Das Interview mir Jacy Jane war nicht gut und der Brakeup scheint erstmal viel zu überhastet. Nach einem netten Diamond Mine Segment gibt es die Siegeszeremonie für Thea Hail. So Banane das auch war, ein bisschen unterhalten fühle ich mich doch, auch durch die Unterbrechung von McDonagh. Das daraus resultierende Match zwischen McDonagh und Chase war nicht weiter erwähnenswert aber zumindest nicht fürchterlich. In die selbe Kerbe fällt Henley/James vs. Nile/Paxley, das Match erfüllt seinen Zweck und spinnt die Storyline rund um Henley, Kiana und Jensen weiter. So nervig ich die ganze Geschichte mal fand, mittlerweile ist das recht passabel. The New Day haben dann ein okayes Segment mit mehreren potentiellen Herausforderern. Das Segment mit Crews und Hayes im Barbershop war absolut in Ordnung, das ist eine weitere Fehde die sich von schlecht zu passabel verbessert hat. The Creed Brothers vs. Gulag/Walker war das ordentlichste Match des Abends. Natürlich gewinnen die Creeds, mir gefällt es aber, dass man Walker mehr und mehr Spotlight gibt. Die Creeds halten dann In-Ring noch eine nette kleine Promo, vor allem Julius verbessert sich langsam aber sicher. Indus Sher liefern dann eine akzeptable Antwort. Das Interview mit Gigi Dollin war auch nicht besser als da mit Jacy Jane. Nachdem NXT kurz unterbrochen wurde und einen kleinen Einspieler von einem schlechten Mafiafilm zeigen macht Elektra Lopez dann kurzen Prozess mit Choo. James und Henley bekommen jetzt schon einen Tag Title Shot? Das geht arg schnell. Lopez versuch danach weiter Feroz auf die dunkle Seite zu ziehen, kann man machen. Stevie Turner geht mir nach drei Wochen schon extrem auf die Nerven, vielleicht wird das besser im Ring. Waller hält dann eine solide In-Ring Promo, die dann in einem Brawl mit Bron Breakker endet. Die Fehde an sich ist nicht verkehrt, auf deren 2. Match freue ich mich aber gar nicht. Beim Gallus Segment hab ich leider gar nichts verstanden. Der Main Event war solide. Hier ging es definitiv mehr um die Storyline rundum Alba Fyre. Wieder war der Main Event ein reines Storyvehikel, dieses mal wurde das Ganze aber mit besserem Inhalt ausstafiert. Das Segment mit Dijak und Wes Lee hat mir nicht gefallen, Wes Lee wirkte zumindest souveräner beim Reden als sonst. Nach ein paar egalen kurzen Segmenten geht es zur Vertragsunterzeichnung für das World Title Match der Frauen. Immerhin stellt sich Booker T dieses mal nicht ganz so in den Vordergrund, der Mann geht mir am Kommentar schon extrem auf die Nerven. Das Segment war solide, auch weil der Split scheinbar nur ein Trick war. Dumm ist nur, das vor dem Titelmatch zu enthüllen. |

Despite being out of action for a brief period, she didn't possess any ring rust whereas her opponent, Indi is still a hard-working improver who's eyeing for a major breakthrough. Chase U was stopped by McDonagh in an uninteresting face-off that led to a decent bout b/w him & Chase. I could see that the scale of McDonagh in NXT has met a steep decline compared to his honeymoon phase. Henley & James worked some strategy as the fresh duo and the "repelling minds" storyline arc works well in teams if looked back at history. Crews took a detour to stay in Hayes' mind after what he did by visiting the café. The challenge for Vengeance Day is set and it sounds like a true test of the future of the brand. Creeds/Gulak & Walker is the show stealer in terms of qualitative action as Gulak felt like a threat since his return even though the story of him & Dempsey was the key factor. Elektra still manipulates Feroz, and it worked in the spar against Wendy while Bron got smacked onto the barricade after a furious altercation w/Waller. Ruca stepped up for Alba but got decimated by Chance & Carter in the tag titles contest which paves the way for an unlikely pairing in Alba & Isla. The summit worked very well for Toxic Attraction's plans of belief & backstab as they outsmarted Roxanne ahead of the PPV. This show focused more on building up Vengeance Day as a solid event and the women had a lot of work to do than the men. Even though the quality is a hard pass, the efforts are appreciable, and I hope the returns of it could be a great range of action in future weekly instalments. 6.5 out of 10 points! |

WWE NXT Hat einfach viel zu viele Frauen in ihren Roster und die meisten könnten Ruhig in's Main Roster aufsteigen, wie zum Beispiel Alba Fyre, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jane usw. Auch die WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Championship's sind absolut irrelevant und kann man aufjedenfall abschaffen. Sonst macht NXT da weiter wo es aufgehört hat. Mich kann einfach leider keine Fehde wirklich mitreißen, außer vielleicht die Fehde um den NXT Championship zwischen Bron Breakker & Grayson Waller. NXT hat so viele Große und gute Namen, aber irgendwie konzentriert man sich zu viel auf die irrelevanteren Geschehnisse. Leider kann ich hier nur mal wieder 2 Punkte verteilen. Es wird Zeit das Dragon Lee zu NXT kommt um etwas Frisches Blut mit rein zu bringen. Hoffe das er dann auch Gut bei NXT eingesetzt wird. Ich verstehe auch ehrlich nicht diese Hohe Bewertung bei dieser Show. |

The build to Vengeance Day is the main focus and everything that was involved with that was handled pretty well although I would have tried to keep tension between Gigi and Jacy active longer. A few enjoyable matches in Indi/Tiffany, Creeds/Drew and Hank, and Katana & Kayden/Alba & Sol. Nice to see the womens division get more of a showcase as they were in 4 of the 6 matches on the show. |
