Für Bron Breakker spielt Joe Gacy die Frodo-Rolle und wirft einen Ring ins Feuer. Ist aber nicht der Eine, sondern der HoF-Ring von Papa Rick. Von Wagner leitet sein kommendes Match bereits backstage ein, so dass er im Ring auf nur noch wenig Gegenwehr stßst. Lash Legend kickt die gute Nikkita komplett aus dem Stuhl. Cora Jade trifft auf ihre Heldin, aber eine emotionale Nattie verpasst ihr den Realitätscheck. Derweil ist Xyon Quinn noch humorloser als sonst. Die Creeds liefern das Rückgrat eines sehr anständigen Gauntlet Matches, die Gürtel nehmen aber die beiden schmierigen Briten mit nach Hause. Die Starpower fehlt etwas, aber zwei Matches der Episode sind deutlich vorzeigbar. |

Das Aftermath war vollkomen in Ordnung und zeigt, dass Hayes noch nicht fertig ist. Die Backstage Promo von Waller war dann auch vollkommen okay, reden kann der Mann. Die Videopromo von den Creed Brothers plus Manager hat mir dann soweit auch gefallen. Dann darf Bron Breakker mal wieder zum Mikro greifen, das war wie meistens nicht gut, aber immerhin keine Katastrophe. Und auf eine Fehde mit Gacy freu ich mich so gar nicht, dessen Wortmeldung war eher mau wie fast immer. Da kommt einfach nix rüber bei mir. Das Backstage Interview mit Toxic Attraction hat dann gepasst. Von Wagner macht dann Backstage Jacket Time platt, gibt schlimmeres. Zum Beispiel die Promo von Von Wagners Manager oder kurze Match im Anschluss. Von Wagner hat ja mal so gar nichts an sich. Das Interview mit Nikkita Lyons zeigt mal wieder, dass die Dame noch hart an ihren Promofähigkeiten arbeiten muss, Lash Legends gewaltsame Unterbrechung war dann aber ganz nett. Die Videopromo von Pretty Deadly hat mich dann doch sehr amüsiert. Das Damen NXT Title Match war ne echte Schlaftablette, da hat ja kaum was gepasst. Choos Wasserpistolenangriff nach dem Match beschert uns auch noch ein sehr unwürdiges Aftermath, wow war das mies. Dann nochmal Geblubber von Gacy, das ist nicht bedrohlich sondern macht müde. Das Backstage Segment mit Legado del Fantasma und D'Angelo war dann okay. Cora Jade zeigt dann in ihrer In-Ring Promo, dass sie noch viel Arbeit vor sich hat, so schlecht war das aber nicht, learning by doing. Traurig war hier das Natalya hier eine Stufe schlechter am Mikro ist als Jade, und das obwohl sie länger Wrestler ist als Cora Jade alt ist, das war super peinlich. Das Natalia hier den Heel gibt, find ich aber super. Backstage werde ich dann Zeuge des für mich ersten ordentlichen Segments mit Jensen und Briggs, das freut mich. Die Hype Promo für Nathan Frazier weckt zumindest Interesse bei mir. Xyon Quinn vs. Anthony war dann halt da und tat nicht weh. Das Backstage Segment mit Paxley und Natalya hat auch gepasst, ich mag Paxleys kleine und simple Storyline. Dann gibt es wieder ein Segment mit Pirotta/Hartwell plus Anhang, und dieses mal war das tatsächlich okay. Der Main Event war dann richtig gut, auch wenn ich kein großer Fan von Gauntlet Matches bin. Pretty Deadly sind die richtigen Sieger. Trotz des guten Main Events und ein paar netter Segmente war die Show ziemlich schwach, so dass ich mich durchkämpfen musste bis zum Gauntlet Match. Und das ist deshalb noch weniger als passabel. |

Lowlight ist für mich weiterhin Von Wagner, bei dem Sofia Cornwell jetzt schon interessanter als er selbst ist. Am enderen Ende der Leistungstabelle liegen von die Jungs von Pretty Deadly mit Segment, Hype-Video und auch Leistung im Match. Das war fein. Ansonsten ist das Titelmatch der Damen leider etwas viel Füllmaterial und dient im Kern dem Aufbau von Choo. Gacy und Bron bauen auch weiter auf, aber so ganz rund wird das dann noch nicht. Da läuft es im Titlepicture um Grimes & Co etwas besser ab. Die Storys dahinter funktionieren dann im Kern ordentlich und leben halt von den Charakteren. Natalya mit einer schwachen Wortmeldung, während Cora Jade da schon an Profil gewinnen kann. Lyons macht es gut und hat schon recht viel Star Appeal, wenngleich sie ohne die großen Momente bisher auskommt. Die Don-Story um Tony und Santos nehme ich easy mit. Schön, dass Frazer über den Teich kommt. Wenngleich viel ganz gut für mich funktioniert, den Zugang kann 2.0 gebrauchen. |

Gauntlet Match is the main spectacle of the whole show, a bunch of brutal men are figuring out who will take the gold. The Creed Brothers were able to win my respect for the first time and probably a lot of people appreciated them. I liked Pretty Deadly with NXT UK and I'm glad that they immediately started their journey with great success. Cameron Grimes and Solo Sikoa should figure out the relationship between themselves in the future. Dexter Lumis in a team with Duke Hudson arouse interest, they are a really funny and charismatic team, maybe they will succeed. Otherwise, I don't even want to discuss anything, Natalia is still a good fellow for looking in, I hope she will please with cool fights here. The average episode! |

Not to mention, the two most dull characters on the whole brand - Von Wagner and Xyon Quinn - getting extended TV time is never a good thing. Xyon seemingly turning heel just means there will be two Von Wagners on the roster now... |

The Gauntlet tag match is worth watching, they made the best out of a sudden change of plans. Grimes and Sikoa in the opener was fine but not interesting, Wagner/Jiro was and Quinn/Anthony were both fine sqquashes, Kai/Rose was dissapointing but not awful either. Natalya showing up was a surprise but not as exciting as Ziggler or Styles were. Backstage bits were mostly fine this week with Gacy's promos against Bron being pretty solid |

That main event was an all timer, rivalling anything from black and gold. Women's match was weird, seemed like a lack of chemistry. I think a lot of low ratings of this show are going to be from seethe that Dakota didn't win, which isn't fair IMO. The Gacy segments were peak insane. The Natty segment was incredible, legitimately, she fooled the fuck out of me with her acting. She acts so camp its unreal, genuinely a great move to bring her down. |

I couldn't describe any of the matches as good, although LDF did what they could in the little time they got before being jobbed out first in the gauntlet match. Quinn vs Anthony was poor and the women's title match was terrible. Von Wagner has no upside, I don't know why they're insisting on making him a thing. The treatment of Kushida continues to be abysmal. Kacy & Kayden resurfaced for the first time since their excellent match against Io & KLR, but not in a match or even a segment, no, instead they were backstage extras, which is incredibly frustrating, especially when they continue to give screen time to the horrendous Cora Jade who came out and cut another droning, wooden promo until she was interrupted by, of all people, Natalya, which then lead to more horrific acting from Cora before Natalya, for the first time ever, got over with me by attacking Cora and putting her in a sharpshooter, Cora tapped immediately, screamed and flailed her arms around, which was more embarrassing acting from her. The highlight of the entire episode was Nikkita Lyons flying backwards over a chair after a boot from Lash Legend, I actually watched that back multiple times, it was hilarious. |
