[7.0] "Garbage undercard but a very good second half of the show (save for the Finlay vs Tama match which was just fine) saved this big time. SANADA and Hiromu really delivered and Cobb had one of his best singles matches for me. 7.5/10"

[7.0] "Really solid show to cap off a consistently good Dontaku tour. The undercard was entertaining enough and went by quickly. All of the title matches were satisfactory and delivered in their spot on the card. The NEVER Six-Man match was my favorite part of the show but, all four of the last matches have a reason to be someone's favorite. As a tour finale it didn't really peak as high as other shows in this position, it was still a good watch though and had plenty of build for NJPW going into the summer."

[8.0] "Great show. All title matches was really enjoyable, especially Finlay vs Tama Tonga, in which new leader of BC revealed as powerful guy, who can destroy his opponents without any help. Main event was second best match on show. In my opinion, there was intrigue, beacause Takahashi is strongest guy in his division and could win this title"

[7.0] "The first four-match block of this show was just your standard-issue inoffensive NJPW opening multi-man matches, and Hikuleo vs. KENTA was somewhat flat, but this picked up significantly in its last several matches. Sanada vs. Hiromu was a strong main event, with the main criticism being that the outcome was never really in doubt as it's pretty clear that they won't be ending Sanada's title reign or running with Hiromu as a top champion yet. The ZSJ vs. Cobb TV Title match was also good, with the time limit draw result at least allowing for a rematch. Finlay vs. Tama was OK and certainly helps Finlay become further established in his new role as Bullet Club leader. And the Tanahashi/Okada/Ishii vs. Strong Style six-man tag was a lot of fun and opens up new possibilities between the three somewhat-hostile new champions. A decent show that feels like it was building a lot for the near future."

[8.0] "You can't axpect a good undercard by NJPW but the last four matches were outstanding. It's strange that at Wrestling Satsuma No Kumi we got what I consider a 5+ stars match and here nothink went over a 4.5 rating. ****"

[4.0] "A lot of average matches on this card. Hikuleo winning was a bad choice. Really didn't see the point in ZSJ and Cobb going to a draw. The six man tag title match felt like a Korakuen Hall main event. No one cares about the openweight title and no one cares about David Finlay so those two deserve each other. Most interesting thing on this show was Yota Tsuji returning."

"[10.0]A best match. They respected each other and put on a great match that left a sweet and sour feeling in the hearts of the audience. Hiromu is very good at showing his opponent's strength convincingly."

[8.0] "Yes, 2 of the 5 title matches were pretty bad, but the other 3 were solid as hell, particularly the 6-Man and World Heavyweight title matches. Also, I have no idea who Yota Tsuji is, but I immediately liked the guy and I think he will shake the landscape in NJPW, particularly concerning Shota and Narita's role in the future."
AtlasEarth wrote on 04.05.2023:
[8.0] "Sakura Genesis might be the best show NJPW has put on this year so far but this was a nice follow up. Set up a good amount of stuff in the non title matches and a ton of intrigue with these title match changes and the main event debut. The company continues to be doing some interesting things I am looking forward to."

[7.0] "Happy to see another successful WHC match from SANADA. It shows he is settling into the new role well. ZSJ and Cobb's crowd reactions made Tama and Finlay's look abysmal. The six-man was an all star match plus Narita. Top performers were Cobb, Ishii and SANADA, with a special shout out to NJPW and Yota Tsuji. The best Young Lion return in years."
Jacek2002 wrote on 03.05.2023:
[9.0] "Another great show from New Japan. The individual quality of matches wasnt as high as Sakura Genesis but the action was still very solid, the Chaos + Tanahashi trios win was a great moment and Sanada and Hiromu made you believe that we could see a title change. I would have given this show an 8, but that debut really changed everything for me, from the camera angles, the walkout to Yota himself and how incredible he looked. This was the best Young Lion excursion comeback since at least Jay White, and honestly I thought it was better."

[4.0] "Worst NJPW show i ever saw. I didn't expect much out of this card but it was even worst.Bad Openweight and strong title matches Tv title match was allright 6man tag best fight at the show. Main event was allright in ring but very predicable, so it was no emotions here. Im disappointed in next Sanada rival, it doesn't feel like ME of Dominion caliber."
Childofthelost wrote on 03.05.2023:
[10.0] "Great showing for NJPW. The final 4 matches all delivered and then some, Yota Tsuji is back, BOSJ lineups announced, Mox is coming back to Japan, Dominion card already mostly set after the events of tonight. Cant ask for much more than that."
Vuko wrote on 03.05.2023:
[6.0] "The PPV was not crazy in general. As usual, no interest in tag games. The Strong title bothered me a bit. The match for the TV title was excellent. The match at 6 was nice. The pre-main event was... arf 25 minutes of squash for me. And the main event was decent. I expect more for Dominion."

[10.0] "An amazing show that makes NJPW feel even fresher than after Sakura Genesis. Younger wrestlers are being showcased more and more, Okada takes a backseat and finally wins a tag team championship. I would say every title match delivered in some ways, even the Strong Openweight was alright for what it was. The show ends with a very good debut for Yota Tsuji as SANADA's next challenger and seemingly LIJ's new member. In my opinion one of the best Wrestling Dontaku I've seen."
