Plus points that aren't associated with previous shows would be Chanyota putting in a good performance and showing some star potential, Lady C demonstrating some improvements to her game and Ancham and rhythm being instantly likeable. I feel this NB probably works best if you view it as a 'storyline event'; it's enjoyable but it exists mostly to put elements in place for future events. Finally, very nice to see Hanan's reign end on a good match and with her losing to the right person. |

| 16 | 21.10.2022 | RamsCGN | 7.0 | Auch diese New Blood Show fand ich super als Zeitvertreib und aufgrund der kostenfreien Verfügbarkeit bin ich da auch jedes Mal etwas gehypter als bei den regulären Road Shows von Stardom. Opener fand ich für Momo recht stark, auch rhythm konnte mich abholen. Das Tag Match dann war auch überraschend gut. Freue mich darauf, falls Suzu mal den Weg nach Europa machen sollte. Von Ancham will ich jetzt mehr sehen und Lady C war auch stark, da sie mir sonst im Stable etwas untergeht. 6 Women Tag war okay, leider nicht so doll wie erhofft. Sakurai/Chanyota für mich ähnlich, wobei Letztere mich shapewise sehr an Reika Saiki erinnert hat. Das zweite 6 Women Tag hat mich verwirrt... Brauchte Umesaki das Rebranding, fand den Look etwas gruselig. Auch dass GE hier verliert und mit dem neuen Member und dem späteren Titelgewinn als vermeintlicher Tagessieger heraus geht, finde ich schwierig. Ich mag alle Stablemitglieder, aber GE hängt für mich zu sehr in der Luft aktuell. Mainer war stark und zusammen mit dem normalen Tag Match für mich MOTN. Freue mich schon auf die nächste Ausgabe von New Blood. Vielleicht ja dann auch mal mit Thekla. |

| 20 | 20.10.2022 | Suzukigun | 7.0 | I still haven't watched New Blood 4 and didn't watch this one live, but decided to watch it the next day because I had some free time and curiosity. For the most part my curiosity was rewarded. The opening match and Chanyota/Mai were both okay for the most part, but the final minutes of each match made them decent enough overall. Suzu and Ancham vs. Lady C and Hanan surprised me, as everyone looked good and got to showcase their skills within the eight minutes allotted to them. The first six man tag was out there and a bit extra, but the thing most people will remember is Linda's whip. The co-main was long but fairly good, highlighted by Tomoka and SLK, with Haruka's ongoing arc of going from Nanami's side to OT's side reaching its climax. It was a good example of showing that stories can happen and can progress within New Blood shows. That was furthered in the end when Nanami joined God's Eye afterwards. I didn't watch New Blood 4, but I heard that Tomoka did the same after her match that show, which means that God's Eye recruiting people at these shows is another ongoing story. The main event was fairly good and the first time a New Blood main event had actual stakes, which was cool. The result was as expected and the right one, as Hanan's reign ends against someone who is promising but also higher on the card than she is. Ami will probably get a long reign, but I hope she defends at future New Blood shows too. This was an overall enjoyable show with several storyline developments, more than usual New Blood shows and made me excited for New Blood 6, which I didn't expect when I started watching it. I guess it exceeded my expectations, which is why I'm giving it a 7. |
