[6.0] "A pleasant show but without any outstanding moment and with some still weak rivalries. I thought the main event deserved a good 7/10 (3 1/2 *). Some segments are a bit ridiculous at times (isn't it Mr. Bernal). And the gimmick of Kiana James seems to me a bit outdated in 2022. The selection of the participants to the Iron Survivor Challenge was rather well done."

[7.0] "Roxanne & Hartwell started the show in a solid bout while Dijak returned to the ring in a sparring match. Hudson & Waller had a fine match in terms of action, but the storytelling held the match tight as entertaining. Henley & Kiana meant the aggression they showed to each other in an astounding battle as same as Bernal who contended against the returning Axiom. The former's rambling came to a halt here despite a pretty good outing. Breakker met Crews in the usual café and delivered a natural exchange of words heading to the friendly combat on the PPV which is rare as of recent. Julius & JD were almost burning a hot rod tussle until the sensible yet irked finish. Blade was crumbled by Wagner thereby being eyed by Odyssey Jones who's about to teach a lesson. The whole process of selecting the Iron Survivor combatants felt natural with viable options discussed without any silly verses since Road Dogg & X-Pac were present. The lineup looks strong with two wild card bouts set for the remaining favs to fill in the final spot. The main event was a decent bout that had little interest to pay attention even though there was a nice heat build for Stark. This was an almost solid show that could've been better in certain moments. There was a pretty good progress in the Breakker/Crews saga as well as the unique stipulated special whereas it can't be said for other feuds that are slowly developing. 6.5 out of 10 points!"

[7.0] "Solid show, my personal highlight was the announcement of Aoife Valkyrie returning, now known as Lyra Valkyria. The majority of the lineups for the Iron Survivor Challenge were announced, with good reasoning demonstrated in deciding who to pick, although all the men announced are heels, and Roxanne Perez is the only babyface so far in the women's match. Matches ranged from OK to good."

[7.0] "Not an amazing show but at least a show that allowed matches to breathe with a lot of newer talent getting more of an opportunity at close to 10 minute matches rather than 5 minutes or so. 5 matches on the show went roughly ten minutes which is a bit of a rarity for NXT TV today. They were not all great but I can at least appreciate the dedication to that amount of ring time. Some steady build to Deadline although I found the talking in the back to drag a bit. Axiom/Javier or JD/Julius would be my MOTN. Enjoyable show overall."

[7.0] "Good show this week. I liked the Grayson Waller and Duke Hudson match for as long as it lasted and I can't wait to see if Duke turns on Andre Chase next week in the wild card triple threat match."

[8.0] "NXT is an exceptionally campy and corny show, and that can be seen as a positive or a negative to a lot of people. For me, its great. This weeks show had a lot of fun stuff with the interplay between Bron/Apollo, the weird round table segments, Big Body Javi. NXT really does feel like a show where they are experimenting with everything about the presentation of a wrestling show which makes it an infinitely fascinating watch."

[7.0] "I enjoyed this show and thought it was the best episode since the original rebrand well over a year ago. The show didn't actually get of to a good start though as I thought the opener pretty much sucked. After that though there was a good run of matches starting with a nice showing from Dijak in a stiff squash match, although his post match promo wasn't great. Duke vs Waller did its job and the Duke/Chase U storyline continues to hold my interest. Kiana vs Fallon was really enjoyable and my match of the night, closely edging out Axiom vs Jobber Bernal which was also a really good match with an impressive showing from Bernal. JD vs Creed was a fine if unmemorable match with a nonsense finish. The good run came to an end with Wagner taking on Blade in a sloppy mess of a match that nearly saw Blade dropped on his head/neck. The main event had ups and downs and an abysmally botched finish, but was fast paced and fairly enjoyable. Of note away from the ring, JD had an entertaining interaction with Diamond Mine. There was a vignette for Aoife Valkyrie who is coming to NXT as 'Lyra Valkyria'... Pretty Deadly gave a typically cringeworthy backstage interview and claimed they were going to tell a christmas story next week, oh joy... There was a goofy breakfast meeting between Breakker and Crews that was so bad it was good. D'Angelo is cleared to wrestle and came to an understanding with Dijak in the parking lot, he also wants to take the NA Title from Wes Lee and I'm all for that. There were multiple segments throughout the night with hall of famers discussing who would be in the Iron Survivor match, unfortunately the segments didn't do much for me and were ultimately a waste of time. I previously mentioned Kiana vs Fallon was my MOTN, but performer of the night has to be Jobber Bernal, who in addition to a great showing in his match with Axiom, also had another entertaining backstage segment as his feud with McKenzie, which has really become a highlight, continued. Bernal displayed his new merch, all of which McKenzie picked apart, including his own personal scent, Big Body Cologne that, according to McKenzie, smells like rotten eggs. They are both playing their roles to perfection, a thoroughly entertaining segment and an all-round great night for Bernal. There are still problems, but overall NXT has really picked up for me recently, it's so much more enjoyable than Raw and I'm way more invested in the stories and characters."
