[7.0] "A decent opener (not that much of a decent Title match), a pretty good (but hella overrated) IC Title match, a nice sprint with a funny botch in the Tag Team Match, LA Knight carrying Bray Wyatt of all people, John Cena making a hell of a promo. A very solid show this week."

[7.0] "A good Smackdown overall. With an excellent Intercontinental Championship match and a fun announcement of John Cena returning, Smackdown continues to prove to be the A show of WWE. What stops this show from getting a better rating is the goofy Uncle Howdy segment and terrible Triple Threat match."

[8.0] "The opening tag match was good, but that ending wasn't good at all. The two video packages to hype up the IC title match were good, and the match most definitely delivered, one of my favorite WWE matches of the year. La Knight has impressed me in this feud, but Bray just isn't doing anything for me, that Uncle Howdy stuff is garbage. Cena is at his best whenever he just cuts over the top promos, loved that final segment match should be good"

[9.0] "Superbe show. Un très bon opener, j'aime vraiment ce que fait Liv Morgan depuis quelques semaines. Match fantastique entre Gunther et Ricochet qui était un opposant très crédible. Petite déception sur le trios tag match notamment en raison de ce botch un peu trop voyant et à un moment important du combat. Le segment de Bray a enfin permis de remettre de la tension. Quant au segment final de la Bloodline, j'ai bien évidemment poppé devant l'apparition de Cena. 9/10. 4* 1/4."

Womens Tag Team Title Match was great, but the ending when the hooded figure got involved (***), IC Title Match was insanely brilliant, on par with Gunther vs Sheamus back at Clash At The Castle (*****), Three Way Tag Team Match was the weakest part of the show didn't enjoy it much (*3/4). Bray Wyatt and LA Knight segment was creepy but fun to watch. The Bloodline segment at the end was great, John Cena appearing was ashock"

[6.0] "I often say NXT is the funniest wrestling show on TV but this week Smackdown gave it competition. The ending to the triple threat tag match, the Uncle Howdy segment, the mysterious attacker in the women's tag match being revealed to be Xia Li on Twitter (! ) and .the super odd Cena promo were hilarious. The Gunther vs Rico match was fantastic and tag match was good for the most part"

[8.0] "A GREAT smackdown. One fantastic match, one good and one acceptable. Story progression between Bray and LA. Cena being announced as Tag partner for Ko in two weeks is very exciting."

[8.0] "Pretty good Smackdown. I wish Raw could be this smooth. Opener was pretty good, a title match, with a mystery assist. That's fun and exciting. There could have been more matches on the show, but they were mostly quality, and they all had stakes. The IC title match was very good and love seeing both of those guys. Another week of Bray Wyatt's spooky that hasn't made it to the point yet, months later. It's all entertaining, but dragging. LA Knight is fantastic, really winning me over. I've missed most of his career, but he's an exceptional promo. Bad tag match, but at least it had stakes. Unfortunately the worst team won. Hit Row isn't great, The Viking Raiders are boring as pizz, and LDF are fun, Zelina stands out like a star. However, they quickly recovered from that with The Bloodline. Super entertaining, big feel, and huge ending with John Cena showing up on the tron announcing that he'll be wrestling on the last Smackdown of the year. Good throughout."

[7.0] "The Intercontinental title match was great, the women's match pretty good, and most of the rest of the show filler. Which is often the case when they film two shows in one night, but it really showed here. Had it not been for that one great match it would have been a very missable show. Oh, Cena's back. Yay..."

[7.0] "The IC championship match and the Bray Wyatt/LA Knight segment were good, but everything else was your average weekly stuff."

[9.0] "As always, this show would be a lot heavier if I watched it live. Watching it on tape I see what I want to see and enjoy it much more. Despite there being few wrestling matches, there are stories to tell and that's good. The Bray Wyatt thing is starting to get tiring as is that decision to have Hit Row win that triple threat, anyway. The best, Gunther vs. Ricochet. And also something important is that John Cena will be back."

[6.0] "It was decent. The women's tag had some clunky moments and the main event was good with a sloppy finish but the Ricochet and Gunther match definitely was the best one on the show. Good to see Cena back for a match in a couple weeks."

[8.0] "Great episode. Opener was great. Bray Wyatt/LA Knight stuff was fun, but they gotta hurry up a bit with this feud. Bray's rollout has been a bit too slow and it's time for him to wrestle. This storyline can't last until Royal Rumble. Gunther and Ricochet had an excellent Intercontinental title match. The 3 way tag was fine overall but Top Dolla had a really bad night. The main event angle, which was built up to with various backstage skits throughout the show, was very good. The Bloodline story can take so many twists and turns right now and I'm so excited to see what's next. That excitement was amplified when John Cena was announced to wrestle his first TV match in almost 4 years. Really good show overall."

[8.0] "Top Dolla aside, a very good show this week, although your mileage may vary on (a) Uncle Howdy being a real thing (possibly WWE discovering Bo' Selecta! 20 years late), and (b) wasting a mystery hooded wrestler angle on Twitter. Other than that, the opener was very good, GUNTHER/Ricochet was really good, and we got the announcement that John Cena is keeping his 20 year streak of wrestling alive on the very last show of the year."
