[7.0] "The opener and the main event were great, I actually preferred the opener though. I love that they've gone back to the story between Swerve and Keith Lee since I felt like that was never finished. I would've enjoyed a different outcome there though. Ruby vs Britt was miserable but I did enjoy the shenanigans during and after the main event."
[8.0] "Very good show: the opener was great despite the tournament's lazy booking as all four men looked great and the action was very fun and quick. The Acclaimed vs. the Blade & Bollywood Boyz wasn't good, I was never a huge fan of the Acclaimed and now I can barely stand them because since they lost the titles they did nothing except for wrestling bad trios matches almost on a weekly basis. Callis and Jericho's promo was good but the ending of it felt rushed and kinda hurt the segment. Adam Cole & Mjf vs the Butcher & Matt Menard was alright. Post-match between Cole and Mjf was a bit cringy for me but overall pretty fun and their gym video was absolutely amazing and hilarious. Soho vs. Baker was bad but it got a bit better in the final minutes, still bad tho. Omega vs. Yuta once again proved how Omega is still the best bout machine and can deliver great matches with anybody. Yuta was great, too and delivered a solid perfomance. The match was great and the post-match was cool, too."
Toller Main Event."
"Strong show, good matches with the exception of Ruby vs Britt and a very strong main event. Good stuff with MJF and Adam Cole which felt different from the usual MJF feuds."
[5.0] "Largely a mediocre display of uninteresting and played out angles accompanied by so-so matches, and screwy finishes to the ones that actually garnered interest. Outside of MJF and Adam Cole and the opening tag, this show was a dud, and far below the standard AEW has set for themselves in the past."
[5.0] "Opening tag wasn't bad. Main event dragged a bit for a Kenny match. Bad or average stuff between. The MJF and Cole stuff is turning out to be quite entertaining but it couldn't save this episode. Hopefully, if a betrayal is on the cards, they subvert things a little and have Cole kick MJF in the balls. MJF has kicked enough balls in his time."
[7.0] "Massive improvement from last week, and a really fun show. Great Blind Tag matches. Keith Lee looked as powerful as ever, and I'm surprised Darby isn't cut in half from getting stomped on the steel steps. Billy Gunn looked like he was having the time of his life on this episode for some reason, but good for him. The Cole and MJF match was alright, but MJF being so obnoxious was just fun to watch. The birthday shenanigans could've been a little shorter, but it was still an alright watch. Probably the storyline I'm most looking forward to every week. Yuta v. Omega was great. I thought the Dark Order being involved with the BCC/Elite storyline was just a one-time thing last week, but it seems they're keen to get involved now too. It's too much much for me now. I'm not really feeling Yuta anymore, and Claudio and Bryan can be used much better. It was just a bunch of guys in black fighting a bunch of guys in black, while another bunch of guys in black and getting involved too because they're ex-friend in black went to the other group in black. (I know the Bucks' gear is a lot more colorful, but it wasn't the case tonight.)"
[8.0] "Good episode overall I thought. The Adam Cole & MJF stuff tickles my fancy as I love both guys and MJF plays the role of someone who doesn't know how to make friends really well. I hope that goes somewhere. Omega match was class."
[9.0] "Great crowd and the show was a lot of fun. Just like them I enjoyed booing Callis, fanning out for Omega, cheering the Acclaimed. I really enjoyed the Keith Le interactions with Darby and Orange, Toni Storm helping Soho, and my favorite angle right know, MJF and Adam Cole. Meat Magic were great too. Just a lot of fun all night long."
[7.0] "Fun show overall. First match was crazy fun. Main event was pretty good. MJF was hilarious, busting his ass to make the weird angle work with Adam Cole."
[8.0] "For like the 25th time a Dynamite with a weak card on paper really overdelivered. The tag match was great and showcased all four men at their best, dinged slightly by the illegal man getting pinned. An Acclaimed squash was fine but I'd rather it be a tag team squash than a trios one. MJF and Adam Cole made the night with their antics. The main event featured two spectacular technicians put on a master class in getting the details right."
[8.0] "I was live for this show on the floor and it was a blast. Match quality was good but it was the vibe, production, and atmosphere that made this super enjoyable. Rampage is good too with good matches and action."
[7.0] "A good show overall, some fights better than others and honestly, I think the overall rating is too high for what the show was, I'll give this note but come on, in my opinion there were quite high ups and downs."
[7.0] "This was a solid dynamite with some fun matches the best being the opener and the main event and I really like everything they are doing with adam cole and mjf this was just a solid show."
[8.0] "The couple of times this episode dipped it dipped HARD, but most of the other matches and segments bolstered it into remaining a good two hours. Solid opener with what I hope is a reinvigoration of Keith Lee's character and gimmick. The MJF/Cole partnership bit continues to pay dividends. Omega in a main event singles match is pretty much a guaranteed thrill. Now for the bad: The Acclaimed are being wasted in this dreadful QTV feud. Pairing Blade up with the Bollywood Boyz felt very random and haphazard. Snoozer of a match but better than the Owen Hart tournament match. Ruby and Britt looked like they weren't sure what to do next at several points, which I found strange as they've worked together on many occasions now."
[8.0] "Not precisely my taste since this dynamite felt very much for a casual with all the video packages and the wrestling more or less taking a backseat to the sports entertainment and promos, but at least those things felt important and were pretty fun. Enjoyed the opening match and main event with the angle quite a bit. Dont know why Ruby/Britt was so divisive. I am personally very happy Ruby finally got a singles win against Baker. Trios and Cole/MJF were also fun little tags but the wrestling wasnt really the priority for the show outside the opener and main I feel. Good show for me but I suspect a great show for others who are more in tune with this sort of stuff."
[7.0] "It was a fine show, but nothing too special. The first and last match were the in-ring highlights, with the MJF-Cole shenanigans being the most entertaining part of the show. Even if not much happened tonight, it made me want to watch Collision and next week's show, so good job on that."
[9.0] "starting off with a really good tag opener with darby orange vs swerve lee was a good way to get the crowd going and the match delivered plus the announcement of nick wayne arriving next week to face swerve in the continuation of their story from defy. Six Man Tag Team Match was just a fun match so no harm no foul, sometimes ya gotta give the people what they want and the people want the acclaimed and daddy ass.Adam Cole & MJF defeat Matt Menard & The Butcher. this one wansn't so much about the match but more about the ongoing dynamic between cole and mjf and in that respect it delivered some top tier stuff great job from everyone involved. Ruby Soho (w/Saraya & Toni Storm) defeats Dr. Britt Baker DMD a fair much but not the best work from either and this one is likely more about the reslut as ruby now goes up against the fast rising skye blue looking to get that pin back. Kenny Omega defeats Wheeler Yuta easily the motn as kenny works on another level and yuta just continues to impress each and every time he's out there and you can see the influence of the time time he spends in japan come through in his matches add in some more build to blood and guts and the continuation of the takeshita angle that could also circle back to to the don and jericho promo which added alot of mystery to not only that situation but also the jas...alot of bases got covered tonite so just a really good put together show..8.5/10"
[9.0] "Absolutely enjoyed the heck out of this Dynamite this week. Great opener, and I cant wait to see what crazy tag teams were gonna see out of the blind eliminator rules. But the highlight was definitely the newly found friendship between MJF and Adam Cole. So much potential and easily the best storyline going on right now. Omega and Yuta didnt disappoint either. The fact that Omega was still selling the Tiger Diver 91 from FD, in-ring psychology at its finest."
[8.0] "Great show this week. Favorite match was the main event between Kenny Omega and Wheeler Yuta. The rest of the show was good with Ruby Soho getting an unexpected win over Britt. Thought the finals was gonna end up being Britt vs. Athena."
[5.0] "The quality of the match is pretty basic and nothing really important happens I have to say. Not a bad show but not so much satisfactory according to me."
[5.0] "The fun of the 'Blind Tag Tournament' highlighted this show, but the Cole/MJF gym segment could've been way better. Even though the conclusion of this storyline is obvious, it's more fun to see MJF in this mode. The after-match birthday segment was unnecessary, I'd seen enough of that gimmick. Mox's Kingston promo was good; Jungle Boy's segment was garbage. Skipped a couple of matches and Jericho's promo. Performer of the night was far and away Keith Lee."
[8.0] "Live AEW show #4 for me, this wasn't going to touch Revolution 2023, but this was a good TV show that built up future stuff, carried on the Adam Cole and MJF partnership, gave us a hot Jericho and Callis segment where Jericho might end up in Blood and Guts, and Kenny Omega in a good main event in his home country. Glad they remembered the Nick Wayne agreement, can't wait to see his debut next week. I enjoyed Britt/Ruby as well, but an early botch hurt it. The fans in Edmonton were welcoming and loud nearly all night long, so glad to have experienced it."
[8.0] "An entertaining episode. More segments and promo work than usual, but that wasn't a bad thing. I much prefer this more leisurely pace than the frustrating rush of many of their shows last year. Recaps and previews for Collision, update on Roderick Strong and Perry/Hook. Of course the birthday celebration for Cole, and his very amusing frenemies team up with MJF. The Jericho/Callis segment was certainly intriguing, with lots of great heat on Don and an open ending that could set up something fresh for Jericho. The matches were a mixed bag, with the tag team starting off very fun, and Yuta/Kenny as my MOTN. The MJF/Cole match was great as a storyline. The low spots were the Acclaimed vs jobbers of the week, although that match wasn't actively BAD, unlike the ladies match which was a rough one to make it through."
