[9.0] "Near perfect show to start the year for NOAH! Some big headlining matches (most notably the main event) to draw people in, and a great card to showcase their talent and hopefully keep those people watching going forwards. Kenoh vs Kiyomiya was an early MOTY contender, and the other title matches all delivered too."

[8.0] "As a first time experience with NOAH, it was a nice show... my favorite 3 matches are the GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, the GHC Heavyweight Championship and the MUTA/Nakamura (for what it is)... now i have watched almost every card of 2023, i'm catching the taste to the NOAH's shows"

[8.0] "My first NOAH show and it was a nice surprise. Except for the last 4 matches it is true that it is not great but it is relatively correct. I suspected that the last matches would be of quality but I was also caught by the stories told in the ring without really knowing the contexts except the main event. The whole thing was pretty well produced. 7, 5/10 (3* 3/4)."

"The GHC Tag Team Title Match was very hot. And the match between Muta and Nakamura made me cry. Thank you Muta. But young players cannot expect"

"As someone who has got into Noah last year after Cyberfest I've loved the build up to this event. Disappointed that the GHC title match wasn't the main but they used it well storyline wise. I'd rate this if I could but has a new member I can't. 8.0 from me anyway"

[8.0] "The main event is of course the main source of intrigue: the soon-to-retire Great Muta facing the WWE-contracted Shinsuke Nakamura in his return to Japanese competition. And while it may not have been the best match on the card from a pure workrate standpoint, it delivered on all the intangibles. For his age and especially physical condition, Muta did what he could, and is still fully capable of working around his limitations to deliver an intriguing in-ring story. And it sure was good to see the "old" Nakamura back; his mannerisms and pageantry just hit different when he's able to work this style of match. The finish - with Nakamura stealing Muta's mist and spraying it back at him - was very creative. Elsewhere on the card there were several notably good bouts; Kiyomiya vs. Ketoh was probably the best pure match on the card, and Kojima & Sugiura vs. KENTA & Marufuji is also worth making the effort to see. Although maybe not among the very best of the night, I rather enjoyed the old-style grappling in Morris vs. Thatcher as well. The other matches were all at least decent, mostly good, making this a strong event all around."

"It was a good show overall. The undercard matches were all at least decent. Both the GHC Heavyweight Title and GHC Heavyweight Tag Team Title matches are worth going out of the way to see. NOAH's video/audio production add a lot to the product."

Nakamura was indeed one guy with an uprised status who was very fit for retiring him from Noah. All the credit of the show falls on the last match but the other ones were also consistent."

[8.0] "Really just a two match show. The GHC Heavyweight Tag Title match us very fun with some great interactions, plus it? s the return of KENTA in NOAH. Kenoh vs Kaito was the greatest NOAH match since Go Shiozakis reign with the title in 2020. Spectacle wise, you could check out Muta vs Nakamura, and if you really want to, check out the Junior heavyweight title match for just some short fun."

[7.0] "this show was a show full of ups and downs, but i felt like in the end i enjoyed it more than i thought i would having taken a break from NOAH for about 2 and a half years, production was fantastic and the opening 2 matches were enjoyable but it's truly a shame that Inamura is still not doing anything important he looked like an absolute star here and i hope this means bigger things for him as the year progresses. was awesome seeing M3K on this show giving Mochizuki Jr a budokan match is wild he's definitely set up for a good career and i hope he can fulfill his potential over the coming years but that's the last good match for a bit as we have a horrible tag and a super boring singles match following it, Jack Morris may be one of the worst wrestlers ever if i'm being totally honest and Thatcher phoned it in and gave a dud performance. Jr title match was great but I do feel like the wrong man won but that doesn't take away from my enjoyment too much plus i think Junta will end up winning the title sometime this year anyway ***1/2. Tag title match was good but I need Kojima out of NOAH asap lol i don't think it's the **** match others thought it was but i did enjoy it a lot and probably rate it the same as the Jr title match, KENTA still has it. can't say the same for the Jr Tag title match though, as much as i love Kzy this match was not good and was way too long, didn't care for it at all. GHC title match was fantastic and definitely should've gone on last, i think it was easily their best match together and the right man definitely won, fantastic showing from both guys as they seemed to have a fire inside of them given the fact they were relegated to the semi main event ****1/2. finally the main event, i enjoyed it for what it was and i'm so glad it was under 20 minutes as any Mutoh match feels about double it's actual length, Shinsuke looked like the star he used to be and while i couldn't care less if he ever came back to Japan as i feel like he's perfectly fine where he is it was super nice seeing him again, ending spot was cool but the match itself was definitely more of a novelty match, ***3/4. gotta give the show a 7 as the undercard dragged but the big matches delivered (minus the jr tag titles)"

[6.0] "Quite a disappointing show compared to past years, as the undercard felt like nothing, so the double main events did the carrying. Kiyomiya/Kenoh rules, and Nakamura/Muta did what it was supposed to."
Barbidou79 wrote on 03.01.2023:
"It's a 7/10 for me. Good show in general. Jake Lee making his appearance was a good moment. The match for the GHC Tag Team Championship was great ! Kojima still got it without a doubt. Kiyomiya vs Kenoh was awesome ! And ofc, the main event, what a moment. The entrance of Nakamura was spectacular. Him and Great Muta delivered a awesome moment that we'll remember."

LIGERISM wrote on 02.01.2023:
[10.0] "3 must-watch matches but a lot of filler in the first half of the show. I am still giving it a 10 as a whole because of the importance of the main event in the history of pro wrestling."
crazedfan wrote on 02.01.2023:
[7.0] "Show was decent overall. Without the Kiyomiya/Kenoh match, this show would probably fall in to skip territory, to be honest (Kojima/Sugiura vs. KENTA/Marufuji was fun). The entire bottom half of the card is entirely skippable and most of the upper card fails to hit as highly as one would want."
Jordan Impact wrote on 02.01.2023:
[8.0] "A good show with some solid undercard matches, Kiyomia & Kennoh stealing the show in the semi main event and while Muta vs Nakamura was a solid but unspectacular match which considering Muta? s age was to be expected but the fact I got to see two legends lock up in the ring at all was worth it alone."
TheRabbitInTheBush wrote on 02.01.2023:
[9.0] "This show would be a 10/10 but the junior tag title matches was out of place and very underwhelming. Besides that it was an excellent show. Maybe the best performance from AMAKUSA. The heavyweight tag titles got the crowd really excited. The GHC heavyweight title match was maybe match of the year and it is the first day of the year. Nakamura's entrance was amazing."
MooGati wrote on 01.01.2023:
[9.0] "This was long, and not everything was necessary, but I can't give this less than a nine after the set design, the pageantry of the main event, and the absolute instant classic for the title between Kaito and Kenoh. Seeing Nakamura in this element was amazing and makes you realize what he can be, even in WWE, if they let him be in control of his own presentation. As nice as it was to see Nakamura, I walk away from this show wanting more from Kaito and Kenoh; together, apart, I don't care, the journeys of both these guys is now what I'm most interested in in wrestling. Oh, and Jake Lee showed up. Yup."

[9.0] "Almost perfect show. Some games with humor to lift the mood of the crowd. A lot of old familiar faces. The new stars performed better than expected. The double main events were completely different in type, but both were wonderfully moving. If the ban on audience shouting had been officially lifted, it would have scored 10/10."
