[4.0] "Hirooki Goto, Kosei Fujita, Ryohei Oiwa & Yuto Nakashima VS House Of Torture: Okey match, since HoT is involved on it. It was nice to see the Young Lions showing their capabilities. Adequate match. [**1/2]; Aaron Henare & Will Ospreay VS Bad Dude Tito & JONAH: Not a lot of connection between these two teams. Maybe their styles combined don't work so well. I didn't like it. Inadequate match. [*]; Bad Luck Fale, Chase Owens, El Phantasmo & Juice Robinson VS BUSHI, SANADA, Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito: Satisfactory match. There is always something interesting when we have Los Ingobernables involved into a match. Cheers for Bullet Club, everyone except Fale did a pretty decent job. Pretty satisfactory match. [***1/2]; Six Man Tag Team Match: Meh, when the comedy is the main dish of this dinner, the food ends being awful. Nothing of the match is remarkable, pretty forgettable. Inadequate match. [*]; Gedo & Jay White VS Jado & Tama Tonga: The Jado/Gedo rivalry is as interesting as watching a potato sleeping. The only remarkable part of the match were the interactions between the Switchblade and Tama. Pretty psychological and a lot of emotionality on it. Even that, just an adequate match. [**]; YOSHI-HASHI VS David Finlay: Maybe this one could be better, but at least ended with a nice surprise and with some explosive interactions. Lacked of some more emotion, specifically at the beggining of the match. Adequate that could be even better. [**1/2]; Taichi VS Great-O-Khan: Adequate, really nothing of interest here. I liked almost just 30 seconds of the match, the other time was not worth-watching. Maybe the end was a little bit surprising, but just that. [**]; Jeff Cobb VS Tom Lawlor: Okey match, since it worked around velocities that neither of the wrestlers it's comfortable with. The match itself didn't had any interesting moment, just the end of it. Adequate match. Cobb out of the contest. [**]; Hiroshi Tanahashi VS KENTA: Good match. The only way to bring down the ace of the multiverse, the all mighty Hiroshi Tanahashi. Kenta really played it nice, from a slow beggining to an intense bout. Nice action here to close the event. Good match. [****]; Adequate event, since it's getting closer to the end of the tournament. The matches should have been better, but there were just two worthy of watching. [**]"

[6.0] "The tournament is nearing the semifinals and those who have nothing left to lose were more likely to fight here. Many can win with the help of some miracle or mathematical luck. Otherwise, it makes no sense for them to jump over their heads. So we got just decent matches without motivation to steal glory from those who need it more."

[7.0] "Pretty good night of G1 action. My favorite match of the night was KENTA v. Tanahashi, but the other G1 matches were pretty good."

[8.0] "Another good show from the G1. Taichi vs Kahn was a little disappointing but it delivered enough. Tom Lawler and Jeff Cobb showed the Japanese that the US branch doesn't make chumps. Yoshi Hashi deserves more of a push to the never belt but New Japan probably won't do it. Kenta vs Tanahashi was awesome and match of the night."

[7.0] "Pretty good sendoff for eight of the G1 Climax competitors. KENTA/Tanahashi was a great match that didn't quite hit WK16 standards for me, Lawlor got a surprising win over Cobb, and I kinda liked the short but unique GOK/Taichi match."

[6.0] "This day is satisfactory, not over than that. Usual mediocre (in a good sense) show, without great masterpiece."

[6.0] "An okay, but could've been a lot better G1 Climax event that had more than a few matches which weren't too special. JONAH as a commentator was fantastic. The lowest point was when Great-O-Khan fought Taichi. Finished very strong however with a very nice match involving Kenta and Hiroshi Tanahashi."

[6.0] "Really nothing special happened this night, all the matches were good, but none was great, still it was a satisfactory show and nothing bad happened in it."

[8.0] "A very good penultimate block night, with not many standout matches/moments in the tournament portion. However, the prelims really shined here, with some interesting angles that set up night 18 really well and built hype for what is clearly being billed as a more important show."

[8.0] "Pretty solid tournament night. Even if neither match was spectacular, everyone of them was worthy of a watch and most felt important, because of the G1 being so close to an end. JONAH on commentary was also unexpectedly good."
