[9.0] "This is the first Best of the Best I've watched in full and damn. This shit is awesome. Everyone in this tournament were on their A game. Super Dragon and Kevin Steen had some great matches. Plus a cameo appearance from DEADLOCK Pro Wrestling's John Blud (the dude front row in the Chris Hero shirt)."
[10.0] "I could write more than 5000 characters on this wonderful event, but the short of it is that it is an extraordinary show, with almost all matches being good to excellent, a high competitive level that picks the best of wrestling around the country, outstanding performances from guys like El Generico, Kevin Steen, Claudio Castagnoli and Mike Quackenbush, and a wonderful conclusion with the most deserving winner getting his emotional catharsis, one of the best indy wrestling tournaments of all time."
[7.0] "1. Dragon/Bosh: *** ¼ (great opener. Dragon is a huge guilty pleasure of mine) 2. Generico/Excalibur: ** ½ (solid, well wrestled. ) 3. Hero/Thomaselli: ** (unremarkable. Hero during this time is an acquired taste to put it lightly) 4. Steen/Kenny: ** ½ (Just, ya know, a good match. ) 5. Quack/Cannon: *** (Quack's wrestling style can get very awkward but these guys wrestled each other enough to be able to pull out a pretty good match) 6. Claudio/Frazier: ** ¾ (Claudio's matches at this point could get kinda rough but this was a surprisingly very good match) 7. B-Boy/Sabian: *** (Sabian and Ruckus are two weird wrestlers to me. Their styles are so unrealistic at points yet they still manage to put together entertaining matches. ) 8. Ebessan/Webb: ** ¼ (Not as funny as I would have hoped. Wacky finish that is resolved later in the night) 9. Dragon/Generico: *** ½ (Fucking great. Dragon beating the shit out of Generico, yet Generico continuing to survive, is just the best. ) 10. Steen/Hero: ** ¾ (These guys had way better matches in the years to come, but this was totally okay) 11. Quack/Castagnoli: ** ¾ (Far from their best match, but still very creative. Sometimes wacky, but eh. It's expected with that wacky CHIKARA style) 12. B-Boy/Ebessan: ** ¼ (Eh. Totally average match) 13. H8 Club/Hyde&Klein: ** ¾ (Fun brawl with too many unprotected chair shots for no reason, though Justice Pain does get to enjoy the most fun form of assault with a chair in the history of wrestling. Must be seen. Nick Gage fucked-up their finish here though) 14. Eddy and Webb/Ruckus and Kingston: *** (good match that told a good story. Insane tiltawhirl backbreaker onto the top turnbuckle from Ruckus onto Eddy. Move of the night arguably) 15. Quack/B-Boy/Steen/Dragon: **** (Just a well wrestled match that I enjoyed, maybe only needed to have the order of eliminations shifted around) Overall, Very very long but filled with good to really good matches and ending with one great match."
[6.0] "Chris Bosh vs. Super Dragon was a good tournament opener. ***1/4. El Generico vs. Excalibur was an alright match. **1/2. Brandon Thomaselli vs. Chris Hero was ok. **. Kenny The Bastard vs. Kevin Steen surprisingly wasnt too bad. **1/2. Arik Cannon vs. Mike Quackenbush was alright. **1/2. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Derek Frazier was good. ***. B-Boy vs. Sabian was good. ***. Ebessan vs. Nate Webb was alright. **1/2. El Generico vs. Super Dragon was a good hard hitting match. ***1/4. Chris Hero vs. Kevin Steen was alright. **. Claudio Castagnoli vs. Mike Quackenbush was pretty good. ***1/4. B-Boy vs. Ebessan was ok. **. Justice Pain & Nick Gage (c) vs. DJ Hyde & Toby Klein was quite boring and was too long. *3/4. Eddie Kingston & Ruckus vs. Nate Webb & Sexxxy Eddy was alright. There was a gnarly spot where Ruckus hit a tilt whirl back breaker on the turnbuckle. **1/2. B-Boy vs. Kevin Steen vs. Mike Quackenbush vs. Super Dragon was ok, but was a little slow at times and went on for too long. **1/2. Overall was an alright show but was quite long."
