[8.0] "The undercard tag matches were solid and worked well as previews for the rest of the tour. Catch 2/2 vs. Just 4 Guys was a great fun match where it looked like DOUKI would pull off the upset, and Ospreay vs. Taichi was a fantastic and brutal war. Naito vs. Umino was overall too long and Umino didn't have the star-making performance he needed here."

[8.0] "If not for the disappointing main event this could have been a truly great show. Taichi and Ospreay put on a match verging on MOTY worthy and the Jr tag was very good too."

[7.0] "The main was whatever but the two matches preceding it were both great. The undercard was fine. This is an odd show to rate but I think the great matches were strong enough to pull this an overall good rating."

[7.0] "The undercard I would say was average for new Japan shows. Nothing stood out as incredibly bad or good. The main was kinda long and drawn out which sucked I expected a really awesome match between umino ans naito. Catch 22 v just 4 guys was AWESOME FANTASTIC match 4.75 Stars match of the night. Give it to me any day. Ospreay v Taichi also 4.5 stars is just fantastic, two matches being 4.5+ on the same show is always an amazing thing"

[8.0] "Show that was better then what It had to be. The undercard wasn't a must Watch but the ultimate three matches were on another level and particulary the main event was really really close the five stars. ****"

[7.0] "This was a good show that had two fantastic matches that are worth going out of your way to watch. This tour has done a good job of building up to the featured matches and the undercard continued to do that on this show. The Jr. Title match was fantastic and then followed by an even better Ospreay/Taichi special singles match. The main event is where the show lost me and a lot of other viewers but even though it wasn't very good this was a forgivable misstep from the company."

[8.0] "Both Sapporo shows kind of had the same feel, a solid undercard focused on building to the Osaka show, finishing with some big matches. Catch 22 vs DOUKI/Kanemaru was one of the best Junior Tag Title matches in modern history - Catch 22 have really shined as champs, DOUKI is possibly the most under-rated wrestler in New Japan and Kanemaru is always solid. Ospreay vs Taichi is a legitimate early match of the year candidate. Brutal war, Taichi really isn't getting enough credit for how far he has come. From being an annoying stoogey junior to a top level heavyweight that generally always delivers in big situations. Naito vs Umino was a victim of both unnecessary length and extremely high expectations on Umino after the Ospreay match. Shave 10-15 minutes off and it would have been really good."

[9.0] "A good, solid show. Great O-Khan vs Oskar Leube: Decent match, Leube managed to give as good as he got against an opponent such as Great O-Khan (**1/2). Minoru Suzuki, El Desperado, Ryohei Oiwa & Ren Narita vs Dick Togo, SHO, Yujiro Takahashi & EVIL: A good multi man tag match, Suzuki and Narita teaming for that moment was a surprise (**1/4), TMDK vs Yuto Nakashima, Tomohiro Ishii & Bishamon: A decent preview tag match, Oiwa picking up the win for TMDK was great (**1/4). BULLET CLUB vs Hikuleo, Tama Tonga, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Master Wato: An interesting tag match enjoyed it, Wato pinning Ishimori was a surprise (**3/4). LIJ vs Ryusuke Taguchi, YOH, Toru Yano & Kazuchika Okada: Another entertaining tag match, looking forward to Shingo and Okada title Match (**3/4). Junior Heavyweight Tag Title Match: Great match, on edge of my seat for the second half (****). Will Ospreay vs Taichi: Brutal match, both gave as good as they got (****1/2). Shota Umino vs Tetsuya Naito: What an absolute banger of a match, Umino showed at such a young age he can hang with the best of the best, Naito gained some momentum towards his match with Keiji Muto later this month (*****)"

[7.0] "Good show, that would have been very good with a main event slightly better. Catch 22 vs DOUKI and Kanemaru was awesome, Akira is a freaking monster. Taichi vs Ospreay was a blast, Taichi did a very good performance. Too bad that the main event wasn't better than a correct match."

[9.0] "This was a great event. The undercard did a good job building to the rest of the tour, and then the final three matches were all excellent. Jr Tag Titles are on a level they've not been in ages, Will Ospreay & Taichi capped off a good feud with a classic, Shota & Naito clashed in what could be the start of a long rivalry for NJPW. I don't have many complaints and thought despite being almost 4 hours, the show flew by."
