[4.0] "Ah, the infamous Dynamite after Revolution 2023. I don't think this is the worst Dynamite ever, I've seen worse. But It's definitely a poor one. The main event is bad as it just shows how poorly the TNT title was booked at the time. It was really at an all time low when it came to prestige and I'm glad Christian did such good things with it later on. Apart from the women's match I didn't think anything else was that bad but I can't say I was blown away by it."

Ruby SoHo really established herself as a top women's heel, she gave solid reasoning and really got the crowd to hate her. Ruby might have an awesome run as The Outcasts' leader. Bryan Danielson's promo was excellent, he even got me to be emotional. FTR got the crowd fired up and brought some much needed excitement to the tag division. Hobbs winning his first AEW title was the cherry on the top of a very good episode of Dynamite."

[6.0] "A somewhat disappointing show, especially when it follows the excellent PPV "Revolution". What happens around the new International title is nice but nothing is ever really memorable, as far as women are concerned, I'm still struggling to get excited about a Dynamite match. No promo really marked the show. On the other hand, although the end was a bit weird, I found the main event pretty good. It's hard to put less than average to this match as to the show. There is some good but not enough for what was the best weekly wrestling show. 6/10 (3*)."

I dont think there were any standout matches on this show but most of the wrestling on the show was pretty fine. The Danielson promo was great, and the Ruby promo was simple yet effective, but probably the best the group has ever looked. Wouldve preferred Hobbs to get a big win on his own but it's nice to see him as champion."

[5.0] "This was a weird episode for me, opener was fine, I really enjoyed Rubys promo and the match after was typical of something that would follow a heel turn promo, it did the job it needed too. I was really enjoying JAS vs Top Flight and AR Fox but then it just ended, I feel like it could have gone on another five minutes at least. BCC vs DA was good fun but ended quickly too, I liked the post match stuff, BCC have teased a lot of hellish behaviour here and there and now theyre fully committed I think theyll be great. Danielson promo video was incredible and the best thing of the night for me, also liked Hangmans small promo segment. The main event was awesome before the most baffling finish Ive seen in a while. I wanted to Hobbs to go over and I think QT is a decent heel but to bring him in like that and have him do what he did with the most tenuous build completely took the wind out of the sails of the match for me. Absolutely ruined Hobbs big moment and made Wardlow look a chump, my only hope is that Hobbs immediately turns on QT or vice versa, Hobbs crushes him and goes on a long run with the belt to make it feel like it means something again. So yeah, enjoyed most of the in ring action, enjoyed most of the promos, hated the booking that cut off matches that had momentum and ruined a title change."

MaveDeltzer wrote on 10.03.2023:
[5.0] "A pretty boring episode outside of a few promo pieces. Soho came across as legitimately angry and really sounded like she was venting her frustrations. MJF's video promo was good, and I always like the idea of showing off the battle scars before they have a chance to heal (good move getting Page's marked face on there, too. Not so good having Moxley look fresh.). Danielson's promo was good as well and is a rare example of sappy music actually working well with a promo. It's interesting that Juice is still Bullet Club. They're truly an inter-promotional faction at this point. Not much to speak of when it comes to the matches themselves, and the show ended on a flat note."

[6.0] "It's hard to believe that AEW would squander it's momentum following one of their best PPVs of all time - but this week it happened. No disrespect to Orange Cassidy and Jay Lethal, they had a fine match, but it seemed like a big missed opportunity to not capitalise on the buzz from some of the big matches at Revolution and instead open the show with a rematch from only a few weeks ago. At least it leads into an angle which sets up Jeff Jarrett vs. OC next week. Ruby Soho and Skye Blue had a sub-par match in my opinion but the pre-match promo by Ruby explaining her actions was solid enough and bucked the trend of the "you people" promos having little justification. JAS vs. AR Fox and Top Flight was decent enough but the show stealer was the post match angle setting up the Three Way match for the Trios titles next week with the Elite vs. JAS vs. House of Black. BCC vs. Dark Order was a good little match but I am left confused as to why the feud with Moxley and Hangman is still continuing despite them having what looked like a big time blow off match in Texas Death at Revolution. I am very mixed on the outcome of the main event. On one hand I'm really happy for Powerhouse Hobbs to finally get a title in AEW, on the other hand I am very unsure about what they are doing with Wardlow. Only days after getting his win back over Samoa Joe and he already loses the title. The pairing of QT Marshall and Hobbs is weird to me but I will reserve judgement until I see where it goes. Overall a satisfactory 6/10 episode of Dynamite that really should have been an 8 or a 9 out of 10. Hopefully momentum shifts for AEW in the next few weeks as the product has been fairly cold lately."

Ricky goes from Jericho to Juice Robinson? Hobbs was taken away from Tazz and built back up with all those vignettes to get put with QT Marshall? ANOTHER Orange/Jay Lethal Match? Come on, Tony. Ruby, Bryan, and FTR's promos were the lone highlights here."

[7.0] "Maybe not the ideal show coming off one of their most successful PPVs but the bell to bell work was mostly really solid and I think people are understating how big it is that the All Atlantic Championship is being leveled up in partnership with Shazam 2: Fury of the Gods. Also loved the main event hinging on people (the real ones) remembering deep QT lore from like a year ago. Good episode."

[4.0] "There was good stuff, like most of the Hobbs match. But, do they expect us to remember who Juice Robinson is? How many people they got on this show? Most of the pretape stuff was good, so some points there. Still a very silly show. I don't care oc had a good match with Jay Lethal, he's still a business-killing gimmick that makes the rest of the show look like a joke. As much as I hate seeing either group, the JAS vs Elite stuff was pretty entertaining. Another subpar episode."

[6.0] "As a standard show, it wasn't that bad. But, as the follow up of one of the greatest PPV of all time? Yeah, it wasn't a good look. Really mediocre stuff all around, with the exception being the great promo work from all of the featured workers on the show. Mox, Hangman, MJF and specially Danielson delivered, but I think Ruby's promo deserve more praise than it gets. It wasn't only hearthfelt and truthful, but also well delivered, so much so that it finally made me invested in the, at the moment, lackluster "freelancers" v/s "homegrowns" feud. They should definetly keep her running this kind of promos, and give more power to Toni in that matter, and I hope all of this leads to a bloody conclusion, if they truly want to sell this as an all timer rivalry between factions. Prime Blood and Guts material, and a highway to cement the place of the ex-WWE female talent on the roster. Oh, and I'm not gonna speak about the matches, because everything was mediocre at best. I hope we can go back soon to the weekly 8.0+ matches that some of us are used to; to me, that's what AEW it's all about, at the end. If Revolution wasn't evidence of that, I think the rankings for the past few weeks speak for themselves."

Ending with QT interference was a surprising and deflating choice in the moment, but QT is a good heel and could be a good manager if they're trying to keep Hobbs heel. I would've liked to see more of an idea of where the World Title scene is going and would've liked Page/Mox to be over with, but at least Mox and the BCC are clearly heels now."

[4.0] "Was hoping that Revolution would serve as a bit of a reset for AEWs recent mediocre booking, but this episode proved me wrong. Im sick of seeing Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett every week now, can we get some new people on Dynamite, maybe mix it up a little? Speaking of mixing it up, why are Page & Moxley still feuding? Where is there left to go? Are we going to see a tag team texas death match? Im done with these two feuding now Tony, please book something new im begging. The ending felt like a wet fart, Hobbs and Wardlow both deserve better than getting QT Marshall involved in their match. I liked Bryan Danielson & MJFs promos, easily the best part of the night. The matches were all okay, I expect better from AEW in terms of match quality though."

[7.0] "I'm unsure if I'm here with the genuine unpopular opinion, or this is yet another product of review-bombing. Dynamite this week was a farcry from the quality of the Revolution PPV, and certainly wasn't among the better television broadcasts, but it was solid, each match at the very least watchable (this in spite of what ratings may suggest), and delivered big with two great promos from Ruby Soho and a pretape from Bryan Danielson."
InstantClassic12 wrote on 09.03.2023:
[4.0] "For a couple of months I was considering to stop watching AEW for a while, the PPV convinced me on giving it another chance, but frankly this episode turn my mindset back big-time and it's probably going to be the last I see of it (perhaps PPV excluded). There are too many things that feel stale at this point: JAS, BBC (with Mox and Hangman having a never ending thing where every excalation in the end has no consequences), the TNT belt losing a lot of shine. It really feels like they can't book their wrestlers now that they've established them (it's like they are super afraid of making anyone look weak, but not everything can be a non-ending)."
Beel-zy wrote on 09.03.2023:
[7.0] "A show saved by the non wrestling stuff I guess. The only noteworthy match is the BCC/Dark Order tag. But it is saved by a great promo from Hangman, good promos from MJF and Danielson, a good face off for the trios belts. Ricky Starks vs Juice Robinson is a good filler feud for Starks while he waits for bigger opportunities. Wrestling wise 4/10 but the rest helps it go to a 7 in my eyes."
Rocky7 wrote on 09.03.2023:
[7.0] "Really don't know what a lot of people were watching. Of course it wasn't Revolution, that'll go down as an all-timer, but this was a solid aftermath show. Most of the criticism seems to have been levelled at the opener and the main event, which I felt were fine. Bryan Danielson has "gone away", I think he'll resurface to leave the newly heel Blackpool Combat Club, and QT Marshall is now with Powerhouse Hobbs, the new TNT Champion. Looking forward to the three way Trios match next week."
LockeJV wrote on 09.03.2023:
[2.0] "A horrendous follow-up from Revolution. Jay Lethal gets 10+ minutes every week, while 25+ wrestlers with more upside sit on the sidelines. Zero interest in a match he has no chance of winning against Orange. Sky Blue in another match she has no chance of winning. This is WWF Championship Wrestling at this point, some of the matches are mildly competitive, but jesus christ these predictable matches with the same "TK favorites" every week is getting old. JAS leads to the Elite being stuck in another trios matchup, instead of having them move on into more interesting storylines. Let's continue the Hangman vs Mox feud! Obviously TK can't think of any new ideas, so lets just extend every feud for 6+ months. Hobbs vs Wardlow with the POS I won't even mention was WWE trash. Let's change the name to All Entertainment Wrestling at this point because we're certainly not getting good wrestling most of the time on Dynamite anymore. Good lord."

[8.0] "This was a really good episode of Dynamite (contrary to the overreactions here) where Orange Cassidy vs Jay Lethal turned out to be a pretty damn good opener, where the Falls Count Anywhere match with Wardlow vs Powerhouse Hobbs turned out to be a violently good hoss fight, where BCC officially cemented their heel turn (while Bryan Danielson remained a babyface separately), where they SEEMED to tease Jay White due to Juice Robinson's surprise appearance tonight, where we had a compelling setup for House of Black vs The Elite vs JAS in their confrontation tonight, and where Ruby Soho cut a pretty good heel promo that made plenty of sense."
BEER CAT wrote on 09.03.2023:
[7.0] "I'm gonna end up wishing this + the Winnipeg episode switched places, in the long run. This was the kind of episode of Dynamite that people had been wanting, where the storyline stuff is really established and every match leads to something. But this wasn't the "RAW After 'Mania" celebration of success most people would have wanted after a big, hype PPV. So it's the right episode, at the wrong time? A misplaced effort to fix the post-PPV storyline ambiguity problem? Sometimes 2023 AEW has it coming and sometimes it feels like the company can't win. Confession : I'm a high voter for QT Marshall, since I've seen his crowd work @ NJPW Strong shows and I think he's a real good heater."

The booking of Wardlow continues to baffle - they're killing any interest people had in him, and you can tell by the mild reactions he's been getting. Ending the show with QT Marshall feels like a slap in the face to anyone who bothered watching all the way through. Changes need to be made."

I like Ruby Soho as a heel, think it works more than most. JAS vs Top Flight was decent and it set up what's gonna be an insane match next week between The House of Black, The Elite and JAS. The BCC going full on heel was badass and I enjoyed the tag match. The Main Event was really good and until the ending which was super lame. Such a shame how much they've dropped the ball with Wardlow. He was so damn over. Good show, 8/10"

The promos tonight were excellent all around. Danielson broke my heart. Hangman walks the line of a badass gentleman, I loved it. FTR's promo was too pandering for my tastes, but it popped the crowd and they'll be getting those straps soon, which the division desperately needs. Speaking of, good to see the heat being kept on the Trios belts with a crazy triple threat incoming. Don Callis had me rolling, that carny SOB. Ladies continue to separate into sides. Great night for pushing stories, ok night of wrestling."

Been done before. Ruby's stuff was just not good, she's much better as a babyface and the spray paint gimmick isn't working no matter how much they try to force it. JAS winning ONE match and the Elite losing their title match means they're #1 contenders...okay? Bryan and MJF's small promo packages were cool and the main event was a lot of fun until the dumb as fuck ending. Happy for Hobbs but get QT out of the god damn main event title match when he's been a jobber for months. It's rare that I'm waiting for an episode of Dynamite to end so I can sleep but this was one of them"

Was hoping we would see Kenny back in singles division but I guess not yet BCC fully turns heel but Im sure fans will still cheer for them especially MOX. Also they GOTTA stop that NWO spray paint gimmick with the women. It comes out so faded you cant even see the L that they are supposed to be painting. Really just an odd show honestly especially post PPV which was awesome."
