[5.0] "It's hard to rate this show, given that the undercard was all right to slightly better than all right, though since this was an independent event where everybody was on loan nobody felt the need to go all out. Then Ric Flair almost died in the main event, leaving a ghoulish pall over everything else. Given all of the tributes and genuine affection for Flair on the show and the fact that he chose to wrestle of his own free will, I guess I can't be too harsh, but I never want to watch that grotesque main event again."

[6.0] "While a lot of this show does underwhelm in parts this is a surprisingly solid show. I like the idea of showcasing some of the best stuff from multiple companies in the undercard; I just wish some of the matches got a little more time. I can't really recommend watching this full show but there's a couple matches worth watching here; mainly go out of your way to find the Lucha four way. I pray this was the last time Ric Flair is ever in the ring because I don't know if he could survive any more matches. Shoutout to Jay Lethal for his work with Flair and doing what he could to prepare him and make him look good."

There were video messages from various legends littered throughout the show. I liked the look of the show. The JCP branding and huge variety of talent on show."

[5.0] "This is something of a notable event from a historic point of view, and not because it's Flair's "last" match (I doubt it actually will be), but rather because for the first time in two decades (since the third Pillman Memorial Show in 2000) all major American wrestling promotions and many notable independents, including WWE, AEW, Impact, NWA, GCW and MLW, as well as several major international promotions including NJPW, AAA and DDT all cooperated on a single event either through direct involvement or by contributing talent. The production quality was also very good. The in-ring action was something of a mixed bag, though, with at least one great match (the four-way lucha match with Bandido, Black Taurus, Laredo Kid and Rey Fenix), a few solid bouts like Josh Alexander vs. Jacob Fatu and Wolves vs. MCMG, some average-or-below matches (Kross vs. Smith Jr. being the worst). As far as the main event is concerned - well, it was what it was. In his current condition, Flair certainly shouldn't be wrestling, but he also certainly will never be talked out of it if he wants to. The other participants did what they could to put together a story around Flair's sizable limitations and provide something memorable, if not exactly all for the right reasons."

[7.0] "The pre-show had a pretty good Puroresu young lion clash between Uemura & Narita and a solid old school entertainer of a battle royal with a cool story arc to seek interest and benefitted it at the result. The show started off with a superb opener between two classic tag teams clashing for the very first time while Kross completed his indie return in a dull rematch against Smith Jr. and I'm glad that he's back under WWE's new regime offering great benefits so far. The four-way match had a weird rule of survival hindering the expectations in terms of pacing & quality. The same goes with the legacy carrying tag match as the young bloods felt solid unlike Ricky. AAA's four-way attraction stole the night for its furious action energizing the crowd after a long haul of miscues as all four men executed a lot within the time allotted. Alexander & Fatu had a very good tussle of heavy hitters almost gaining the second-best match until the finish no one cared for. Briscoes had a cool night hanging with the young stars of the Von Erich side while the women had a night to forget for its accidents. The main event wasn't worthy if the fans expected a wrestling styled match from a 70-year-old, but the entertainment was there standing out as a great story to witness. Honestly, this event is unwanted, but the hype & the story gave some level of acceptance."

[4.0] "I'm depressed after the Ric Flair final match. You can't show a legend like that and let them into the ring. It was possible to shoot a video fight like in Hollywood movies, but not to let a 75-year-old man with poor health enter the ring. A crime against wrestling. At the same time, the whole show was imbued with love for those times, there were interesting appeals from legends and top stars, although the matches turned out to be short, there was something to see. The hall was for some reason mostly quiet. In general, I liked the entourage of the hall. As a result, I was dissatisfied, as the overall picture turned out to be depressing and as if that bright time could not be transferred to the screens. Ric Flair was already finishing his career, and it was then that it was a bright day that praised his work, and now, it's just sick and tears are flowing."

[8.0] "Decent independent show with wrestlers and personalities from many different promotions, and of course headlined by Ric Flair for his last match. My experience from a floor seat was most of the crowd didn't know who a lot of the wrestlers were but still enjoyed the matches. The crowd of course turned it up a level and was very into the Flair match, easily one of the hottest crowds I've been a part of for the main event. I had some buyers remorse walking into this show, but it was a super fun show I'll never forget."

[5.0] "There was some good matches on this card but since the focus was on Ric Flair, all the matches felt way shorter than I would expect from a PPV undercard. I liked both the fatal four ways with Rey Fenix vs Bandido vs Loreda Kid vs Taurus being the clear Match of the Night in my eyes. The main event was hella depressing and I wish to forget it ever happened to be honest."

[5.0] "A really mixed bag of a show. On the good side you had both Narita/Uemura, MCMG/Wolves being pretty nice, the AAA fourway being amazing and Alexander/Fatu being really good except for the finish The Progress fourway was good but way to short and Briscoes/Von Erichs was fine as well. The Womens match and Rock n Roll/Pillman & Anderson were both decent but skippable. Then you have the battle royale that was really uninteresting even with the GCW guys invading, Smith/Kross being incredibly boring and of course the Main Event that was a match that shouldn't be happening in 2022. Andrade and Lethal had some decent wrestling and Jarrett held his own with the heel antics but Flair didn't neeed to have one more match at all"

[5.0] "The definition of a mixed bag. I'm glad I watched it for the historical aspect, but the bad stuff is impossible to ignore. The main event was a disaster and most of the undercard matches were too short to make an impact. AAA match was great and some of the nostalgia worked well."

[9.0] "An expression of professional wrestling at its most noble. Very heaven descended upon Tennessee and blessed all who witnessed, either at home or in person, with a Rabelasian carnival. Flair at his most grotesque is, paradoxically, Flair at his most beautiful; most profound; most sublime. This broadcast should be preserved for future generations. Thank you Conrad; I will take two mortgages. One point off for Fatu doing flippy shit. Save it for the midgets, nerd."

I really hope Ric Flair never gets back in the ring ever again. The main event was awful. The talent on board for commentary was pretty good, it was amazing to hear Schiavone and Prazak on the same desk."

[2.0] "The card looked pretty fun going in, but this ended up being a lot of forgettable TV-style matches that were cut short, followed by an overly long main event that was, on a technical level, one of the worst matches I've ever seen. Making matters worse, the majority of the crowd was only here for Flair and seemed like they couldn't care less about any of the other matches, so they were tepid throughout the night. The Lucha 4-Way did get them to pop however. I guess this is easy to say with the benefit of hindsight, but I would have booked this more as a legends nostalgia show. Instead of having modern wrestling the crowd didn't care about, maybe have guys like Arn Anderson & Tully Blanchard give in-ring promos talking about what Flair means to the business."

[9.0] "This was an excellent show all around that really gave a good highlight of many different promotions such as Impact, MLW and AAA. All while paying tribute to the GOAT. Sure, Ric Flair's match standalone wasn't great, especially Flair's performance. But I really hope no one goes into this match expecting him to work well at 73. I mostly went in for the undercard, and that didn't disappoint at all. Thank you for everything, Ric Flair. Let's hope this is your ACTUAL last match. 9/10"

The undercard was perfunctory, full of matches you'd forget weeks after they happened on Impact, or cool spots you'd share from luchablog's twitter. The main event was a disaster. Do not watch even as a curiosity."

Man, was I disappointed. Outside of the AAA 4-way, I thought the undercard ranged from OK to bad, The Impact Knockouts match stunk, the Kross/DBSJ match stunk, the ending to Fatu/Alexander stunk. Briscoes vs Von Erichs and BPJ/Brock Anderson vs Mortons were big bowls of nothing. MCMG Vs. Wolves never got to the next gear for me and the PROGRESS 4-way was too short to really be anything. Bad show, Do not recommend anything from it."
