One Contender's Matches.

WWE Friday Night SmackDown #1197 - 7 gute Punkte. |
15 | 29.08.2022 | DarkPrince | 8.0 | Diese Smackdown Episode beginnt mit dem Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook Street Fight Match, welches mich unglaublich gut unterhalten konnte! |

20 | 04.08.2022 | Prince Osborne | 7.0 | The opener was a fantastic clash between bitter rivals with high stakes & the right winner. Corbin insulted McAfee in a short yet advantageous face-off that garnered heel heat while Shotzi found a space for her to showcase in a really forgettable outing. The women's tag was a pretty good story driven match that had decent action but solidified Morgan as a workhorse champion. Usos & Street Profits had a fine altercation with the mic that advanced their story while the main event was a really good sprint of tag team action. The post-match assault threw a signal of Kingston reverting to singles stardom. Heyman had a great time with the mic while Brock & Drew had an intriguing face-off selling the other side of things if it happens. This episode focused more on wrestling as well as the storytelling part in a serious way and that's a welcome sign for the changes to be expected under the new limelight of management. Nothing silly or boring was seen while the dull parts were almost good. |
21 | 03.08.2022 | PavelDragunov | 6.0 | Drew McIntyre is still the hero of the whole evening, he shows a great match with Seamus, so at the end he hinted to Brock about his desire to fight with him. You can see how the show is being adjusted with the arrival of Triple H to power, there is a greater bias towards wrestling and a minimum of strange scenario solutions. Will the grass really turn green? In general, a pleasant show that is more likely to be remembered for the first match, but otherwise the shortcomings of the past booking are being patched up. |

29 | 31.07.2022 | nWo-Joshi-Guy | 7.0 | Got to admit; I can see hope here. The hallmarks of Triple H were all over this episode. Shotzi soundly defeating Aliyah, no overly long nonsensical promos, plenty of match time. Hell; the Donnybrock match alone was longer than all the matches combined of an average Vince SmackDown. There was even emotion and compelling storytelling in two or three of the matches! |
30 | 31.07.2022 | greaterdale | 7.0 | This show was pretty good. The Drew Mcintyre vs Sheamus match was the match of the night for sure. You don't usually see matches this good on WWE TV nowadays so I understand the high rating it's getting at the moment. I didn't like it as much as y'all though. Still a really fun match that probably should have been the main event. The Corbin buying a ticket segment got some chuckles out of me. Aliyah vs Shotzi was far too short but I'm glad Shotzi picked up a win. Natalya and Sonya Deville vs Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey was a decent match. I'm glad the women got a match over 10 minutes on this show. The Viking Raiders vs The New Day was an above average Main Event. Afterwards they had Paul Heyman cut a promo and Brock showed up and beat up Theory. This show started hot and never quite got better than the opener. There was nothing too bad on the show. I'm cautiously optimistic about this new Triple H run era of WWE. |
31 | 31.07.2022 | Burtch9937 | 9.0 | Overall an excellent go home episode for smackdown leading into Summerslam from top to bottom the show was pretty entertaining highlighted by the Jeff jarret segment the opening match and the closing segment with Brock. |

37 | 30.07.2022 | yngzax | 7.0 | Very good episode of SmackDown and it's been a long time since I said that. An excellent opener between Drew McIntyre & Sheamus then two rather average matches but it's not that bad. The moment with Happy Corbin standing right behind Pat McAfee and him talking non-stop was pretty hilarious. I'm glad Shotzi won her fight against Aliyah, I hope with HHH she can move on. However, during this fight, the crowd was totally dead. Ronda Rousey annoys me every time she talks, she needs to heel turn during SummerSlam, it's not possible anymore. The segment between The Usos, The Street Profits & Jeff Jarrett was really good. I really liked when Dawkins talked about the face paint the Usos had before and Jeff Jarrett's selling of the Superkick was incredible. I'm really happy that Max Dupri is back because of the news we had about his bad understanding backstage. The ending segment was very good too. Paul Heyman is still amazing in his promo delivery. The arrival of Lesnar under a crazy pop like every week, the arrival of Theory who gets smashed then the face off between Drew McIntyre & Brock Lesnar, it was perfect. |
38 | 30.07.2022 | Derek Joists | 7.0 | The best Smackdown for a long time, with a great opening match and a couple of pretty good ones, and much better commentary than usual now that (presumably) they can do their job without having someone constantly bellowing in their ears. It will be interesting to see how SummerSlam goes, and how WWE in general is going forward. They've proved this week that they have the talent to put on good shows, hopefully they'll continue to do so. |
39 | 30.07.2022 | BuffKitty93 | 7.0 | A good show. Set up a lot for the coming month and for Summerslam. Favorite match was the women's tag match hoping to see the official Rousey heel turn at Summerslam. |

54 | 30.07.2022 | LivingLegend | 8.0 | A very good show that went by at a super brisk pace. The opener was great and one of my favourite matches this year. The Corbin/McAfee stuff was great. The Shotzi/Aliyah match was nothing amazing but it got decent after the first minute or so. Shotzi winning was one of many Triple H influences I noticed on the show. The women's tag wasn't an amazing match but told a great story. The Raiders/New Day match was good too. Paul Heyman's promo was another great one from him. He has absolutely carried this year long feud between Roman and Brock. Theory looked like a dork at the hands of Brock, again. With Vince not at the helm Theory's success of cashing in has gone down significantly, although a cash in after Drew wins the belt in the UK would get nuclear heat, and it seemed like they are building around that possibility after their interactions tonight. Having only one or two recap segments also helped a ton with keeping the show moving. Great episode. Also don't insult people over what they think is good or bad. Wrestling is subjective so don't project your negative feelings onto others. Always at least one troll littering the WWE show ratings. |

Plus, a winner that doesn't interest me. Beyond this match, the show is finished. Oh wait, we can have one angle based on Jeff Jarret who get superkicked to hype his job. We done forreal this time. The previous RAW was much better. Hoping you're kidding calling this a « good show ». You must be used to very low standards. Oh wait, that's a fact with Vince, actually. This show is not much better that the job he did. |
