[7.0] "Outside of the main event all the matches on this card were good. The Elite promo after the loss was alright. Excited for a Bullet Club Gold v FTR feud. Wardlow and Arn has been a good pairing for both men. Don Callis is a good mouthpiece for foreign heels. Overall good show but you never want your main event to be the worst match on the card."
[7.0] "A show that started well but ended in disappointment for the in-ring part. The first two matches were cool, but the main event didn't have the level to be at the top of the card. Fortunately, there was a good promo from Callis and Takeshita to finish things off, and the announcement of CM Punk's return was a positive moment. 7/10."
[8.0] "Great show: the opener was very good as well as the three way and Allin & Cassidy vs. Gates of Agony was the match of the night while the tbs title match and the main event weren't very good and I didn't liked them. Callis and Kateshita delivered a great promo and got massive heat for it. Elite/Dark Order backstage segment was great. We finally listened to Bullet Club Gold on the mic and they delivered as their promo and brawl with Ftr and Ricky Starks was entertaining. And Cm Punk's return announcement was amazing! A great episode of Dynamite with enjoyable matches and good segments."
[7.0] "The episode started strongly with the 6 man tag and the triple threat match but once again this is proof a show can get hurt by having 2 very weak matches to finish the show. Statlander and Nyla Rose had no chemistry and the Adam Cole/Jericho feud continues to be the worst feud in wrestling. Britt Baker was probably the best performer in the mach and Saraya still looks rusty since her return to the ring. Don Callis segment was the high point promo wise, the man has serious heat."
[5.0] "This episode started off well enough and then just fell off en route to a poor main event. Ticket sales for Collision must need a boost because they're not taking a risk on the Punk thing. Now he's confirmed and we get graphics for Collision tickets taking up 80% of the screen during a main event which is mostly comprised of Britt Baker crawling around on her hands and knees. A very skippable episode which started to test my patience by the end, but I did like the Don Callis heat segment."
[7.0] "Good episode that starts new storylines. Finally things around Bullet Club Gold seems interesting. Don Callis promo was amazing, thanks also to the San Diego crowd!"
"Good pick up from the following weeks go home show. I like the black pool combat but I wanna see how much higher they can go. I hope they dont stall out at this stage because there is a lot more potential in using them. Looking forward to see where this goes, or the eventual breakup that will happen and how that will go down."
[6.0] "Just kinda a perfectly fine Dynamite. I found the best match to be the opener which was very fun but afterwards it was a lot of just perfectly gine matches until a really mediocre main event. I liked the BC Gold/Starks segment and then ye that was about it. Perfectly by-the-books wrestling show with a weak ending with nothing of real note happening for me."
[8.0] "A solid comeback episode from the mediocre PPV. Great flow on this one, with a smooth mix of good matches and segments. The TBS title already has more heat on it and feels like it's gonna MATTER finally. Gates of Agony looked strong in defeat and Swerve is clearly still on his sneaky shit. And my favorite part of the whole episode was Juice and Jay White wallowing all over Tony while cutting a hilarious promo on FTR, who they then beat the tar out of. Give these dudes the belts! And, OF COURSE, that Don Callis promo with the nuclear boos. Holy shit."
[6.0] "Average show, getting a 6 because of the promos. None of the matches seemed to advance storylines except for the main event, which is a rather uninteresting one."
[10.0] "The best episode of AEW Dynamite in a long time in my opinion all of the matches were great and the promos from Don and the Acclaimed were great the crowd was electric throughout the entire show which made the show feel even bigger"
[6.0] "This was not a bad episode but I wasn't feeling it so much as others. The opener was fun and the women's match was underrated, but nothing was very much standout. The hot crowd helped, especially with Callis' promo which didn't make a lot of sense to me, but it got heat so I guess it worked."
[8.0] "This was a good episode! The opener between Luchabros&Bandido vs BCC was great and rest of the matches were good too. The promo segments hit their mark and the crowd was so energetic! The Don Callis and Takeshita promo was insane heat."
[8.0] "Well, there was an update, now we can't rate the show or the matches, which is more consistent, and I absolutely understand why, and support this update.. Anyways, this was a very enjoyable show with many great matches, an incredible announcement, amazing promos, and an even better crowd."
[9.0] "Very strong Dynamite buoyed by the crowd being electric, incredible opener, and plenty of acts being featured. JungleHook's reunion being the least important segment tells you it was a successful show."
[8.0] "A pretty energetic post Double or Nothing show, some interesting wrestling and although the Main Event was a bit lacking, I think the show was pretty complete. I hope they improve the theme of choosing a Main Event and that it is something more worthy than a fight that passes without glory. Otherwise, great show."
[8.0] "Good show after a mostly disappointing pay per view. All the matches were fine and the show focussed on continuing and starting storylines, with some new characters rotating in (would love to see more of the Mogul Embassy, that is a good pairing now for all these guys) and some exciting pairings: FTR vs BCG, Swerve vs Orange, obviously Callis and Takeshita. Speaking of which, what a crowd. They made the show very enjoyable and the Callis/Takeshita segment a full-blown winner. You could see Callis trying hard to avoid smiling, his carny butt certainly enjoyed the boos. ; -) Glad to see Statlander back in action as well. Everyone worked hard and the two yours flew by with a steady stream of mostly entertaining matches and segments. Now let's see what country Omega really visited. ^^"
[7.0] "A very solid show elevated by a hot crowd and really made up for the subpar Double or Nothing PPV. The main thing holding this back was a lack of compelling direction going forward for any feuds."
[9.0] "Electric crowd despite the final card looking skippable on paper. San Diego definitely deserves another show in the near future. All solid matches and promos with a polarizing crowd reaction for the Punk announcement (about 60% cheers, 40% boos). Highlight of the show were the deafening boos for Callis and Takeshita. People in the arena genuinely thought the mics weren't working because the crowd was so loud for their promo. Excited to see how far Takeshita can go with a heat magnet like Don Callis pulling the strings. Overall a great and fun show for the fans"
[9.0] "Felt like it was one of the best post-PPV Dynamites in a long time. Didn't really care for the main event because I wanted Jericho-Cole to be dead after the PPV. But it was an otherwise strong Dynamite. FINALLY Jay and Juice got a live mic and that was some generational heat Don Callis and Takeshita were drawing. Crowd was fantastic and put the Las Vegas crowd to shame."
[6.0] "The episode came out average. It raises many questions. There were, however, all the standard problems of AEW: a bunch of indistinct randomness, the lack of good strings for new confrontations and a lot of unnecessary material. Nevertheless, there were pluses, for example, I will now be waiting for the program for the team championship, because it really arouses interest."
"This was a really good "reshuffling the deck" episode of Dynamite, after Double or Nothing. Gave us a glimpse at things to come as the company moves forward."
[7.0] "Alright show. Callis angle, punk return announcement and stat getting a fun defence were the highlight but there was nothing especially exciting. More a slow easing into the next phase after a fine ppv than a great show in and off itself but enough fun teases to keep me excited for the coming weeks"
[5.0] "The storytelling is awful, you are telling me that someone who went through Anarchy in the Arena in Double or Nothing is able to come back to work in 3 days without any problems or injuries? Just take a week off to say that you went through hell and came back. It's like each match is self contained without ideas from the previous week. OC and Darby are suddenly in a tag match against random roh people? I thought Tony was not allowing ROH in AEW at some point. I also didn't like Nyla Rose always being the first person to challenge for any of the womens titles, but always losing, let Nyla win once so there would be a chance for people to believe Nyla could win.The only redeeming feature of this dynamite is Don Callis and how everyone hates him, the heat he gets is amazing.CM Punk is also announced, TK as usual doesn't know how to talk to the crowd, mind as well hire a GM that will make announcements."
[6.0] "Skipped the last two matches, but really liked aspects of this show. AEW is criticised for throwing random matches together, but here it paid off as people, however random, were well showcased, like Big Bill, Bandido, Swerve and Gates of Agony. The initial segments were great, including BCG, Don and Takeshita, and Statlander's post-victory vignette."
"Average show, nothing really special happened. CM Punk announcement was already predicted, but good it was confirmed. Fun six man tag with good spots.. Crowd was pretty solid all night"
[8.0] "Pretty good Dynamite following a mixed PPV. The main event really didn't deserve to be the main event after it was the low point of the ppv, however it wasn't anywhere close to as bad as that match was. Everything else on the card was good to great though. Statlander looked very good in her first title defence, Bullet Club Gold got some important mic time, the build to Swerve v Orange Cassidy is doing a good job at establishing two guys who are genuine threats to each other, and everything with The Elite/BCC/Don Callis is top notch work. Definitely an important Dynamite that's worth checking out"
[10.0] "This was literally a great dynamite episode with a lovely crowd after that disappointing crowd on Sunday . I loved the crowd, this is were you can see how a great crowd can make every matches interesting & the hole show amazing. I believe every segments were awesome & matches were in a good atmosphere. Exactly the last year Dynamite after DON was awesome either. Collis & Takeshita segment was my favorite."
[10.0] "One of the best Dynamite episodes of the year, focusing on Swerve, OC, BCC, Callis/Takeshita, and The Elite as main characters. Not a single bad segment, no 5 star matches but a lot of 3.5-4 star matches which is what makes a great episode of TV"
[9.0] "Great Episode of AEW Dynamite, with good matches, great segments like the promo by takeshita and callis. The crowd was good. A good dynamite after the PPV."
"After a mixed bag of a PPV, this was a great show to reinvigorate everyone in the crowd and at home about the product, excluding the go home show, this 3 week run of dynamite has been elite level of television. Big Bill and Gates of Agony gained alot off their performances today and hoping we get a push for big bill soon if it hasnt already started, hoping we somehow get rush vs hook too after that segment with LFI and hook. I cant rate but a very solid 8.5/10 show"
"Top to bottom one of the best Dynamite's. Crowd energy was sustained through all portions of the show. No matches felt lacking All promo's / angles were superb."
