[7.0] "They did a good job honoring Jay's life but the matches weren't great. It wasn't thrown together too well but that didn't take away from the fact of honoring Jay. Rest in peace Jay, the wrestling world will miss you forever."

[7.0] "Given the tragic circumstances, and how little time they had to organise some sort of tribute, this is a valiant effort to honour Jay Briscoe. However, without the archive footage spliced in an argument could be made that they should have waited a bit longer until they could put together a card that more heavily consisted of people from throughout Jay's career. There's nothing bad on the show, but there were a few matches that felt out of place on it."

[9.0] "As much as I loved the show's structure of having the legendary stars of ROH narrate their times spent with Jay in & out of the ring, I felt a void in this event due to some bouts not having the necessity/power to be a part unlike the opener, Athena/Madison & the main event. The callback contests of the heavenly hero were excellent picks for some to reminisce about and some to watch it for the first time. The major flaw this event had was that the team was held back due to Warner Bros Discovery's constant rejection of conducting this event even though Jay has changed his views on his past comments. The promise was made by the team for another proper tributary event just like how Brodie Lee had & I hope it'll be completely memorable & a perfect foil of the essence of ROH."

[8.0] "Not factoring the tribute material (including the archival matches), this was something of an average show, feeling somewhat thrown together (likely because it was; taped only 24 hours after Jay Briscoe's tragic passing) with the Claudio-Daniels main event the only real in-ring standout match, and the one that truly felt like it was fought with honoring Jay in mind - a match between one of his great rivals and one of his fellow day-one ROH talents, over a title the man himself held twice, and ending with Jay's finishing move. The tribute material, including the taped testimonials and matches from the archive, though, boost the show greatly, and made it into the loving tribute Briscoe deserved. I can't help but wonder, though, if it might not have actually been an even stronger tribute - as well as easier on almost everyone involved - to cut it down to *just* the archival/tribute material and the main event as a single featured match."

"I don't rate memorial shows, but given that this was put together 24 hours following Jay's passing, it was an excellent tribute. the 3 hour video posted to YouTube had a collection of interviews from his former co-workers, and a few of Jay's best matches with current AEW talent. I wouldn't say these are the best matches of Jay's career, but it's a great showcase to honor a great man."

Emotional, to say the least; he spent the last decade trying to make up for his mistakes in the past and that deserves, at least, acknowledgement and, preferably, forgiveness. Thanks for the good memories, Jay, you will be missed."

They chose some of the best Jay matches, I would've liked to see his first world title win, but I understand they maybe don't want to promote Steen. I also loved the messages from Samoa Joe, Adam Cole, Matt Hardy, Christopher Daniels and everyone that decided to speak, they really made me shed some tears. Jay Briscoe, you will always be remembered."
