Die sehr verhaltene Stimmung im Publikum belegt das. Die größte Enttäuschung war der Main Event, auf den viele und auch ich gespannt waren. Völlig zusammenhanglose Sequenzen, in denen mal der eine, mal der andere austeilen darf. Dazwischen teils 30-60 sekündige Pausen, in denen nichts passiert, da hofft der Zuschauer nur noch, dass es endlich bald vorbei ist. Der Trash-Talk war von beiden unterirdisch. Das MOTN war der Opener, wobei auch der im "guten" statt im "sehr guten" Bereich anzusiedeln ist. Insbesondere die Frauen-Matches zünden gar nicht, die Damen sind nicht over und können auch nicht durch ringerisches Können die Leute zur Reaktion animieren. Bei Apollo Crews fragt man sich mittlerweile, wer den eigentlich noch sehen will - und dann auch noch in einem 23 Minuten Match. Die Tag Teams liefern ein Standard Spotfest ab. Insgesamt haben wir also einen guten Opener, viel Mittelmaß in der Midcard und einen miesen Main Event - mangelhaft für einen PLE. |

I've always been really attached to NXT since I started watching in 2015 so I just went back to what I liked but I really liked the product. Some weird booking decisions but it survived the rebrand and the white and gold looked much better and NXT was cooking. But this show was ass. Two horrible tag title changes, a few boring matches and a solid women's title match that leads into the thing that made me stop watching when Toxic Attraction broke up on the NXT episode after this. I enjoy overreacting okay? NXT is great still but this made me mad at first. |

Hayes and Crews was OK but could just as easily have been a one-fall match, the Women's Tag Title match was OK but unremarkable, and the main event, while not awful, seemed to confirm that - while Breakker doubtless has a bright future - he was probably put in the main event scene a bit too soon (and/or just doesn't have strong in-ring chemistry with Waller). Not a bad watch but the show does peak early. |

Mir fehlt jegliche (emotionale) Bindung zu diesem Produkt, daher fand ich das hier allenfalls durchschnittlich. Den Opener fand ich noch ziemlich gut und es freut mich, dass man mit Dijak nochmal einen neuen Anlauf nimmt nach dem Desaster mit Retribution. Die anderen Matches sind sicherlich alle in Ordnung aber ich war einfach nirgends drin. Es war mir fast egal, was da passiert, dementsprechend ernüchternd ist auch meine Bewertung. |

My expectations were set for a tightly knit fight, but those were surpassed resulting in the blazer we witnessed. I'm fine with Lee retaining as he needed this kind of a marquee defense in his reign. Chance & Carter lost the gold much of a surprise to the misfit duo of Henley/James who are improved individuals. Their story of being mismatched yet focused on the target is a standard plot which works fine all the time. I'm curious to see how it rolls while Chance/Carter could get a promotion. Crews & Hayes bettered their performance from the last time in a successful stipulation that has given many improvements of several bouts. The interruptions were kept apt even though Dabba-Kato's return was lightweight. The four-way tag was explosive as expected but missed more of it due to the holdback of all teams from the eventual burst of a sprint. Gallus winning was expected by a chunk of fans who impose as great villainous champs. Roxy finally had her marquee defense in the form of a solid contest which was partially a 2-on-1 affair thanks to Toxic Attraction. Now that the split has become evident, I'm interested to see Dolin & Jayne's run as solo acts. The main event was the weak link due to lack of intensity in the story & miscued chemistry in the ring. The dominance of Bron has become stale from here leading to the winds of change's expectations rising higher. For the return of a full capacity PPV from the developmental circuit, this is a strong edition even though the hype was a bit high. I sense that Stand & Deliver will be better in all aspects and the road to that PPV looks pretty good. 7.5 out of 10 points! |

The women's tag team match was a run-of-the-mill affair; not much else to say about it other than it had ordinary tag team match psychology accompanied by average wrestling (**1/2). The best two out of three falls match was aggressively uninteresting; seriously, I can barely remember what happened and I only just finished watching this show. For a match that went nearly 25 minutes, that is a most impressive thing to do (**). The men's tag team match was better than the women's one, but it was still only decent. There were some fun spots, but I find NXT's characters to be so over-the-top that I cannot take them seriously, while simultaneously deriving no amusement from their antics. Still, it was the second best match on the show (***). The women's championship match was a slightly below average bout. It had a simple story of the two heels turning on one another, allowing Roxanne to pick up the victory; but, I thought the three wrestlers were moving in slow motion. I am very much baffled by Roxanne's choice to wrestle with a lucha-influened style because her offense looks slow. While her bumping is good, her offense needs serious improvement (**1/4). As for the NXT Championship main event, I thought it was a bad match. WWE's cage matches are always lifeless, and this match was no exception. The offense was lacking in impact, and it did not feel like either guy had much hatred for the other. Bron in particular is very generic; he is just a second-rate Rick Steiner tribute act at this point. And, of course, like all WWE cage matches, we had to have the perfunctory 'one guy throws the other guy off the top of the cage' spot. A bad end to a dull show (*1/2). |

Die Stage war mal was neues und NXT kommt endlich mal aus ihrem Zuhause raus. Die Crowd in Charlotte, North Carolina war schon sehr Heiß auf den Event das konnte man merken. Die Show beginnt mit Wes Lee vs. Dijak welches ein unglaubliches Match gewesen ist! Wes Lee und Dijak hauen hier alles raus und haben eine Gute Chemie miteinander im Ring. Beide wurden wirklich gut dargestellt und Lee gewinnt am Ende durch das eingreifen von Channing Lorenzo & Tony D'Angelo, die beide Dijak ablenken (****1/2). Das NXT Women's Tag Team Championship war schlecht und auch die Story interessiert mich leider überhaupt garnicht. Man sollte die Titel einstampfen. Carmelo Hayes vs. Apollo Crews war absolut Inordnung. Am Ende des Matches attackiert dann der Rückkehrende Dabba-Kato seinen ehemaligen Weg Begleiter Apollo. Die Fehde brauche ich zwar jetzt nicht unbedingt, aber hoffe das Crews als Sieger aus der Fehde hervor geht. Denn Dabba-Kato braucht wohl niemand im Ring (***1/2). Das NXT Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way Match hätte mir besser als "Elimination" Match gefallen. Aber so war es natürlich auch gut und sehenswert. Das Gallus hier gewinnt finde ich ist der richtige Schritt. New Day ist zu viel auch mit dem Main Roster auf Tour um Dauerhaft bei NXT da zu sein. Deshalb geht der Titelwechsel zu Gallus vollkommen inordnung (***3/4). Das NXT Women's Championship Match war dann das 2. Beste Match an diesem Abend. Sehr guter Aufbau, Sehr gute Story und Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne müssen sich einfach langsam als Tag Team wirklich trennen. Beide sind als Singles Wrestler in der Women's Division bei NXT eine echte Bereicherung und das sollte man ausnutzen. Vielleicht auch erstmal mit einer Fehde gegeneinander (****). Naja das NXT Championship Match war dann das absolute Lowlight an dieser Show. Ich weiß ehrlich nicht was ich sagen soll. Bron Breakker & Grayson Waller sind einfach die größten Namen (Vom Aufbau her) die NXT zu bieten hat, und die beiden nicht bei diesem Event in den Main Event zu stecken wäre ein absoluter Fehler gewesen, aber beide sind für mich einfach bei weitem keine Main Event Wrestler, die um den Main Championship von NXT kämpfen sollten. Ich finde Bron Breakker sollte man Mittlerweile in's Main Roster hochziehen und Grayson Waller in die Mid-Card von NXT stecken. NXT fehlen einfach diese großen "Indy Wrestler" Namen wie so ein Dragon Lee (Der btw nicht bei dem Event auftreten konnte dank Visa Probleme) oder ein anderer eben. Carmelo Hayes, Apollo Crews, Axiom, JD McDonaugh und so weiter. NXT hat Haufenweise von talentierten Wrestlern Mit NXT Championship Material, aber wirklich viel machen sie nicht daraus. Aber man darf auch nicht zu kritisch mit NXT umgehen, sie sind jedenfalls wieder bei den meisten Sachen auf dem richtigen Weg und mal schauen wie es nun weitergehen wird. Finde 6 Punkte sind angemessen. |

Ich weiß auch gar nicht wie man so eine Show bewerten soll, wo eigentlich nichts wirklich schlecht war aber als Ganzes gesehen total langweilig daherkam. Nach einer Stunde hab ich mich gefragt wann der Event endlich endet, weil es sich so sehr zog und einfach nur Standardkost geboten wurde. Am besten war noch der Opener mit Dijak und Wes Lee. Wenn man die Show ausgelassen hat, dann hat man auch nichts verpasst. Gepflegte Langeweile. |
