[6.0] "Not a show I really saw a lot of hype in at the time and a bit of an underwhelming way to get Jericho and Omega as opponents in their hometown. The opening match was pretty good and the latter two were solid. Nicole Matthews getting as little as she did was a big disappointment."

[8.0] "Great show: the opening segment was amazing with everyone playing their role very well (even Guevara) and paced perfectly with a hilarious ending. Hope this will lead to a fatal-4-way. BCC vs. Dark Order and Adam Page was great but the ending felt a bit rushed to me. With a better ending my vote would've been higher but it's still a great trios match, full of good moments. BCC winning by cheating was unexpected and I loved it. Taya Valkyrie's debut was great, hope she wins the TBS championship and puts an end to Jade Cargill's reign of terror. OC vs. Jarret was okay and the Outcasts promo was alright. The main event was very good, highlighted by the amazing crowd. Some good spots and moments (especially between Omega and Jericho) and the right winners. The post match gave me goosebumps. Best Dynamite in a while!"

[9.0] "I really liked this episode. The card delivered quite a bang, even though I hoped better for Cargill's open challenge. The highlight of the evening was surely the Re-Bar Mitzvah. That was completely silly, Rabbi Jacob vibes, but the three other pillars wanting the fourth one was a great shot, each other having his reason, while MJF invited them to go fuck themselves. The upcoming weeks centered around the World title will be something."

[5.0] "A mostly very mediocre episode. MJF's re-bar-mitzvah segment with the other 3 young pillars' was pretty good and probably the best part of the whole show. Obviously MJF has by far the best delivery, but all of them had some pretty good lines. Darby's pro-individualist/pro-AEW message was especially nice to hear despite his somewhat mediocre delivery. Page, Uno & Grayson vs Claudio, Moxley & Yuta was a generic but alright multi-man tag. I appreciate how the BCC are more outright heelish now, and their beatdown work was decent. Uno is still way too trashy to take seriously, but Grayson put in effort and Page was decent. ***. Juice's pre-recorded promo was decent. Jade's jobber match was as pointless and forgettable as they all are. TS;NR. Jade getting challenged by Taya Valkyrie was very underwhelming, and a match between them has a real chance to be an absolute dud. Starks' backstage promo was short (like Juice's) but delivered very confidently. The QTV segment dunking' on Wardlow was very dorky with the "we're being satirical so it's okay if we're devoid of value and have immensely unlikeable characters" approach. Cassidy vs Jarrett definitely had issues but it was mostly alright. Jarrett's self-indulgent heel work was very entertaining, and his in-ring work was more than acceptable. Cassidy interestingly kept his schtick to a minimum and actually told a good story with his injured leg. I didn't like the massive overbooking at the end, especially with ref Aubrey making herself the centre of attention as she always loves to do, but I still found this enjoyable. ***. The Acclaimed's promotional music video was random but fine. The Outcasts' segment was meh. The Outcasts' themselves feel forced but they're getting decent heat. Got to say I despise the visual of RIho, of all people, leading the charge to run them off, though. I'm sorry, but she looks totally unthreatening and unbelievable. The 2.0 goofballs gave a typically goofy promo that gave me 0 reason to watch their Rampage match they were hyping up. The 3-way trios match was very underwhelming. I'm generally just really over these generic multi-man spotfests AEW gives us each week, but this one was extra disappointing because we had the extremely washed-up Jericho getting 10x the spotlight he deserves and dragging down his far superior opponents, plus we got the long-past-their-prime Bucks spamming the exact same spots they do week after week. Every other spot and multi-man sequences in this match was likewise very uncreative and unengaging, even if not outright bad. Imagine having Omega and Black but choosing to completely waste them in completely forgettable matches like this? **1/2. The forced and melodramatic post-match stare down between Page and The Elite against the BCC was very hokey, and I don't know if I'm actually interested in seeing that Elite and Page relationship explored again."

[8.0] "Very good Dynamite, every moment was good or very good. We could have expected more from the main event but this match and the opening angle are still very good wrestling moments, especially for a weekly show. I don't know Valkyrie but seeing Cargill disturbed makes it interesting. And it's all in a quality atmosphere. 8/10 (4*)."

[6.0] "Maybe I was just really tired but this show seemed quite flat for me considering it's part of a rare venture into Canada for AEW. There were several times throughout the show when I couldn't tell if they were stalling for an ad break or the match itself was just that uninteresting. I think this episode had several of the things which are a general turn-off for me: Matches with too many people in them, squash matches which really don't accomplish anything, and long crowd brawling segments. On the plus side, with most of the show not really being that interesting, the opening four pillars angle and the WCW vs NWO angle we're seeing in the women's division both stood out more. I'm sure Britt and Jamie coming out in all denim was some kind of WCW reference in itself."

[10.0] "One of the best episodes of Dynamite ever. Opening with what has to be the best opening segment they ever did with the 4 Pillars. Can't wait to see them in a title match and I'm glad they are doing it while Max is champion. Amazing opener, Jade match was more of the same and Taya Valkyrie debuted (I'm so excited for her run), Cassidy vs Double J was awesome, especially because everyone thought Jarrett was winning, great promo by The Outcasts and the AMAZING main event! Crowd was hot through out the show and elevated it even more."
SKeL wrote on 17.03.2023:
[8.0] "I think there was too many insiders reference during the show and the QTV thing drags Hobbs down, but apart from that it was a very good Dynamite overall, the two hours flew by ----------- I was scared that jeff jarrett may win the international title but he lost and the match was a lot of fun, I really liked the opening segment and the idea of the "four pillars" having a 4-way match for the belt, and BCC vs Dark Order was really good it's nice to see Stu back ------ The main event was disappointing for me but it still was a good match maybe my expectations were too high, and the Elite/Hangman reunion tease at the very end of the show was a great surprise that no one saw coming, a really nice way to end the show (even if it did not have time to breath xD)"

[6.0] "Dynamite is such a weird show. I usually enjoy the wrestling aspect of the show, but the angles/segments on the show usually don't do much for me, especially as of late. The opening segment was not good and that was because it ran too long with only one good talker who didn't even get to say much during it! I thought the opening match was fine but it continued the BCC heel path so it succeeded in that. The Jarrett/Cassidy match was good, and I thought the main event was great. The outsiders' content wasn't good again this week shocker! I do not care about another elite reunion they seem to do it every other month but there are some interesting matchups within a feud with BCC."

RavenCrow75 wrote on 16.03.2023:

Matt Macks wrote on 16.03.2023:
[8.0] "Quite a good show overall, which primarily worked for me because of the great opening segment with the four pillars and a couple of fresh new directions and starting of storylines with potential. Both the main event and the opener were fun matches and I did like the Cassidy/Jarrett match as well. Jarrett, Lethal and Dutt are doing such a good job as comedy old fart midcard heels and I do enjoy their plans getting foiled very much. The show ran out of time in the end and their rushed their Hangman/Elite moment a bit, but it still worked. It's great to get those four back together, if at least in storylines, as they did their best work in AEW together."
Cal1641 wrote on 16.03.2023:
[6.0] "Mostly a good show minus QTV and the main event, however nothing really got me super excited at the same time. MJFs bar mitzvah was fun and the four pillars stuff was okay, Darby was the standout out of the 3 potential opponents for MJF imo. The opener and the OC vs Jeff Jarrett were both good. Jade Cargill finally has a somewhat credible opponent to fight. Looks like we'll get a womens trios match next Dynamite which should be okay. The main event disappointed for me and its clear there was too many bodies to make it work, the post match segment was the best part."

Orange Cassidy was fixing his hair in the Figure Four Leg Lock. Some good set-up segments but nothing mind-blowing."
benny5bellys wrote on 16.03.2023:
[7.0] "A very good show brought down by a mediocre main event. MJF was great and it was obvious where they were going with the pillars. Sammys character is an absolute mess and he would do better to just shut up especially if he tries to babyface himself by doing the nonsense meta stuff about being Jerichos bump buy and pin eater. Rest of the show was good and I am a massive mark for Double J and genuinely gutted he did not win."
eltetechori wrote on 16.03.2023:

Neverlove619 wrote on 16.03.2023:
[6.0] "Passing episode for me. It was a head taller than black, but still far from a perfect release. I liked the opening of the show. The ending, in general, too, she hopes that she will sleep. But everything that was in the middle can be safely squandered, you will not see anything interesting there."
Kbnueve wrote on 16.03.2023:

gaycolumbo wrote on 16.03.2023:
[8.0] "A thoroughly entertaining episode that would rate even higher if not for a couple of terrible booking decisions 1. Having Jade Cargill squash an indie vet that probably would have been able to drag a good match out of her then using that squash to set up the debut of one of the worst active wrestlers and 2. having Jeff Jarrett lose the leveled up International Championship."
BuffKitty93 wrote on 16.03.2023:
[5.0] "There were definitely solid matches and moments throughout the show but it was one of those shows where you kinda already knew who was gonna win every match and the sad TBS championship match was a letdown. Love Taya Valkyrie though so it's good to see she's going for the belt next. Favorite match was Orange vs. Jarrett, regardless of how people feel about Jarrett as a person he's still good in the ring and knows how to draw heel heat."

[10.0] "Fantastic episode, incredibly good. The setup for the four pillars 4-way, the continuation of the outcasts feud AND AN ELITE REUNION WITH HANGMAN TEASE? Fucking incredible. The matches were all pretty great as well (except Cargill's squash match but yknow whatever) and I'm hyped to see whats next. I've never felt more excited for AEW programming than after this episode."

[10.0] "Alright, I'd like to expand more on my rating here. This is honestly the best Dynamite episode that you could possibly get without having CM Punk and Bryan Danielson around. We had the AWESOME ending where the Elite heavily teased a full reunion of the Elite (without Cody Rhodes obviously) in order to fend off from BCC. We had the EXCITING opening segment where the 4 Pillars of AEW are actually going to compete against each other for the AEW World title (along with the fact that ALL 4 men delivered on the mic too). We had the official debut of Taya Valkyrie where she'll be a really good addition to the women's division now that it's confirmed that she signed with AEW. We had the return of Stu Grayson where he was arguably the MVP of that excellent 6-tag match with BCC vs Adam Page/Dark Order. We had a surprisingly pretty good match with Orange Cassidy vs Jeff Jarrett for the International title. We had a tremendous main event with House of Black vs The Elite vs JAS. Lastly, we had Riho actually saving 2 former rivals in Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker from an assault from the Outcasts. Plus, she brought 2 other OG/non-WWE women along with her too. Overall, tonight was an EXCELLENT episode of Dynamite."

[8.0] "Probably a top-three "AEW Dynamite masquerading as WWE Raw" episode. I will always be a fan of hometown boys overachieving in front of a hot crowd, the Stu stuff was pure good vibes. I've wanted this PILLARS COLLIDE thing since MJF won the title and the whole talk-off clicked. If this was the peak of the Jarrett arc then God bless, wonderful to watch him redeem himself and put on all those heat-getting master's classes. Knocks are the fact that I was worn out from having to watch those three entrances before the main (and then going right to PIP) and forty freakin' seconds of women's wrestling does not cut it on a two hour show, especially after the scant offerings at Revolution. Also QTV was completely fine, let wrestling be goofy."

[9.0] "Great episode that shined in it's segments and story telling this week. The couple of downs for me first: Orange retaining. I'm just over his reign. All the pieces were in place to protect him more than necessary in loss so why delay again? Jade needs to lose the belt to Taya as fast as possible. I'm even more over Jade than I am Orange. ALL THE REST WAS GOOD. I loved the opening segment with the Pillars, just great stuff, especially Darby calling out the dudes whining in the back on Twitter. The ladies segment was way better than normal, Toni got a chance to finally explain her motivations, and Ruby was great too. Riho gets a pop as always. I thought the QTV segment was silly and fine. Glad that he's getting a proper challenger in Fenix. The Trios matches were both great fun, if imperfect. But that ending though. That ENDING, oh it's got me hooked."

Billy Boy wrote on 16.03.2023:
[4.0] "What the fuck was that ending! ? Overbooked to hell. BCC and Dark Order had no business being out there to begin with. I feel like Tony just needed a way to push a storyline that has already happened before. And why did they end the show right as Hangman was turning towards The Elite? They couldve at least cut after. Anyways, way too much interference in the Jarrett vs. Cassidy match. It just dragged on and on until it wasnt fun anymore. TBS title match was short but whatever those matches usually are. One word summary: Meh"

You cant have your heels always talking and never hear from the faces. And of course the Jade squash was whatever. Im admittedly not familiar with Taya. Not sure she wins the title, but at least Jade seems to be getting an actual feud where the opponent is an actual threat."

The teased angles between the Four Pillars as well as The Elite vs BCC show promise though, so there is at the very least the promise of a light at the end of the tunnel for this mediocre run of Dynamites."

However this show had 1 good match, 2 great matches and 2 good promo/angles in 2 hours. Plus the main event had 2 hometown legends."

[7.0] "A difficult show to rate, as there were some great high points and also some pretty awful stuff. There was some great stuff in the opening segment, but a 20 minute segment like that is far too long. The QTV segment was weak, the Outcasts thing isn't working, and having less than 45 seconds of women's wrestling on the show is outright unacceptable. The good stuff was two and a half out of the remaining three matches being very good indeed, and had they improved the finish of the main event and added at least one more proper match instead of some of the nonsense it could have been a great show. As it was, it was still good, but far from the best Dynamites."

[8.0] "Show was bookended by a great opening promo and terrific closer post match brawl that makes me SUPER interested in what is to come. Would prefer Nicole Matthews have more time against Jade but happy Taya made her appearance. Opening trios match and main event were exactly what I enjoy from multi men with a lot of action. OC/Jarrett in terms of ring work from Jarrett was not great but Jarretts shenanigans are so stressful its entertaining. He makes you put the fear of him as champion in just about any title match he has in AEW with his cheating and I enjoy it as long as he doesnt get a belt. Rest of the promos were fine but again, opener and closer of the show have me absolutely hyped for the future programming of AEW."

And the ending with Hangman turning around for the Elite was just amazing. Great crowd. That Omega pop was really big. And I'm not a huge MJF guy, but the re Bar Mitzvah was some more old school fun."
