10 | 15.05.2023 | SimpBizkit | 8.0 | After last years tournament I expected to fully be let down especially with the loss of Cogar and Colon not being in it but I was glad to be proven wrong. Yamashita, Sugiura, and Parker blew the roof off off of the carousel room. Parker vs Tremont was a good final but the overall tournament really was lacking that something special of the year before. Tremont/Sugiura for MOTN |

12 | 23.12.2022 | arrancar | 4.0 | Disclaimer: I'm not a big death-match fan. I occasionally enjoy them, but only when they're really creative/chaotic. I decided to still watch this show out of curiosity due to the high ratings, but I ultimately thought it was pretty weak. Yamashita vs Hoodfoot was alright. Yamashita was endearing with her energy and sympathetic selling, while Hoodfoot was quite brutal in control. Their big spots were often pretty contrived but occasionally kind of cool. It was difficult to believe in them being so evenly matched, but Hoodfoot destroying her was entertaining. **3/4. Tremont vs Slade was fine -- completely mindless yet still entertaining-ish with how painful all their attacks and spots looked, plus the loads of blood. **1/2. Toru vs Mercer was alright as an actual wrestling match, since Mercer was a fun powerhouse heel and Toru was endearingly energetic babyface, but their weapon/prop spots were pretty generic and contrived. Ultimately fine. **1/2. Parker vs Radrick was yet another pretty generic death match without anything meaningful. Radrick's character work was quite dorky and his actual wrestling quite sloppy, while Parker was fine but didn't do anything too impressive. Their many big weapon/prop spots all came and went without ever feeling remotely significant. Another fine spectacle but still mostly mindless and contrived. **1/2. The 6-man Scramble should have been dumb fun but it was actually just kind of bad. It was a typically overly contrived spotfest, mostly showcasing a bunch of low-effort spots without any intensity or passion. Some stuff from Wayne and Yoya was nice, but then Snow and Sawyer were extremely amateurish, sloppy, and impossible to take seriously (even in a spotfest). Disappointing. **1/4. Tremont vs Toru was another load of contrived weapon/prop spots that never actually looked as painful or devastating as both wrestlers tried to treat them. Not much creativity or intensity either, with both guys mostly just moving from spot to spot without any of them feeling significant. At least Toru showed some okay fire at points, but that was it. A few of their wrestling exchanges actually had decent energy, so I wish they'd focussed more on that. Fine and forgettable yet again. **1/2. Parker vs Yamashita was more and more of the same low-effort and generic death match spots. Yamashita's charisma was entertaining, and as usual, some of their weapon/prop were okay, but there was still nothing remotely special about this or even very exciting, and it was difficult to buy into Yamashita hanging with Parker as long as she did. **1/2. The tournament final of Tremont vs Parker was mostly more of the same but at least slightly above most of the other matches. Their wrestling exchanges were still pretty weak, and their weapon/prop spots never looked appropriately damaging/painful, but a few spots with the darts and scaffold were okay, and I somewhat liked the basic story of them being so evenly matched. **3/4 |
13 | 27.11.2022 | cYkoTIk | | The show you put on when you lose all your talent....damn this company is hurting without Atticus Cogar. He was their star which was the reason he won TOS6. IDK what went on there between him and Lauderdale but he needs to make it right with him and get Cogar back in GCW. Was nice seeing Nick Mondo though! |

Ein Fantastisches First Round Match (****). Insgesamt eine Gute Show. |

20 | 08.07.2022 | XXDoubleHHXX | 10.0 | I admit that the pairings were a little weird to me but it turned out to be one of the best deathmatch tournaments. Drew Parker is going to be featured in more GCW shows and hopefully more title reigns. |
21 | 07.07.2022 | Filmstrips666 | 9.0 | Incredible Tournament of Survival and my new personal favorite. Good combo of spots and matchups however I do think the main event from last year was better than this years but was ultimately happy with the outcome. |

25 | 11.06.2022 | CodyHewitt95 | 8.0 | I liked last year? s ToS 666 better, however this still was a good deathmatch tournament with lots of fuckery and ultraviolence, my favorite match of the night was the Home Run Derby Deathmatch between Matt Tremont and Slade. |

35 | 05.06.2022 | TowardsDawn | | A very enjoyable show. Drew Parker was the highlight of the show for me with 3 great matches. The biggest surprise of the show was the performance of Cole Radrick, his match with Drew was the best match of the night. |

39 | 05.06.2022 | laldila | 10.0 | Last year's TOS was an all timer despite being cursed with the way some talent ended up being scumbags. Here's hoping this one does not end the same because it was just as good. Maybe not quite as explosive thanks to the threepeat, but more consistent for sure, and the finals this time around was exactly what it needed to be; a deathmatch legend looking for the one thing that has eluded hi vs a fast rising young star looking to build his legacy. |
40 | 05.06.2022 | joethom | 9.0 | There is not a bad match in this tournament. The semi finals are must see for deathmatch fans but even the opening round matches are all well put together and worth watching. The finals had compelling stories for both men, culminating in a fitting end to this show. Just as good if not perhaps better than last year's Tournament of Survival 666. |
41 | 05.06.2022 | BUIOOMEGA | 8.0 | The show is absolutelly killer! What a tourney! Not a single bad match (and in this kind of situation is not obvious), great one! |
42 | 05.06.2022 | AlexGimenezBCN | 9.0 | One of the best tournaments ever made in the US. When you think GCW isn't a deathmatch heavy promotion, they remind you how awesome they can be. A fantastic tournament, with one of the freshest lineups, a great mix of young talent and top tier imports, who, for me, really elevated the level in this. Every match was at least solid, and there were a couple of bangers in Parker-Radrick and Tremont-Parker. It should be mention too that, if in most tourneys the semifinals are always the worst matches, in this case it wasn't, and both matches were great, which was such a pleasant survive. So not as emotional as last year, but, from an in-ring point of view, this show was even better. Must watch for DM fans. |
