Still need to work on lighting. Far too much of the action on the floor falls into shadows and can be hard to see. Terminal 5 has big house lights so this was them choosing this look and that's the only major flaw from a presentation standpoint. I did not like them doing a bait and switch on two different matches and combining them into a tag match but it's possible outside factors caused that. Still led to a very good tag match and great angle to set up a big six man later. |
| 2 | 01.09.2022 | CROWNS UP Jannis | 2.0 | The card promised a super cool show. They hyped this as THE biggest HOG show. And then this... Low Ki was absolutely terrible. Especially his look. It is an insanity that Bandido had to lay down for that guy. Then that 6-Way. Why is there a title that only gets defended in 6 Way matches? Where is the point? There is absolutely no psychology behind it. Horrible match. Now I thought that the show would get great from that point on. But instead of a great Big Man Clash between Fatu and Brody for a World Title (! ) we got a 2 minute match with a Double DQ? ! Ok... now Malakai vs Red... I hoped that this gets cool at least. BUT THE MATCH DIDN'T EVEN HAPPEN! They made a Tag Team match instead... WHY? That match was planned for months since Ospreay vs. Red where Red got injured. They promised us a big time singles match and gave us a tag match which ended... in another DQ finish? Mason vs Janela also wasn't good. Why hat Mason a suit on during wrestling? Also one of the commentators said that therapy would be just for losers without friends. BIG L HOG! The Tag Team championship match was ok but not really worth watching. The only great thing about that show was the main event. It was short yes but I had no problem with that. Love both Marafuji und Kingston. Hope Eddie gets his ultimate dream match against Akiyama soon. |
