Takeshita ist jetzt All Elite, wundervoll. Schön ist auch, dass er schon etwas englisch sprechen kann um kurze Interviews zu geben. Starks vs. Cage war dann vollkommen in Ordnung, war aber jetzt auch nichts besonderes. Das Starks gewinnt war vollkommen klar. Das Beste Match der Pre-Show war dann natürlich deren Main Event. Das war eine wunderbare Liebeserklärung von Kingston ans japanische Wrestling. Kingstons Promo im Anschluss war unverwechselbar Eddie Kingston in Reinform, herrlich. Ich hatte meinen Spaß. Und so war das eine wirklich gute Pre-Show die Bock auf den PPV macht.
904.09.2023Telecine6.0Das Highlight bei dieser Show ist auf jeden Fall das Match zwischen Eddie Kingston und Jun Akiyama. Hier erklärt sich dann auch, warum die beiden in ihrem Tag Match bei Rampage so wenig Interaktion hatten. Sie wollten sich offenbar noch ein wenig für den PPV aufsparen. Die kurze Promo von Kingston nach dem Match bewirbt dann den PPV wesentlich besser als es Excalibur, der im Schreibmaschinenstil die Card herunterrattert, je könnte. Die beiden anderen Matches waren in Ordnung, aber auch nicht wirklich mehr, als wir bei Dynamite oder Rampage jede Woche zu sehen kriegen.

1626.12.2022Sandmann7.0Gute Zero Hour. Im Gegensatz zu vielen mochte ich auch den Opener. Gutes Ten Man Tag Match. Schöne Face/Heel Dynamik zwischen den Teams. Gute Laune mit Danhausen und Cassidy vorprogrammiert. Die Heels, und gerade QT, machen auch einen guten Job. Schöner Beginn der Show. Starks nächste Hürde mit Cage stand dann an. Das war ein rundes Match. Die Geschichte das Starks durch die ganzen Big Man muss wurde auch gut weiter erzählt. War ne nette Sache und ordentliches Wrestling. MOTN der Show natürlich der Main Event. Kingston bekommt endlich seinen Dream Gegner. Und dann legen beide auch direkt los. Choppen und suplexen sich gegenseitig durch den Ring. Crowd ist auch voll mit dabei und am Ende sieht man Eddie auch an wie glücklich er damit ist. Toller Main Event.

Every match entertained the crowd in its own style & set the tone for the rest of the show on a positive note.

Let's go! Eddie Kingston cheered us up well for this!

The "New" Danhausen was very nice and very evil and his pump kick victory was awesome for me, since id been a fan of him for around 3 years. Ricky Starks vs Brian Cage was a mess, if I'm being honest. The first 5 minutes has them repeating spots, me and the friend I was on call with said Cage must have forgot the spots. Rest of the match was pretty good however. Eddie vs Akiyama was a fucking 10 outta 10 tho, it was a pure unadulterated banger and it made the show much better. Id say the Zero Hour is a solid 6 outta 10, good preshow for my favourite ever AEW ppv

4021.11.2022Robert Taylor7.0Wenn man davon ausgeht, dass eine. Pre Show Lust auf die Hauptshow machen soll bzw. mich zum Kauf jener anfegen soll, würde ich sagen, dass der Zweck hier erfüllt wurde. Ich hatte den PPV zwar schon gekauft aber diese Show hat mich sehr gut eingestimmt. Ein paar nette Highlight Videos, Opener ganz nett, ebenso Starks vs, Cage und dazu ein emotionaler und guter Main Event mit eine herzerweichendem Promo von Kingston nach dem Match. Ich hätte direkt mit heulen können.

4221.11.2022Sebastian V7.0Was mir an dieser Pre Show gefiel war zum einen, das jedes Match anders war, zum anderen die Konstanz und zum dritten die Matchlängen denn kein Match war zu lang aber jedes lang genug, dass auch etwas gezeigt werden konnte. Das erste Match überraschte mich gleich mal positiv weil es doch unterhaltsamer war, als ich gedacht hätte und ein anständiger Start. Das zweite Match war dann erwartet anständig und das ME war dann sogar mehr als anständig und das MOTN der Pre Show für mich und auch ein guter ME der Zero Hour. Mehr als anständig fand ich die Show auch als Ganzes, sodass ich 7 Punkte für angemessen halte.

I'm just not into The Best Friends at all, but QT always gets a nice reaction for a heel. The match between Starks and Cage was decent, but I'll say having Page on commentary added nothing. Kingston had a fun match with Akiyama, though I don't like that the one person he doesn't beat up after winning a match is Akiyama. I really don't understand why Kingston is treated as a babyface the way he's been acting toward enhancement talent. I think Eddie is great on the mic and having him hype the show before the pay per view is a good idea.
