[2.0] "NXT was once essential viewing for wrestling fans, now "NXT 2.0" is just unwatchable. Stereotypical, borderline offense gimmicks, bad promos, forgettable matches, and wrestlers so green they shouldn't be in front of a camera.Ugh."
[6.0] "NXT graduates and currently WWE stars were able to pull the show to a better level. 2.0 is no longer able to cope with this on its own. Wrestling was weak, and the stories developed in a lazy way. The interactions of various brands added to the watchability of a rather weak show."
[7.0] "A show that improves at times, but the fights, many of them, were very irrelevant, or rather, they did not contribute much more, however a great PPV of NXT vs NXT UK is expected"
[7.0] "A very solid episode of NXT 2.0. It really helps with the build up to NXT Worlds Collide. The little cameos by former NXT (UK) wrestlers were really well integrated into the show. There were some good fights (and some pretty average stuff) but frankly, it's still a better episode than the ones of the last few weeks."
[6.0] "They did a good job of introducing some new people and building up the crossover event coming up at the weekend, but the wrestling itself was nothing to write home about."
[3.0] "Main event was solid. Rest of this show should stay off camera. NXT has a ton of great talent but it's produced so horribly. It feels like they hired an old cinemax adult film team and just handed the keys over. Honestly hope this gets retooled away from whatever it is. Absolute garbage tv in an era where WWE is firing on all cylinders."
[6.0] "Pretty average in terms of NXT a lot of cool cameo spots though for past NXT and NXT UK wrestlers. Andre Chase vs. Charlie Dempsey was my favorite match. I honestly didn't expect Chase to win so it was cool to see him get the W."
[4.0] "A skippable episode. There were no bad matches but no good matches either, they were all average, give or take, and just there, although I would have liked Kiana James vs Stark to get more time, I think James has potential and she's a goofy but fun character. Worst match of the night was the women's tag title match, it wasn't a disaster but Nile has a long, long way to go. The main appeal to some might be the cameos from former NXT/NXT:UK stars, but to me a lot of them came off as forced and I just don't buy into the 'high stakes' of 'brand supremacy', it was nice to see Shayna though as it's been a while and she cut a good promo on Mandy Rose. The highlight of the episode was Jordan Devlin's promo while the lowlight was the seemingly endless Joe Gacy segment, he droned on and on forever without really saying anything, it was awful and boring. Ricochet appeared at the end of the show to challenge Hayes for Worlds Collide and show that he can cut a promo, despite claims for years that he can't. That should be a good match and it's the only one on the card that really interests me."
[8.0] "If I had to rate it by the matches? 6/10, it was an alright show when it comes to the matches, nothing neccesary bad, nothing way too good, just alright matches, but the importance of this show that makes me to give todays NXT 2.0 the rate 7.5 [8], segments, they were amazing, we saw: good video package of Meiko, even better Finn Balor with Bron! Tyler with Pete Dunne! Tyler with freaking WALTER (Gunther) We saw Shayna Rhea Ricochet Ciampa, Devlin promo was fine, Joe Gacy and Cameron were fine too and the brawl after main event match, it was just very, very decent NXT 2.0 when it comes to the segments, matches? alright, simply one of best shows of NXT 2.0 because of the importance of the segments, we got NXT legends talk about the legacy of NXT and the Championships in NXT reminding about the history of them and history of NXT it was just a pleasure to watch."
[9.0] "A very good episode. I have great hype for Worlds Collide. I think hayes vs ricochet is a potential 5 star match. Breakker vs Bate can do a very good job and the women have a good limelight. Little match construction maybe, but the story is one, two brands vs."
[7.0] "If you like cameos, this episode was the one for you. We had Finn Bálor, Fit Finlay, Butch (via Face Time), Shayna Baszler, Gunther, Rhea Ripley and Ciampa, plus Doudrop, Nikki A.S.H. and Ricochet getting themselves onto the Worlds Collide card. This all built up Worlds Collide pretty nicely, putting stakes on both NXT and NXT UK (RIP) to win their matches. The matches weren't any great shakes this week though. I did laugh when Nathan Frazer said that Axiom had never been in NXT UK and wouldn't know what Heritage Cup Rules were."
