[8.0] "This show was excellent from a storytelling standpoint and while for the most part the wrestling is also decent I have to say I find it frustrating how the WWF never seems to focus on the in ring action, especially when the Owen Hart vs Flash Funk match happens where the split screen stuff is so excessive it destroys the flow of the match! Still though the main highlight is the Bret Hart vs Sid match with the episode long storyline of them trying to get the match started with Austin stopping it from happening twice! It ends up being a decent TV main event with Austin again interfering and costing Bret the title, which rubber stamped Sid vs Undertaker at Wrestlemania for some reason. While it could have been executed better, Lawler challenging the ECW guys and then Paul Heyman calling the show was a pretty cool moment you would probably never see again from the WWE today! This show also follows up the previous night's shocking debut for Chyna as she comes out and attacks Marlena again."

[7.0] "Strong episode of Raw. The shock title change to Sid and the whole leadup with Austin trying to get to Hart all night and ultimately costing him, Chyna's TV debut, and Jerry Lawler starting the feud with ECW all make this a noteworthy and entertaining episode."

[7.0] "This was an easy Monday Night Raw to watch. The match of the night was definitely the main event, though if you can get past all the distractions the flash funk vs Owen Hart match was good too. The promo work was fine, and kept the show flowing well but there wasn't too long of stretches without matches either so it was a good balance. 7/10"

[8.0] "This is an important episode of Raw. Bret Hart vs Sid with the surprising change after a day, and some good Wrestling. There is also a focus on a mini-feud with ECW and a call from Paul Heyman. One really good show."

[9.0] "This Raw is seriously all kinds of awesome. It's pretty funny how hard they try to keep Stone Cold heel too even during this Raw by having him messing up the WWF title match on multiple occasions. Bret and Sid put on a really good match but Sid & Taker is kind of just set up at random following Sid's title win. Also, I don't get why they made the Fatal Four Way for the title, they should have just made the winner wrestle #1 contender Sid for the vacant title on Raw. Guaranteed new world champ=ratings. Leif Cassidy got an Intercontinental title shot? ECW got it's first exposure on WWF tv when King randomly rants on about he's sick of people holding ECW signs in the audience and he challenges anybody from ECW to show up to Raw next week, Heyman accepts later on over the phone, very awesome segments. Goldust is in better shape in 2013 than he was in 1997. The crowd seemed very unsure about face Goldust. Chyna had just debuted the night before and attacks Marlena. King wails "That's a woman? " and JR calls her "an Amazon black woman". Early Hardy Boyz appearance taking on the Headbangers."
