09.07.2025 | Smi-48 | 4.0 | With the strange split between Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez, which did a lot of damage to the tag team titles, these now feel worthless belts go to the hard-working Chance & Carter. During Hayes' Open Challenge, Fabian Aichner in the Vinci gimmick is nicely duped by Nathan Frazer, but this probably deprives us of the more interesting match. Breakker and Devlin sign a slightly bloody contract, while Toxic Attraction screech around backstage at the rolling gate, making your ears ring. Rose could then deflate in the ring, but delivers an embarrassingly weak match against Sarray instead. Duke Hudson pre-treats Axiom and still fucks up the match. This is paradoxical nonsense and makes no sense. What does make sense is that they finally move forward with the big bang between D'Angelos and Legado, even if it puts us back in the starting position months later. Gacy defeats Jensen because his entourage is smarter than his opponent's. Watching Alba Fyre try to get something useful out of Lash Legend is agony. Sikoa doesn't fare much better, although the stipulation at least gives him a useful crutch to hang on to with Von Wagner. Some light, more shadow.

13.08.2022 | yngzax | 6.0 | An average show for NXT. Carmelo Hayes & the Creed Brothers offer some really cool things to see but on the other side, Mandy Rose still sucks. Pretty uneven in terms of talent but hey, it's NXT.
10.08.2022 | PavelDragunov | 6.0 | Axiom is still not the development option for A-Kid. The phone showdown between D'Angelo And Santos is just great (haha), I hope their story ends abruptly. Breakker & McDonagh is stealing the show for the second time with their confrontation, as a result, this is a big plus for both of them in their careers. Chance & Carter have clearly earned titles, they can raise prestige if given time. Mandy Rose is still a terrible champion. As a result, I rather liked the show and in general I hope for more freedom for NXT with Vince's departure.

04.08.2022 | Prince Osborne | 7.0 | The opener was a pretty good showcase for Feroz & Leon/Nile & Paxley in the first half and progressed very well with the final battle that crowned Chance & Carter as the new champs rightfully. Vinci almost challenged the call from Hayes but Frazer flew past him and took the chance to leave an impression despite losing the bout. The eventual clash between them is ought to be great as expected. Breakker & McDonagh had a fine exchange of words where the psychological war by the latter continues to a bizarre level. Sarray had all the chances in the world to prove her mettle but got stuck in the mess of not getting a proper shot because of Mandy's reign of terror not opening up chances & crushing the expected dethroning moments. Axiom had a surprise squash against Hudson sustaining his prominence while The Creeds had a pretty good defence of the tag titles against D'Angelo & Lorenzo with a great return of Santos Escobar. Jensen got laid out by Gacy furthering his chance of adding Grimes to his ranks while Alba silenced the loud mouth in Lash for good. The main event was a fun action packed match that used the atmosphere wisely with cool spots and great crowd synergy. Sikoa winning was the right choice as he has a ton of momentum to march forward to bigger & better things. This episode enacted as a bridge that strengthened the build to Heatwave as well as serving the purpose right for most of the matches that were solid in overall.

04.08.2022 | Dynamax Dawn | 7.0 | I thought this show had some good matches with the main event being the match of the night for me with the NXT women's tag team title match coming in close second. Carmelo Hayes vs Nathan Frazier was a fun short match. I thought they did a better job on this show balancing promos and wrestling for the most part . However was not a fan of the contract signing I was very ready for that to end and it felt like it went on forever.

03.08.2022 | Derek Joists | 6.0 | The improvements to WWE don't quite seem to have spread to NXT yet, as while this was a more wrestling focussed show than some episodes the actual quality of the wrestling wasnt't great - and in a few cases outright poor. Several of the segments also seemed somewhat directionless. Not a bad show, and certainly better than quite a few recent ones, but nothing special.
03.08.2022 | ParkwayDriver | 7.0 | A little more disjointed than the last couple weeks but still a solid show. Opener and main event were both pretty fun. Tag title match was solid as was Carmelo/Frazier (which I would have liked to have seen more of.) Vinci and Frazier should be great whenever it happens. Some solid build for Heatwave. Not everything on the show clicks (most notably Joe Fact? s stuff which is a real shame to see GYV dragged into, nothing against Gacy) but the show has continued to iron out a lot of the kinks from the initial 2.0 switch.

03.08.2022 | Grissom | 6.0 | Anfang gut, Ende gut.
03.08.2022 | Penta Suzuki | 4.0 | There was increased emphasis on in-ring action on this episode, with only a few other segments and not much silly nonsense, unfortunately though, the in-ring action was nothing special. The opener was hampered by having two poor teams involved, but was good once they were eliminated. Hayes/Frazer was fine. The Devlin/Breakker contract signing was, something. Devlin is a great promo and I really like the character he's portraying but Breakker is a poor foil, he's too hammy. Breakker struggling to operate the pen drew a chuckle from me and Devlin cutting his finger to sign the contract in blood wasn't as dramatic or sinister as it was supposed to be. The Sarray/Mandy match was horrendous. Then there was an excellent Duke Hudson segment where he interrupted an Axiom promo to cut a great promo of his own, then attacked Axiom with nice stiff shots, he took him to the ring and beat him down some more, cut another snappy promo and went to leave only for Axiom to call him back for a match. The match was short but good, Duke dominated with his hard hitting offense, but ultimately got rolled up for the loss, which was my only negative from this segment. Duke is everything that they want Wagner to be, I don't understand why they're not doing more with him. The tag title match was nothing much, but it finished with Santos returning and LDF turning on D'Angelo which was great. There was a Roxanne Perez vignette in which she was very wooden, they then cut to Cora Jade who said "if only Roxanne was as good in-ring as she is an actress", if that was sarcasm, it was the best moment of her career. Gacy/Jensen was a waste of time and please don't put Fallon with the Gacy goons. KLR deserves credit for dragging Legend to a match that wasn't a catastrophe. Nikkita Lyons responded to Kiana James with a badly acted speech, she's an awful talker. The main event was boring but hopefully the end of the Wagner push. The clear highlights of the episode were the Duke segment, although stop jobbing him out and Santos making his glorious return.
03.08.2022 | Rocky7 | 7.0 | I liked the show a lot with three title defences and a big Falls Count Anywhere main event, but I still have to dock it a point for how awful that Mandy Rose/Sarray match was, it wasn't as bad as Indi Hartwell vs. Lash Legend, but it was close. We have new Women's Tag Team Champions, and some movement to build towards the Heatwave special in a couple of weeks.
03.08.2022 | CognacConversation | 7.0 | When Von Wagner and Lash Legend are involved in decent matches, it's a promising sign that the change at the top of the company might also benefit NXT. Little by little they're shedding the goofy/trashy aspects of 2.0 for the better. Women's tag match, Melo/Frazer and the main event all ranged from good to very good. Santos is back and they appear to going separate ways from Tony D's goofball stable. Didn't care for Axiom/Duke. It's clear they've got no idea what to do with Duke. Only downsides were this Gacy stable (Grizzled Young Vets didn't deserve this) and that DUD between Mandy and Sarray. While Gigi and Jacy deliver in tag matches, Mandy continues to prove why she's the worst champion in that title's history. Also could've done without that cringe Nikkita Lyons promo with her awful speech affectations. But they're taking encouraging steps to make the brand a bit more respectable again, while continuing to showcase developmental talent.
03.08.2022 | Danny Red | 8.0 | Quite a good show if you ask me. Opener was a good title match, every team had some brief moments/spots to shine, and KC² finally winning the titles made for a great moment, crowd loved it [***1/4]. NA title Open Challenge was a fun short match and actually left me wanting to see a longer title match between both Hayes and Frazer (also Nathan Frazer stealing the title match from Giovanni Vinci during the latter's entrance was hilarious lmao) [***]. Mandy Rose vs Sarray was the worst match of the night, for some reason both of them didn't connect and the finish was strange and out of nowhere [*1/2]. Axiom getting an upset win over Duke Hudson was fine, just a brief little match/segment to keep Axiom's momentum in the show. Creeds vs D'Angelo and Stacks was decent, not so much urgency until the final moments when Santos Escobar finally came back and got revenge on D'Angelo; it was more like an angle match but it was fine [***]. Gacy vs Jensen was mid, not a terrible match but didn't felt very important aside from continuing(? ) Brooks & Jensen and Pretty Deadly's feud with the latter interfering in the final moments of the match [**1/2]. Alba Fyre vs Lash Legend honestly surprised me, best match of Lash by miles, she showed some actual development with her ring skills here; props to Kaylee too for selling well for her and making Lash look like a powerhouse, hopefully now she goes for Mandy's title or just to the MR once and for all [**3/4]. Main event was a basic brawl, not a lot of science but got the crowd crazy and the cameos were funny; again not a lot of remarkable stuff aside from the final spot, but Sikoa leaves really over with the crowd and now we'll have to see what are the plans for both competitors in the future [***1/4]. The show didn't have a great match but compared to previous weeks, it was better. They left most of the nonsense and focused on the matches and a more serious presentation of the characters in the show, like Bron/JD's segment. Just a couple of low points with Mandy/Sarray's match and Gacy and Jensen having an unnecesary match, but overall quite a good show for the developmental brand.
03.08.2022 | PACMANJONES | 8.0 | Still love everything about 2.0, its a much better combo of sports entertainment/wrasslin than the other shows. You can definitely tell HHH isn't really involved in this and its all Shawn. Which is nice, some variety by two completely different booking philosophies is nice. When main roster was Sports Entertainment, NXT was workrate. And now its the opposite (Shawn is a much better creative leader than Vince though, so his version of SE is a lot more in line in with what I like)
