[10.0] "The best Rampage ever and the one completely booked by Bryan Danielson (with Khans approval) according to Dave Meltzer. Fantastic wrestling up and down the show with each match showcasing a very different style of wrestling. A fascinating glimpse into what a Bryan Danielson booked promotion could look like. Tony give him the pen for ROH."

The kind of episode where everybody wins : the wrestlers and the fans, either in the arena or at home. A stacked episode, yeah. ZSJ vs. Andretti is certainly my favourite fight of the four, with each contest proposing a different style. Definitely an episode worth-watching."

Some may not like it, but it's a real pleasure to see demonstrations in such different styles from one match to the next. A high-flying opener before witnessing a technical match like Zack Sabre Jr has a secret for. And a very good audience for the 4 matches of the evening, which played a big part in the pleasure."

I might be biased because this card is full of personal favourites, but they are favourites for a reason. Props to AEW for putting a card like this together. No other promotion would do this. Belts from different promotions, talent thats not All Elite getting the Ws, spotlights for the promotions younger talent for them to shine in. This is what I want to see in wrestling."

[7.0] "The AAA three-way was a great showing for all three men, but it did admittedly have some lousy spots in it. ZSJ versus Andretti was good as well, but it was predictable, which isn't a horrid thing, but didn't help the match too much either. Willow versus Sakura was a nice bout, though it sucks to see that Emi got a new theme, her old one was really good. Some of the moves in the match felt sluggish and lacked any real meat on it. Shibata versus Moriarty was very nice to watch, although Lee's last ropebreak use could have been done better. Perhaps it could have been used in a more suspenseful way? Jim Ross had been a downside on the show for the entire night until Shibata came out. It was nice to hear JR sing the praises of Shibata, and it really added to the match. Daniel Garcia confronting Shibata is a very interesting match, and it will surely be good to watch. The only big negative on the show is the Jarrett/Lethal and friends promo. Having Aubrey Edwards play a significant (AND PHYSICAL) part in this feud is not a good idea. Aubrey honestly shouldn't be getting this big of a spotlight, considering how she should simply be a referee (like most of the referees in AEW! ). I truly hope that AEW does not actually book Aubrey in a match. Even in a perfect world where Aubrey is an amazing wrestler, it still shouldn't be done. She needs to just be a referee, not play a vital role in a feud. Overall, it was a great show!"

[7.0] "4 Title matches and not a single AEW title was defended. 3 of the 4 matches were clear to me who would retain. Only the NJPW Strong Women's match was up in the air due to Willow never supposed to have won the title. The matches were entertaining and I enjoyed all 4. Good episode of Rampage. Not excited at all for the Jarrett and company vs Briscoe and Edwards feud."
coppercowries wrote on 04.06.2023:
[7.0] "For a Rampage, this was entertaining. Having a set-in-stone outcome for every match, and little in the way of story progression (the Aubrey/Jarrett angle, and the thread of Jungle Boy tangling with Ingobernables were the sum of it), is what keeps it from being top tier."
Vanstyler wrote on 04.06.2023:

[6.0] "Solid Matches. Loved every match on the show save that really awful Action Andretti match. Maybe I'm tiring of ZSJ doing the same match every time, but what are you gonna do. The Triple A match was what you expected. Willow just feels like a bigger deal ever since she got that purple belt and Emi is solid all the time. Shibata could wrestle a blow up doll to a 3.5 star match so I'll let him get away with wrestling a decent match with "Go Away Heat" Lee Moriarty. Would have been a better show for me if we didn't have a nothing promo leading to match with a referee. It smells like the Ruthless Aggression era WWE / earlyTNA to me. I love Audrey Edwards and thinks she adds so much to big matches, but I have no interest in watching her fumble through a wrestling match with Karen Jarrett"

[8.0] "The only times I've bothered with rampage are when Shibata pops in and this was a great show. It doesn't need to be as stacked with talent as this card was but just SOME effort would be appreciated. Every match was fantastic and served its purpose and the show just breezed by."
McArles wrote on 04.06.2023:
[9.0] "I don't know what madness got into AEW to set up this absolute gem. They say Rampage is turning into a Heat type show with the coming of Collision, so maybe they wanted to give it a proper farewell? Whatever the reason an absolute banger, a pocket edition PPV. If anything, I love Shibata as much as the next guy and then some, but for it's prestige and for the match itself the Megacampeonato should've been the main event."

I remember when Rampage first came on the air and it was really refreshing to have a fast-paced one-hour wrestling show with some great fan favorites on the card. This was just like it. Maybe this show just appealed to me because I know and like everyone on the card but I personally couldn't fault it. More rampage tapings like this, please."

Vindicator1996 wrote on 03.06.2023:
[2.0] "This is not a TV show, it's a collection of "dream matches" for the most hardcore of hardcore fans. It made no sense for AEW. Which stories were advanced? None. Which currently relevant players were used? Zero. No fully-AEW star won in an AEW show. And the Audrey angle? This might be the worst angle in the history or the company, and yes, I remember Brandi."

[7.0] "One of the best Rampage in a while: the opener despite being a bit repetitive was pretty good with some good fast-paced wrestling, Sabre Jr. vs. Andretti was very good, bothe men's styles matched very well and it was the best match of the night, Nightingale vs. Sakura was good and Shibata vs. Moriarty was satisfactory but very underwhelming. Overall: very good show!"

Four title matches from three promotions, none of them AEW. The highlight was the three way AAA Mega Championship Match with mental Lucha acrobatics, everything else was either solid or good."

Golden Lover wrote on 03.06.2023:
"With the depth of quality in AEW there's almost no reason why Rampage can't be this good all the time. Great show, almost all wrestling with different styles, Lucha opener, good mix of styles between Zack and action andretti, very good jodhi match and a pure title match. This variety is where AEW can really set themselves apart in America. All solid matches"
