[6.0] "Unlike it was the case in the first half of 5 Star Grand Prix, this show had zero formulaic/copy-paste matches, every match had it's own simple story. Watanabe vs. Suzuki was the MOTH, it was just a really good match that played into Suzuki's strengths. SLK vs. Shirakawa and Nakano vs. Sera were matches that stood out more than others."
[9.0] "With that incredible run of last 3 matches, and the crowd being so damn good, this was another great show. This 5Star Grand Prix has been exceptional."
[8.0] "Constant interference in the main event aside, I can't really complain about anything regarding this show. Everything else either lived up to or surpassed expectations. The opening tag featured a lot more Utami than I thought it would, and the end result was also a surprise. Koguma/Unagi was one of the most surprising matches of the year, as there was no comedy in this match and it was a flat-out action-packed sprint. Saki vs. Mai was fairly good for a six-minute match, while Mina/SLK was yet another really good match from both, with the loss and aftermath further adding to a potential boiling point for Mina. Giulia vs. Ami was also very good, albeit with a predictable result. I liked Mirai and Saya's rematch more than their title encounter, as it was shorter and had virtually no filler. I even like the end result, as neither really needs the win or can afford the loss, and both get a well-deserved point. I loved Tam vs. Risa, as they told an organic story where Tam came across as really sympathetic, while Risa was the relentless antagonist who did whatever she could to bring out the craziness from Tam. The main event was really good at times, but the constant interference kept disrupting the flow, and the end result eliminated a fan favorite from the tournament. It was the only thing that soured me at all during this show, but I can't let it affect the grade, especially since the story made sense and the ending was fitting, even if people may not like it. This was an 8/10 show for me, featuring some really good matches, with the co-main being one of my favorites of the entire tournament. This show looked impressive on paper and for the most part, it lived up to expectations."
