[9.0] "Both Men's and Women's NXT Tag Team Title matches were whatever and the main event, as solid as it was underdelivered, but the NXT Women's Title ladder match is great, Gargano Vs Waller is brilliant and the NXT North American five way is spectacular. Overall NXT Stand And Deliver is an amazing show and a really great way to kick off WrestleMania Weekend (2023)."

[7.0] "A solid card where the match of the night had to be the North American Title match. Waller/Gargano also really delivered and had some really great spots but all in all the whole show seemed pretty average and some matches were pretty standard and typical. For this being the biggest show of the year for NXT it didn't really provide very memorable moments even though the in ring wrestling was pretty solid. Solid 3 star show."

[8.0] "Really good show! Theirs some highs and lows, but the ladder match, the nxt championship and gargano vs waller was good, the nxt north american championship very good. Good wrestling, I really enjoy it. It's nice to see some improvements from "NXT pure guys""
DanTalksRasslin wrote on 07.04.2023:
[6.0] "This had some definite positives - Gargano vs. Waller was a good grudge match, the five-way North American Title match was entertaining, and it was cool to see Hayes - an alum of my local indy scene - claim his biggest title yet, while Breakker had perhaps his best match to date. The Tag Title 3-way and the Women's Tag bouts were fine but not as remarkable, while the Women's Title ladder match didn't seem to come together to me as much as I would've hoped (and fortunately Tiffany Stratton seems to be OK after splatting on the floor; we didn't need another ladder match injury this weekend after what happened to Dante Martin on the ROH show). A show with its highs and lows, that comes out to a bit above average."

packjutney wrote on 03.04.2023:
[7.0] "I think this was a stronger takeover like card for the new NXT. Obviously nothing like the old black and gold brand, but there were some BANGERS here. That 5-way and the unsanctioned match had me on the edge of my seat. Only real "let down" was the main event, which was solid. Might not have been the MOTY candidate that it was being hyped to be, but it still did a good job getting the belt on Melo, and that's a real W. Overall, solid show."

Derek Joists wrote on 02.04.2023:
[7.0] "Two great matches in the middle and a very good ladder match to start were the high points of the show, but the two tag matches were dull, and the main event didn't click. I don't know why Indi won the championship after being cooled off for months, Roxy should have retained unless she's being moved up, but if not just about anyone else would have been a better choice. Also, Wes Lee is a boring champ and, again, just about anybody else would have been better. That aside it was a mostly enjoyable if uneven show."
boymeetsworld wrote on 02.04.2023:
[4.0] "Watching this show from start to finish is a waste of time imo, but if you're cherry-picking, Waller vs. Gargano is worth your time - it was a really good match with great individual performance by Waller. I found 5-way underwhelming, but I think it's also worth your time if you're a fan of any of wrestlers involved."

[4.0] "A passable show at best. Nothing worth talking about even a few hours later. The two best matches on the show were also very middle of the road and the rest of the show was amateur hour and just plain bad"
RosVer wrote on 02.04.2023:
[7.0] "NXT, a developmental brand remember, cannot survive on match quality alone. It needs characters and heavy stories. Triple H and Shawn Michaels are still trying to find the balance and that shows. Apart from Gargano/Waller and the Womens' Ladder, everything else ranges from OK to pretty average. Others lacked the story (North American Title match) and others the match quality (main event). Vic Joseph and Booker T did a solid job on commentary with good charisma, while Pretty Deadly offered an entertaining act as hosts. MOTN certainly goes to Gargano vs. Waller."
arrancar wrote on 02.04.2023:
[4.0] "Take away that MOTN 5-way and this would have been a pretty awful show. As it stands, it was thankfully just 'plain bad' at worst. The women's 6-way ladder match was pretty bad. Imagine your generic indy ladder spotfest with all the usual logical shortcomings that go with it. Now throw in even more contrivances, even less creative and athletic feats, and even sloppier interactions. Even should-be over babyface Roxanne looked like a total geek, too. **. The tag title 3-way featured a lot of action, but none of it was remotely compelling. Every spot and exchange was very contrived and ultimately super mediocre. The 100% uninterested crowd definitely didn't help. At least each guy tried their best to work hard, I guess. **1/4. The North American Title 5-way was really good. It was definitely pretty contrived at times, but it was also still a great display of chemistry, athleticism, and creativity, with each guy getting plenty of time to showcase how impressive they could be. That the crowd was even still dead for *this* match gave me second-hand embarrassment. Anyways, if you want to do a spotfest then you do it like this, not like the previous 2 matches. ***1/2. Gargano vs Waller was a standard boring and overkill Gargano match. Gargano's acting and offence continue to be wholly unconvincing, while Waller was pretty dull himself and easily could've been replaced with anyone else. They had many generic weapon/prop spots and then some wannabe epic' big-move trades and kickouts. They were competent enough to not be outright bad, but not competent enough to make this actually good. **3/4. Fallon & Kiana vs Alba & Isla was pretty poor, featuring sloppy chemistry and weak, painfully generic, and overly cooperative offence. There was absolutely nothing tying any of their various spots and sequences together, and there was also some pretty cheesy attempts at acting. **1/4. Bron vs Carmelo was alright, and definitely one of the better matches of the night behind the 5-way. It was a decent powerhouse-vs-high-flyer story, with Carmelo looking good with all his (mostly) smooth stunts while Bron was fun with his mindless jock-style dominance. The issue was that at times they seemed to get a bit lost, allowing the crowd's interest to die down, or their spots and exchanges would just come off as rather mediocre. There was also a lame finish off of a ref bump and interference. Despite those issues, they never did anything overly absurd or eyeroll-inducing, so I managed to enjoy it more so than not. ***. It seems pretty clear that NXT still sucks overall, but there are also clearly quite a few really talented guys who have unfortunately ended up there alongside the others, and hopefully they can start being showcased more consistently."

[8.0] "The weekend of WrestleMania has launched in style! A fun-filled contest in the kick-off show, a starter where all women shined with an out-of-the-box yet deserving winner, a rock-solid tag team breather, a frenzy highlight reel of sheer athleticism from the North American title combatants, a barbaric fight of personal vengeance that benefitted both sides, another much-needed breather from the women and a strong box-office main event; everything was put in perfect order with the perfect results. It's about time we saw new champions in Alba/Isla and Carmelo as well as a huge surprise in Indi. So excited for them to see with the gold as well as the existing champs in Gallus & Wes Lee on how many exciting rivals will they encounter."

[6.0] "This was a solid show, that wouldve been good or great if the World Title match was actually better. The 5-way and Gargano/Waller were both really good with the MOTN being the 5-Way. The rest of the show outside of that was fine, with the only real two bad matches being the tag team matches."
ParkwayDriver wrote on 01.04.2023:
[8.0] "Probably the best of the 3 specials NXT has done on the road since 2020. The NA title match and Gargano/Waller were both great, Gargano/Waller being my MOTN. The ladder match was good and had a nice moment with Indi and Dexter that translated into a nice moment with Gargano and Candice. The mens tag title match I thought disappointed a bit and was clunky. Womens tag title match struggled following the NA and Gargano/Waller matches but was largely fine and I was happy with Alba/Isla winning them. Bron/Carmelo I thought was a pretty good but not great match. It was better than either of their matches at Vengeance Day at least. Bron had a very good run with the title, one that I dont think he gets enough credit for, and hope that Carmelo has a good run."
Some Guy wrote on 01.04.2023:
[8.0] "The NXT Women's Title ladder match was very fun with a surprising winner (8/10). Both of the Tag Team Title matches were simply okay and each were sandwiched between far more important matches (4/10 for both). The North American Title five way was good, but it could have been better as it did get sloppy and come across as a spotfest at times (8/10). Gargano vs Waller was easily the best match on the show, for sure Gargano's best performance since returning and Waller's best singles match (9/10). The NXT Title main event was pretty good, though compared to some of the other matches on this show it felt lacking; Bron seems destined for the main roster and Carmelo is the new top guy in NXT (7/10). Overall, NXT Stand & Deliver was a good show to kick off WWE's long weekend of wrestling. 8/10"

Pertinax wrote on 01.04.2023:
[8.0] "Almost Takeover-level quality. A few sloppy moments threatened to diminish the quality of the show but I think the performers did well to work around them and still deliver quality matches. The crowd might've been the biggest thing holding it back. They weren't as rabid as the Takeover crowds of old which led to some real lull periods in matches which kinda sucked. Most of the in-ring work was excellent though. Definitely a great appetizer for WrestleMania."

[8.0] "I don't like NXT White and Gold. It' only shit on the One and only NXT, the black and Gold. It's only a bit Better than the 2.0 bullshit but this show wasn't so bad for me. We got an almost five stars and two solid ****1/4 while that could have been better (especially the main event), the rest was forgettable so I'm not going upper 8, also the end with Breakker shaking Hayes hand After he fucked him was really awful to see. ***3/4"

[9.0] "This was a great ppv with two 5 star classic in the unsanctioned match and the 5 way match, you also have a good women's ladder match but this ppv suffers from two average at best tag team match and a underwhelming main event."
TheJoshiFan wrote on 01.04.2023:
[6.0] "A solid show HEAVILY carried by the 5 Way and Unsanctioned Match. The two tag matches were absolutely dreadful and boring to put it kindly, which is quite the far cry from when the tag title matches used to be some of the best matches from Takeovers. The opening ladder match was ok, but you could clearly tell none of the women in the match were ready enough to partake in a ladder match, which led to that horrifying bump Tiffany took, hope she's ok. The main event was extremely underwhelming for how hyped it was by the company, seemingly a pattern for Bron Breakker title matches. Thankfully, Melo is the new champ and hopefully will steer the brand in the right direction."
li0nsault wrote on 01.04.2023:
[8.0] "I had a good time watching this show, it definitely was a great event to say the least. Some interesting result, two absolute bangers, and the end of one of the worst things to ever happened to NXT (of course I'm talking about Bron's reign). I'm satisfied, and I think this was a great kick-off for WrestleMania weekend."
Rocky7 wrote on 01.04.2023:
[7.0] "Better than the last one, I'll give it that much. The North American five way was the best match here, while we had Indi Hartwell, Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn and Carmelo Hayes all become new champions. But yet two matches somehow rated better than Vikingo/Komander. Really?"
gaycolumbo wrote on 01.04.2023:

texasyosh wrote on 01.04.2023:
[5.0] "There's really no reason to tune into NXT anymore, and this show further cements that. Putting the title on Carmelo Hayes was objectively the correct choice moving forwards. MOTN to me was Gargano and Waller, but even then, it was less than stellar. If you like PWG spotfests of yesteryear, you'll like the 5-way NA title match. HBShizzle doesn't have it, I'm afraid."
Matthew23claw wrote on 01.04.2023:
[8.0] "Very good show, best NXT show since Deadline which was also very good and while not as good as the original NXT Takeovers it's safe to say the NXT PLEs are in an era where they're pretty good again (definitely better than current weekly NXT TV). Two excellent matches in the NXT North American 5 Way and Grayson Waller vs Johnny Gargano, two other very solid matches in the main event and the women's Ladder Match and the tag team matches were not great but they were also fine."
Dcarter1153 wrote on 01.04.2023:

Not even the best matches of the weekend lmfao. A let down but not surprisingly piss poor main event and ur only as good as that...sure two 4.5 star matches but the rest belonged on a weekly episode DEFINITELY NOT a ppv"
Makoto92 wrote on 01.04.2023:
[3.0] "Show with only one clean finish is not a good show. I understand, that many fanboys and fangirls from the internet loves, when their favorite flippy guys win no matter how, but I don't like it. 3 points only for clean finish in NA title match."
MJC13 wrote on 01.04.2023:
[8.0] "Very strong show overall. This card featured two genuinely incredible matches between the NA title 5-way and Waller/Gargano. Beyond that the women's title ladder was a great way to open the show, and the main event, although it didn't reach the heights that other matches on the card did (and I don't love the ref bump/cheating to win finish), it delivered a great moment with Melo winning the big one. The two tag title matches were fine enough, but didn't really feel like the belonged on the card with the other matches. The crowd also wasn't as hot as you'd think, they popped for the big moments and the closing stretches of matches, but it felt like at times the wrestlers had to work that much harder to get the crowd into it. All in all an entertaining show and a great precursor for WrestleMania."
lukasmgc wrote on 01.04.2023:

[9.0] "Two MOTYs on one card and a very good main event. NXT brought it tonight and the future is bright for NXT going forward. This event is must see and every wrestling fan should watch the Fatal Five Way and Unsanctioned Match at minimum. I would have given it the 10 spot if not for the dead crowd that only seemed engaged when they wanted to be. Despite that, this is a great card and a wonderful afternoon of wrestling. Looking forward to Mania Night 1, but this is a hard follow for sure."
