut got open twice, it was slow and meandering and there were moments when things broke down."

KingsCrossing wrote on 13.05.2023:
[7.0] "This show felt like a better version of this week's RAW. was really pleased to see so much wrestling on SD, and the quality of the matches was pretty good as well. The draft has made the roster feel much fresher, and the new debuts are being used well so far. The show felt eventful without needing to sacrifice action for storyline - they got the balance just right this week."
eltetechori wrote on 13.05.2023:
[9.0] "A great program that the fights were pretty good and the promos were just as good, great announcement of the Tribal Chief but I hope they do not think of making Roman win because if not that's the worst thing they could do, on the other hand, is coming great fight of the Tournament of this new championship, what a great decision."

[6.0] "Solid show but not as good as I thought it would be. The Bloodline segment was the best thing last night and the second triple threat was the best match."
LivingLegend wrote on 13.05.2023:
[8.0] "Solid show, if a little bit overrated. Two really fun triple threat matches carried the show. The women's tag match was decent. Cameron Grimes squashing Corbin establishes him as a threat on the main roster. Bianca and Asuka had an incredibly bare bones segment to set up another filler title defense for Bianca. The filler vignettes flexing WWE's successes along with some backstage segments all crammed together dragged the pace of the show down dramatically. Roman's promo continues to build "tension" that the Bloodline has had for almost a year now with little progress made. Kevin and Sami going to Saudi is a bit of a shocker, but I highly doubt creative is dumb enough to have the world AND one half of the tag champs be a part timer who wrestles 7 times a year. Hopefully the Bloodline implodes in Saudi and we can finally get Sami and KO into something else."
Rocky7 wrote on 13.05.2023:
[6.0] "A hideously overrated SmackDown, quelle surprise. This was bang average, merely a satisfactory show rather than anything world class. AJ Styles was a sound pick for the World Heavyweight Title match in Saudi Arabia, but he'll likely lose to Seth Rollins. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are going there, which is a major surprise (probably got offered millions), worried they'll put every title on Roman Reigns now. There was a course correct with the Asuka heel turn as Bianca Belair has pretty much beaten everyone and the fans were turning on her (not here though in her home town). And it looks like Damage CTRL are nearing their end."
Liuk wrote on 13.05.2023:
"The episode was good but I'm sick to see this bad booking that they are doing with the female division and also i don't understand why RAW tournament was in Smackdown, but then what was the draft for? After Wrestlemania I don't saw an interesting storytelling for nobody a part Bad Bunny vs Damien Priest"

Dynamax Dawn wrote on 13.05.2023:
[9.0] "This was a good show overall that flew by and had fun matches. The Roman segment went on a bit long for my tastes, and I'm let's say extremely nervous about Roman challenging for Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's tag titles. The man has enough belts and isn't even a full time wrestler and I would really prefer the tag belts being on tv every week, but hopefully this is to set up an usos face turn or something instead. The main event being two former TNA guys was fun too, though obviously this is not the first time WWE has played into TNA memories. I think 9/10 is appropriate for this card."
