| 1 | 24.07.2025 | Killerman | 4.0 | This show opens with a strange bedfellows tag match. I never knew Austin or Ron teamed together before but this is the eighth time Steve and Simmons teamed together(on TV atleast). This is not the last either as they would team as they would team one last time. Anyways it opens off hot with Austin attacking Road Dogg before Savio Vega runs down to help even the odds. The match continues and is just your average tag match for the most part until at one point Road Dogg goes to the outside then Austin hits him with a chop block to the knee that takes him out leading to Bret Hart coming down and taking Road Doggs spot in the match. Bret wrestling in jeans just does not feel real. The match abruptly ends when The Nation Of Domination attack both Bret and Savio untill Ahmed Johnson with a 2x4 hits the ring leading to everyone from NOD running away. I know Ahmed looks like the biggest roidhead in WWF at the time but were well over 9 people scared of his roidrage that badly? Anyways next was HHH/Flash in quite the sweet match. Before the match starts Goldust makes an entrance through the crowd and sits back to watch the match. Funk gets quite abit of high-flying offense in during the beginning of the match till HHH ducks a cross body attempt from him. HHH then takes control of the rest of the match turning it into a slower methodical for the mostpart with a couple of maneuvers from Funk to spice things up here and there. Near the end Jerry Lawler hops on the house mic and starts yelling at Goldust to leave before Lawler makes him. It was kinda funny seeing Lawler be so concerned about Goldust distracting HHH but he was the one distracting him. While the refs back was turned with that situation, HHH hits Funk with the Intercontinental Championship to get the win. Next we get the in ring faceoff between Bret and Shawn which was just as intense as their other encounters. Bret goes on for awhile about Shawn being a degenerate. When Shawn gets the mic he only gets a few words out because Sid hits the ring. Sid promos are hilarious. Sid screaming "thanks my man" when Shawn threw him the microphone had me in tears. Undertaker then comes out but gets attacked by Vader. They brawl for a few seconds until Taker hits a closeline on Vader then stairs face to face with Sid on the ramp. While Taker and Sid are face to face Vader hits him with one last punch before security break things up. At this point Bret tries to leave the ring but as he's doing that Shawn pulls the middle ropes on Bret crotching him in the process before hitting a springboard crossbody onto Sid to the outside floor. Now Shawn and Sid brawl for abit leading to the end of the segment. Holy shit that was chaotic. Honky Tonk Man and HHH are on commentary with Vince for the main event as Lawler had to go to the back and get ready obviously. Anyways not much happens during the match between Goldust/Lawler. Another shitty finish takes place but this time it's a count out insead of a DQ. So HHH gets off commentary to presumably kidnap Marlena but Marc Mero meets HHH on the ramp. Goldust then starts to run down the ramp so HHH then throws Marlena into Marc leading to Goldust colliding into all of them except for HHH who managed to evade the collision. HHH then proceeds to whoop Goldusts ass and then the show ends. Overall I thought this was simply a okay show, it wasn't the best but it was a decent way to end 1996 for WWF. The matches arnt all that good but that segment with Bret, Shawn, Taker, Vader and Sid was pretty great |

Generell wird er gut dargestellt die letzten Wochen. Das Segment mit Bret Hart und Shawn Michael hatte auch was, Hart war erneut solide am Mic und der Brawl danach war ziemlich cool.. Insgesamt fand ich das echt in Ordnung, generell ging es etwas wilder zu, was man an den ganzen Brawls sieht. |

Lawler gegen Goldust gab aufgrund der Länge nicht viel her. |

Helmsley gewinnt klar und muss sich weiter mit Goldust auseinandersetzen. Starkes Interview mit Michaels und dem Hitman, das am Ende in einer großen Prügelei endet. Beim letzten Match legt sich dann Helmsley mit Goldust an und gerät dann auch noch weiter mit Mero aneinander. Insgesamt eine sehr chaotische Show mit dem Interview von Michaels und Hart als dem Highlight der Show. |

Im Anschluß geht Austin das Gedödel von Armstrong auf den Sack und er macht seiner Meinung Luft - wofür ich mich herzlich bedanke. Das erste Match ist ein großes Verwirrspiel - zwar steht der Hitman schlußendlich an der Seite Vegas, aber ursprünglich gehört da der singende Cowboy auf den Zettel. Egal, am Ende ist das eine DQ durch Eingriff der Nation. An dieser Stelle - Auftritt Ahmed Johnson. Triple H gegen Scorpio - und Goldust ist dem Aristokraten deutlich zu nahe am Geschehen. Jerry Lawler dann aber eher nicht, denn der sorgt wiederum dafür, dass Helmsley mit seinem Gürtel unbehelligt entkommt. Das folgende Doppel-Interview mit Michaels und Hart ist stark - der Playgirl-Faktor gegen den Role-Model Vorwurf. Leider kommen Sid und der Taker just als es interessant wird dazu. Das letzte Match endet im Count-Out zugunsten Lawlers, da Helmsley sich nicht nur mit Goldust anlegt, sondern auch noch mit dem plötzlich auftauchenden Mero. Die Show ist ziemlich unübersichtlich und wirr und nur der Beef zwischen Hitman und Michaels und die Botschaft, dass Helmsley es an allen Fronten zu tun bekommt, sind plausible Entwicklungen. Der Rest ist deutlich unterdurchschnittlich. Aufgerundet. |

Einziger Höhepunkt in dieser Ausgabe war das Segment rund um Bret Hart und Shawn Michaels, wo später dann noch Sid, Undertaker und Vader hinzustoßen sollten. Bret Hart wirkte zum ersten Mal nach einer langen Zeit nicht komplett fremd am Mikrofon und konnte stellenweise sogar wirklich überzeugen. Das Segment war wie schon erwähnt gut und bereitete nicht nur Bret Hart vs. Michaels vor, sondern baute auch noch Sid vs. Michaels und Undertaker vs. Vader auf. Außerdem gab es hier die ersten Andeutungen auf Sid vs. Undertaker. Der Rest der Show war eher zum Vergessen. Die Matches an sich waren natürlich keine Katastrophe, aber leider nichts, was einen interessieren würde. |
