[6.0] "A filler show, something to expect since it was taped due to the holidays. First match was pointless, second match was awful, Rey and Angel Garza put on the best pure wrestling match of the night, Bray Wyatt story continues derailing and the Main Event was fun. Nothing impressive here, but it did have some good stuff."
[8.0] "As I commented on the match tab I really enjoyed the main event which brought together many of the elements that make me enjoy wrestling. The Gauntlet was pretty well done despite the risk of discrediting some of the women in favor of Raquel. The opener was really bland, like what Hit Row has been doing for the last few weeks. The Wyatt/Howdy storyline leaves me rather doubtful this week but everything can improve very quickly. And as far as Rey Mysterio is concerned, I wouldn't be surprised if his rivalry with Kross turned out better than the Drew vs. Kross rivalry. A nice show despite its opener. 8/10. 4*"
[4.0] "This was a one match show, the main event was a lot of fun but everything else was bad exept the Mysterio match wich was ok but too short. Hit Row continues to suck, Bray Wyatt continues to be Bray Wyatt, and the smackdown women's division is a disaster"
[7.0] "A perfectly acceptable Christmas smackdown, the bloodlines opening promo was very entertaining, Emma bitchslapped Scarlett is very interesting and i always enjoy seeing Rey Mysterio do his thing, the new slingshot ddt finish is awesome!"
[5.0] "A bang average Christmas show, and a taped one at that, pretty much like they expected a smaller audience. No really bad matches, but certainly nothing worth seeing, and it's telling that even in the Triple H regime, they only see people like Emma and Tegan Nox in a certain light, only getting a couple of minutes each with a prelim wrestler in Xia Li. I'd argue SmackDown may actually have the worst women's roster of the main televised promotions."
[6.0] "Solid show this week. The women's gauntlet match was my favorite this week. All the other matches were solid too and the Bray Wyatt segment having him lose his mind and then tease the Fiend by using the Mandible Claw was good to see."
[8.0] "Another good episode of SmackDown. The opening promo with The Bloodline was good. Sami showed a lot of passion and sold his hatred for Kevin Owens really well. Hit Row VS The Usos was very, very middling. Not a bad match but it was clear The Usos needed to slow down for Top Dolla, who spent most of this match getting his ass kicked before eating the pin. The women's gauntlet was a mixed bag. Xia Li looked good during her time in the match, though squashing Tegan Nox 3 weeks into her run is certainly a choice, while Emma getting squashed wasn't quite as bad seeing as she has a story with Karrion and Scarlett brewing. Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez put on one hell of a match, easily the highlight of the gauntlet. Sonya got some shit in then lost to one move. Shayna was a surprise final entrant but immediately got rolled up because that's what she's there for. Raquel looked good here and she gave Ronda one of her better matches this year so I have some expectations for the match next week. Bray Wyatt stuff was fine. I personally love Wyatt but he really needs to start wrestling to maintain any interest in this run. Rey Mysterio and Angel Garza had a good sprint. Backstage segment with Emma and Scarlett was good. Main event was typical WWE holiday affair, and it was fun. Overall fun show."
