[6.0] "Not a good show but I gave it a few extra points because of how the new set looked (and how much better it looked than the old set). Ultimately, though, a very forgettable show other than the debut of the new set. The ECW-Lawler promo totally flopped."

[5.0] "I was really disappointed with this show. There are some good things with the show where the storytelling and set up for Wrestlemania is decent. Sid and Undertaker falling apart in the main event of the show was quite fun and chaotic. The chaos around the WWF title picture with next weeks cage match was told quite well. Austin/Bret/Shamrock's promo was decent and Lawler's crusade against ECW continuing was a good moment. Chyna also gets to display her freakish strength by throwing male referees all over the place. A very large chunk of the show are very poor matches though, especially compared to last week. Most of them are not only subpar, but it is absolutely infuriating how we keep getting split screen interviews every damn match and theres just no focus on actually calling the in ring action. This was a problem on Raw for weeks, but it's at its worst here. The first ever RAW IS WAR has its moments, but it just doesn't come together properly in my opinion."

[7.0] "The first RAW is WAR, so a good piece of history here. It was clear here that they were still struggling to fill two hours, moving up from one hour a month prior. The AAA tag in the first hour is an example of that, even though they had a great roster that could have just put on a good long match. This is also a week after the fantastic Bulldog/Owen match. Loved the presentation of Chyna here, she was booked like Brock Lesnar. Bret promo I really enjoyed, he's such a heel despite being a babyface. He would turn 13 days later officially. The ECW debate was also a great watch, a prelude of what was to come with the Attitude Era. There were a lot of matches that didn't mean anything on this show. It was clear the show was made for angles, and matches were an afterthought - but here's a bright idea - how about making a match into an angle?"

[6.0] "A good first RAW is WAR for me. Action wise the show is poor, with the main event being obviously the stand out. Enjoyed the Marlena and Chyna brawl. And I actually enjoyed watching Lawler and Heyman go off script in a worked shoot."

[7.0] "Strong historical value as the first show under the 'Raw is War' name and the first use of the Titantron and ramp setup. A very promo heavy episode with the in ring work clearly starting to take a back seat in line with the new creative direction."

[5.0] "First ever Raw is War episode and it was little disappointing. This show has many promos (some are pretty good) so there are no really good matches. I really enjoyed debate between Heyman and Lawler. Main event is just acceptable. I can't forget the damn hair of Miguel Perez."

[4.0] "A weak show before Wrestlemania 13, the feuds were struggling except for Stone Cold vs Bret Hart, which was interesting. The ECW segment between Lawler and Heyman wasn't good as it could have been. There are also too many undercard matches with jobbers."
